Chapter 51

chapter 029 part 1

"You like to use the Infinity Stones this way? This is the first time I've seen them used this way."

A clear voice, carrying a strange, inexplicable charm, suddenly echoed. In this hall, which should have been empty and utterly silent, a voice suddenly spoke, reaching Martin.

Martin slowly opened his eyes, his expression calm.

Chapter 67

He turned his head to look.

What met his gaze was a slender, black-haired woman with long hair reaching her waist, moving gracefully. A black dress accentuated her perfect figure.

Her charm was astonishing, and what was more, she exuded an indescribably powerful allure, a kind of magic power that seemed to draw one's soul into its mystery.

It gave one a nearly suffocating sensation.

Unexpectedly, Martin merely glanced up, his expression unwavering, not even showing the slightest surprise. He immediately lowered his head, resuming his examination of the two Infinity Stones.

For Martin, the allure of the Infinity Stones was far greater than that of this woman.

*Heh, woman, don't stop me from observing the Infinity Stones.*

Martin didn't speak, and the woman in black remained silent. They stood in silence, as if they had known each other for a long time, a natural quietude between them, devoid of any awkwardness.

After a while, Martin looked up, his brows slightly furrowed: "Why haven't you left yet?"

The woman paused, then suddenly chuckled, her voice melodious and enchanting. The strange allure intensified.

She spoke, "Do you know who I am?"

"I've already guessed."

Martin swept his gaze over her, scrutinizing her from head to toe, expressing admiration for her beauty. He said calmly, "I just didn't expect a small figure like myself to attract the attention of a universe deity like you. In fact, if there were any possibility, the deity I'd least want to deal with is you, Death."

This impossibly charming figure was indeed Death, one of the Five Great Creation Gods, a living god, and simultaneously the personification of all death and termination.

She was the entire concept of Death; Death was her very being.

Death covered her mouth, letting out a soft laugh: "You're very interesting, different from everyone I've ever met."

"You're also very interesting, different from all the gods I've encountered. At least, no other god enthusiastically barges into someone else's territory and brazenly observes. That easily causes unnecessary misunderstandings."

Martin gripped one Infinity Stone tightly in each hand, appearing relaxed and unconcerned, but he was already prepared to strike.

He swiftly assessed the potential battle situation in his mind.

"Whoever appears here cannot be her true form; otherwise, facing the true form of a Multiverse True God, I wouldn't even need to fight, just surrender. But if it's an avatar, at most it's a Single Universe-level entity, which I can disregard."

A single Infinity Stone represented a Single Universe level of power. With two Infinity Stones, eliminating Death's avatar before him... would not be difficult!

Death casually walked over, pressing her body close to his. A slender hand gently rested on Martin's shoulder, lightly caressing it, as she leaned close to his ear and whispered, "You're the most interesting fellow I've ever met. Honestly, I'm very interested in you..."

"More interested than in Thanos?" Martin asked, unmoving and cold.

"Thanos? At least, the Thanos of this Universe, I haven't interacted with him much because he's quite boring. Although his ideology is ridiculous, it can still bring me pleasure, so I let him off."

Death whispered, her warm breath caressing Martin's ear.

It tickled.

Martin realized in his heart, *So that's it.* Was the Thanos of this Universe the 'population control' Thanos? Compared to the neurotic sycophants of other Universes, the population control Thanos had the most righteous worldview, the noblest ideals, and the most normal way of thinking.

That is to say, this Universe... was more inclined towards the Cinematic Universe? No, it should be a Universe with a mix and Timeline-shifting effects, primarily based on the film version. After all, the Marvel Multiverse is truly infinite, with every Timeline able to branch into a massive number of new Timelines. Every Universe constantly replicates itself, splitting into infinitely vast Parallel Universes, which then continuously self-replicate and split, an infinite power of infinity.

It's not like DC Comics next door, where after several Major Events, the legitimate infinite Multiverse was ultimately massacred until only a fixed 52 Universes remained, plus a few special scattered Universes, forming the DC Multiverse—a truly tragic state.

This Universe he was in might be a Parallel Universe derived from a pure Cinematic Universe.

Anyway, there was no essential difference; they were all Single Universes, with limited scope. It was already pretty good that it wasn't the Zombie Universe or the Universe where Deadpool massacred the Marvel Universe.

Martin turned his head, staring at Death's face, so close, for a moment, then pondered. He reached out and grabbed her, saying calmly, "My personal space isn't so easily entered. Since you've come, you must pay the price! Even if you are a Multiverse True God, there's no exception."

Death suddenly smiled, an extremely satisfied expression on her face, but her figure abruptly retreated like a ghost, escaping Martin's grasp. She covered her mouth and chuckled, "Martin, you're not worthy of me yet. To realize those thoughts in your head, you still need to do more for me."

Martin looked at her with a peculiar gaze, filled with deep surprise: "I don't care if I'm worthy of you; that won't stop me from having you."

Death paused, then let out a low chuckle, her figure about to slowly vanish from the spot.

Martin snorted, clenching both hands fiercely. The power of the Infinity Stones erupted, two ultimate forces of cosmic law, forcefully sealing everything nearby!

This domineering, sudden move forcibly locked Death in place and solidified all her forms.

Death's departure was obstructed, and her face instantly changed. An unprecedented shock and fury flashed across her exquisite face, as she said with a darkened expression, "I am a God, a supreme Creator God! How dare you offend me so..."

"What are you raging about? I don't care about any of that."

With the terrifying power of the Infinity Stones binding everything in his hands, Martin rose and slowly walked forward, with the calm demeanor of a hunter closing in on his prey. He approached the furious Death, held her chin, and examined her for a moment, a satisfied look on his face.

The next second, he pushed Death, his fingers touching her through her black long dress, directly pushed her onto...

The bed.

Then, he pressed himself fully onto her.
