chapter 029 part 2
Chapter 68
The next day.
Martin rose, refreshed and cheerful, and calmly donned his clothes, each movement steady, as if rehearsed a thousand times.
Behind him, clothes lay scattered and disheveled, especially the black long dress, which had been torn into countless pieces, inviting speculation.
Death's face was pale, lying in the covers, staring intently at Martin, filled with endless rage.
"I heard that different people see you in different forms; everyone's perception is unique. It seems my luck is quite good."
Martin's lips curved into a cold smile as he calmly fastened his shirt buttons. His expression clearly showed extreme satisfaction with everything that had transpired last night.
Her figure, voice, face, and temperament were all impeccable, an utterly delightful experience.
No grand feast could compare to such an enjoyment.
After dressing, Martin looked down at Death, the two Infinity Stones he had held tightly throughout now slightly reduced in power, granting Death a sliver of movement capability.
"Since the Multiverse was born, no one has ever offended me like this..." Death's black pupils rotated, an aura of death subtly surging, and the laws of termination leaped forth, directly targeting Martin.
The glow of the Infinity Stones pulsed, instantly crushing this cosmic law.
Martin walked over, grabbed Death by the neck, then fiercely kissed her lips. He then sneered, "If no one did before, it's because they were trash, holding you, the God of Death, on a high pedestal. But I am different. In my eyes, you are no different from anyone else. Death or non-death, essentially, they are all the same..."
The only difference was whether he was interested in doing such a thing.
Unfortunately, last night, he was interested.
And Death delivered herself to him.
He, Martin, was a thorough conqueror. This conquest wasn't just displayed through slaughter and extinction; it manifested in every aspect!
He wasn't a pathetic sycophant fool like Thanos, Marvel's number one bootlicker. The guy got a full set of Infinity Stones, his strength rivaling the Five Great Creation Gods, and the first thing he did was snap his fingers to wipe out half the planets in the Universe, just to please Death?!
*What the hell, that's insane?!*
With a full set of Infinity Stones, Death should obediently kneel and let you do as you please. Why the hell would you destroy half the Universe just to please her?
And even that's not all. Another Thanos, who acquired the Heart of the Universe, had battle power that reached Omniverse Level, yet he still couldn't change his bootlicking nature.
Only the Controller Thanos was somewhat tough. After gaining an OAA-level cheat, he discovered he possessed the authority to devour everything, and the first thing he did was devour Death. *That's* what you call normal operation.
Martin was not a ridiculous, self-deprecating sycophant like Thanos. He also severely lacked all forms of respect for Death. When facing Death directly, he wouldn't have the excitement and caution one feels when facing their goddess.
He just did it.
"You need to understand one thing: you delivered yourself to me for my pleasure. There's absolutely no reason for me to refuse—your ultimate purpose for coming here has been fulfilled. You can leave now."
Martin looked at Death impassively, then said.
The anger in Death's eyes suddenly dissipated. She stared directly at Martin for a long time, a look of wonder in her eyes. She then pushed back the covers and calmly rose, revealing her exquisite figure.
"Martin, you are truly special, truly unique. I will keep my eyes on you. You'd better always remain strong. You'd better pray that you don't show any weakness, or I will come and claim your soul and imprison you in my hands forever. Then, it will be you begging me for my favor..."
Martin also smiled: "I think it should be the other way around; you'll be kneeling on the ground, desperately begging me for my favor. That's not impossible, and in fact, it's the most likely outcome."
Death's figure vanished from the spot. The gloomy aura of death that had constantly lingered around also completely dissipated.
Martin pulled out a chair, sat down, poured himself a cup of coffee, sniffed its aroma, smiled, and took a sip.
The bitter taste of the coffee flowed down his tongue and into his stomach, warming his body.
He had to admit, it was truly a... wonderful experience. This flavor was captivating.
"You won't look forward to finding me again, even if you are a Creator God, you won't look forward to that day."
Martin suddenly chuckled softly. He needed to make the necessary preparations for the future.
After a moment of thought, Martin drained his coffee, slowly rose, and walked out of the grand hall. Standing atop the several thousand-meter-tall steel structure, he looked down at all the activities of the Transformers below.
The fierce wind howled; his ambition soared.
His great journey had only just begun.
Martin then looked up, his gaze traversing the distant vacuum of the Universe, quietly observing the birth and destruction of countless planets. A single Universe held such splendor; what then would the infinite Multiverse hold?

Chapter 70
Having defeated the Chitauri, Earth achieved a major victory. Once the technology left behind by the Chitauri is assimilated, Earth's overall technological level will advance once again.
With Earth's existence now revealed in the vast cosmic starry sky, and its coordinates exposed, many internal conflicts on Earth now seem utterly insignificant.
