Chapter 192

Chapter 190: The Universe is the Biggest Cheat

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

Tony's gaze hardened slightly; he felt this was a bit tricky.

The Sorcerer Supreme's first question struck right at the heart of the matter.

Where are you from?

How could he answer? He could only vaguely respond with the cure-all excuse of the "Multiverse." The Multiverse itself represents infinite possibilities. No matter how absurd or ridiculous those possibilities might be, as long as the Multiverse exists, even the most absurd and ridiculous possibilities will exist!

Tony had no doubt that there truly was a universe where Earth had none of the messy Metahumans, or Sorcerers, Mutants, and other strange things, and everyone's greatest goal was to frantically climb various technology trees.

The Sorcerer Supreme's gentle face seemed to give the illusion of a constant smile. Yet, a second glance revealed an intangible pressure, precisely because of how calm and serene it was. Those wise eyes, which had seen all of life's vicissitudes, saw right through any petty thoughts, making it seem as if no one could lie in the Sorcerer Supreme's presence.

"Traversing between universes within the Omni-Sphere World is, when viewed against the backdrop of the infinite Multiverse, an exceedingly common phenomenon, with countless examples. However, to cross time, universes, and all things known and unknown within the Omni-Sphere World, which is tightly enveloped by the Speed Force Wall—and to even evade the surveillance of the Watchers—that is very difficult."

The Sorcerer Supreme looked at Tony and said gently, "You are a miracle. Before you came to this world, all timelines were normal. But after you arrived in this universe, all the timelines underwent slight changes—though such changes are happening constantly."

Are timeline changes normal? Completely normal. No matter how excessive or absurd the changes to a timeline are, it's still normal. Timelines are linked to the universe.

Not to mention, the omnipresent Speed Force Wall actually houses a large number of Speedsters who can use the Speed Force. Traveling through timelines is a trivial matter for that bunch of Speedsters.

In other words, the Speed Force Wall has a large group of enforcers capable of traveling through time and universes.

Every time a Speedster travels through space-time, it triggers changes in numerous universes. Thinking about it this way, changes to the timeline are not actually that rare.

Hearing this, Tony just shrugged, feeling indifferent about causing changes to the timeline.

Tony had already thought deeply about similar issues and had even read related books. Did this Multiverse have something like the Allspark? It seemed not, before this. But when Tony had his Awakening, it came into existence. Not only did this universe now have it, but countless other universes did as well.

Even if he had remained an Ordinary Human his entire life, he would still have triggered changes in countless universes.

For example, if Tony had a banana and an apple in front of him, and he ate the banana first, a universe where he ate the banana first would appear. If he chose the apple, a universe where he ate the apple first would appear.

Perhaps in the universe where he ate the banana first, this version of him would finish it happily and be perfectly fine, while in another universe, a Tony would choke to death on that same banana.

The Multiverse itself is infinite possibility. Add to that its correspondence with timelines, and the Speed Force Wall that envelops the Multiverse and contains a whole bunch of reckless, overpowered Speedsters, and the variables become absurdly large.

Therefore, perhaps the Allspark had never existed before, but the moment after his Awakening, the Allspark also appeared in the countless newly created alternate universes.

Thus, to many who were unaware, the Allspark became one of the Multiverse's inherent abilities, as if the Allspark was meant to exist from the moment the universe was born.

Thinking of it this way, the Multiverse is a supremely unreasonable thing. Once a living being researches something good, this unprecedented good thing becomes commonplace the moment it's created, copied with perfect fidelity across who knows how many universes.

The biggest Overpowered Individual, in fact, is the universe itself.

Tony had long been mentally prepared for this. The countless life forms possessing creative abilities seemed to be born to complete the universe, creating all sorts of novel things which the universe would then copy to become more perfect.

This was the most terrifying conjecture, but also the one closest to the truth.

He knew his own limits. Although the Allspark was miraculous, it was still a far cry from things like the Heart of the Universe, the Omega Effect, or the Anti-Life Equation—items that were unique and involved the very survival of the Omni-Sphere World.

Not to mention his Allspark was still incomplete.

The Sorcerer Supreme waved her hand, and before Tony could answer, the entire room began to change.

Space-time seemed to warp and shift in an instant. The room's barriers disappeared, replaced by an endless darkness—a darkness so profound you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, enveloping everything.

"Beginning with the Big Bang, all things in the world started to appear and gradually propagate after the explosion of the initial Singularity."

Countless stars began to appear from the darkness. Starting as mere pinpricks of light, they began to multiply frantically at a speed visible to the naked eye, eventually filling all the darkness.

Gradually, these points of starlight began to converge, forming a palm-sized, spherical universe. This spherical universe then began to shrink, as if everything was becoming minuscule under the Sorcerer Supreme's control.

"The domain we inhabit is called the Omni-Sphere World. It mainly consists of the Speed Force Wall, the Blood Realm, and the Multiverse."

"Within the vast and boundless expanse of the Speed Force Wall, countless universes of all sizes exist in the same space, vibrating at different frequencies. Every moment, countless universes are born, and countless others perish."

"In the vast distances between universes, there is an expansive space known as the 'Blood Realm.' The Blood Realm is actually a high-dimensional fluid medium that connects the physical forms of all universes on a higher dimension."

"And the 'Speed Force Wall,' which envelops the Multiverse and the Blood Realm, is the source of all speed, a peculiar dimension, and the limit that matter can reach. The interior of the wall connects to the Multiverse, while the exterior connects to an even more vast and boundless space-time."

"Although there are many instances of space-time travel within the Omni-Sphere World, no one has ever been like you, traveling from another alternate universe to the Prime Universe."

The Sorcerer Supreme smiled gently. A faint, clear wrinkle could even be seen on her face, showing that the great Sorcerer Supreme was not young. She continued to narrate her earth-shattering words, bit by bit.

"The universe we are in is the Prime Universe, the first universe born from the Big Bang. It is the source of the entire Multiverse. All of the infinite universes that exist today originally derived from here."

"You are very fortunate, Tony. But no one has ever been like you, able to silently bypass the numerous man-made blockades and return from an alternate universe to the Prime Universe—the origin of everything—to start over with the body of a mortal!"
