Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 19

Soon, this terrifying pulling force reached its peak, erupting to its limit. The very next moment, Ghost Rider was stunned, a fleeting trace of bewilderment appearing in his hollow eye sockets.

Snap!

Martin raised his arm, firmly grabbed both of Ghost Rider's wrists, and slowly tightened his grip. The terrifying force made Ghost Rider's wrists emit a bone-chilling cracking sound, as if they would snap the next second.

"Pathetic clown, is your theatrical performance over?"

Martin slowly lifted his head, his signature smile appearing on his face.

"You talk to a conqueror like me about sin? Don't you know that every slaughter, every annihilation I commit, is carried out with genuine conviction, and every command is executed with pilgrim-like devotion?"

"I am a conqueror. Killing every living thing that stands in my way is the value of my existence. This is inherently something that brings my entire being joy..."

Chapter 44

Regarding killing, Martin has always approached it with a very serious mindset.

He would not hesitate to eliminate anyone who stood before him, no matter who they were.

As a conqueror, annihilating slaughter was a sacred and glorious act for him. When he personally carried out such deeds, how could he possibly feel burdened by sin?

This was the greatest flaw of the Penance Stare: its overly subjective standards. When the judged person had a strong affirmation in their will and thoughts, they could completely ignore the power of the Penance Stare.

This stunned Ghost Rider, who felt an even deeper bewilderment.

"Why can you ignore my gaze?"

Ghost Rider whispered in confusion.

Martin grabbed the other party's wrists and slowly pried them apart. Hearing this, he said coldly, "What you see as sin, I see as honor. Don't use your shallow and ridiculous eyes to judge me."

His strength continued to increase.

The flames on Ghost Rider's body immediately surged higher, attempting to incinerate Martin. But when the flames spread to Martin's arm, they couldn't harm him in the slightest.

CRACK!

Martin snapped both of Ghost Rider's hands on the spot.

Even a Spirit of Vengeance of noble origin still had limits.

BANG!

Martin punched Ghost Rider squarely in the chest, and terrifying power continuously surged in, forcibly smashing the Spirit of Vengeance's resilient Spirit Body, creating a dreadful dent.

The Hellfire dissipated, leaving only the unconscious Johnny in its place.

"Johnny Blaze... This guy is truly an unlucky fellow." Martin glanced at him.

When Johnny was young, Mephisto targeted him and tempted him with the condition of curing his father's cancer. Both parties signed a contract, and Johnny "voluntarily" became Mephisto's knight.

As a result, his father's cancer was indeed cured, but then, during a subsequent stunt performance, he was tricked by Mephisto and fell to his death on the spot.

Mephisto, this Demon, fulfilled his promise of curing the cancer and gained a knight who harbored a fallen Spirit of Vengeance. It was truly perfect.

Ah, Johnny, truly an unlucky fellow, to make a deal with a vile Demon.

"Let me eat this fool."

Surtur reached out to pick up Johnny.

"As you wish, just clean it up thoroughly." Martin said casually.

Surtur looked at Martin with surprise, then let out a malicious chuckle, directly grabbed Ghost Rider, and swallowed him.

With a rumble, endless Eternal Flames and immense Skyfather-level power gradually devoured Ghost Rider completely.

"Hmm... This guy has a Demon's contract on him, and a Demon's power protecting him, but it doesn't matter..." Surtur muttered, "it just means it will take a bit more time."

A mere Mephisto was not enough to faze him.

"No—damn it, you vile creature, how dare you harm my servant?!"

Mephisto's figure suddenly appeared not far away, letting out an angry growl, with a hidden trace of panic in his eyes. He realized that his contract with the Spirit of Vengeance had dissipated; his most valued subordinate had actually died.

"The Spirit of Vengeance was supposed to be an Angel guarding Earth, but you corrupted it into a Demon entangled with Hell."

Martin looked at this figure who appeared to be an ordinary old man, but clearly smelled a strong scent of sulfur emanating from him, and then spoke indifferently.

"Oh, in this era, someone actually knows about the Spirit of Vengeance?"

Mephisto raised his head, a little surprised.

He had to be surprised, because the first time the Spirit of Vengeance descended upon Earth was already twenty thousand years ago.

Earth at that time was in a state of Chaos.

Earth's two major native races, the Eternals with perfect genes and the Deviants with mutated genes, erupted into a decisive battle for Earth's hegemony. The result was the defeat of the Eternals, who fled Earth as an entire race. Mid-journey, they were attacked by the Kree Empire, and many of their people were captured and modified for biological experiments—this is how the Inhumans, who live on the Moon today, came to be.

The remaining Eternals fled in disarray to one of Saturn's moons and rebuilt their civilization. This branch of Eternals later called themselves—the Eternal Titan Race.

The Saturnian moon they resided on was also named by them—Titan!

This is why Thanos was so special, born with distinctive purple, wrinkled skin, so much so that his birth mother, upon seeing him, this monster, for the first time, immediately picked up a surgical knife to kill him.

Among the Eternals, who possessed perfect genes, the appearance of a deformed child was simply inconceivable! If genes could mutate, what kind of 'perfect genes' would they be called? What kind of Eternals would they be?
