Chapter 32

"That damned Odin, to actually give my Eternal Flame to this monster... I must destroy Asgard!!"

Surtur's heart seethed with hatred. He already understood what had happened; he was about to become Martin's servant. In his fury, he immediately cursed his arch-nemesis, Odin.

Anyway, no matter what, cursing Odin was always the right thing to do; it was all that bastard Odin's fault.

"It's done."

Martin cradled the Allspark, looking at the Black Cube, which was as calm as ever, as if devouring the Life Core of a Skyfather-level being was utterly insignificant, causing no visible change.

But Martin, intimately connected to the Allspark, smiled.

He now had a Skyfather-level servant. Whenever he wished, he could revive Surtur, bringing an apocalypse comparable to Ragnarök to countless worlds and planets.

More importantly, Surtur was immortal, especially since the Eternal Flame was now fully controlled and consumed by Martin. He could revive anytime, anywhere, and return to the battlefield.

Such a warlike and immortal servant was coveted by all, destined to become the sharpest blade in his hand, cutting down all enemies in his path.

Even more significantly, Surtur's immortality was now also mastered by Martin.

Chapter 42

Hell, an extremely peculiar realm, exists independently of the Multiverse yet can connect to countless Universes within the Multiverse through its unique World Laws.

Additionally, with a horde of heinous Demons coveting the countless delicious Souls throughout the Multiverse, they would always find a way to forge a path, even if none existed.

Among them, Mephisto was undoubtedly the most active. As a notorious Arch-Demon, his favorite pastime was to roam the Earths of various Universes, tricking foolish Humans and then harvesting their Souls amid their pleas and suffering.

Souls brimming with negative emotions were the most delicious things in the world.

Now, he had set his sights on a completely new target. This group had appeared on Earth for the first time, yet even from a distance, he could sense an irresistible attraction drawing him in.

"Oh, these Mechanical Lifeforms are called Transformers? Their Souls are truly delicious, pure and rich, absolutely mesmerizing."

Mephisto held a smartphone, scrolling through the screen, looking at reports about the Transformers and Martin, and let out a heartfelt exclamation.

This was simply too wonderful; he had a fresh supply of unique Souls to harvest.

"That bastard Cyttorak, always using his terrifying power to oppress all the Demons in Hell, but I'll show him that I am the strongest Demon; I'll surpass him sooner or later!"

Mephisto placed the phone on the table, various schemes and machinations swirling in his eyes.

He was too familiar with Earth; he constantly dispatched numerous avatars to walk across the Earths of various Universes.

Yet, he had never encountered such wondrous creatures as the Transformers before.

"My loyal servant, Johnny, if you can bring me enough Transformers, I will grant you your freedom."

Mephisto smiled as he looked at the young man on the motorcycle before him.

Johnny was about to refuse, but the Spirit of Vengeance within him stirred, directly seizing control of his body. In an instant, a flaming skull appeared, and even his motorcycle transformed into a Hell Cycle.

Ghost Rider, maxed out.

"Remember your promise, Mephisto, or I will return and kill you."

Ghost Rider's voice was chilling as he roared away on his motorcycle, leaving a trail of flames on the ground.

Mephisto's gaze turned cold: "Compared to the Transformers, I'm more interested in the method that can create these special Souls. This 'Martin' character is either the vessel of some Cosmic Deity, or he possesses a Divine Artifact I don't know about."

An entity capable of mass-producing complete Souls with a single leap to power – Mephisto had never even heard of such a thing. This creative ability must have a cause.

Ghost Rider was merely his pawn.

...

Ghost Rider still caused a sensation, as the fierce man rode his motorcycle directly across the sea, heading west, roaring towards the African Continent.

Have you ever seen a motorcycle moving on fire across the ocean? No, the key is that the rider was a flaming skull!

Many people were stunned, feeling that this world was becoming stranger and stranger, with all sorts of bizarre things appearing. However, considering that even Deities had emerged, a flaming skull didn't seem so hard to accept anymore.

"Hmph, the stench of Sin is everywhere. The Souls here need to face Judgment."

The immortal Ghost Rider sneered repeatedly. After setting foot on this land, he charged directly towards the recently constructed base.

But soon, he froze.

A massive monster, its entire body ablaze with terrifying flames and standing at meters tall, suddenly emerged from the base. It took a single step, and with a thunderous impact, stomped directly onto him.

With a thunderous crash, Ghost Rider was stomped deep into the ground.

"Hmph, Hellfire, of all things. Even after so many years, this flame still disgusts me..."

Surtur lifted his foot and mumbled, his previously foul mood finally improving slightly.

Anyone would be furious. He had been defeated by Odin, his Eternal Flame sealed away by Odin, and painfully awaited a chance to resurrect, which at least offered hope. But now...

He himself had become someone else's servant, forced to travel thousands of miles from the Nine Realms to the desolate Midgard—though he had successfully reunited with his long-separated Eternal Flame, the experience was far from pleasant.

It was simply too much.

And having just crushed a petty Insectoid, Surtur felt a sliver of his anger dissipate.

"Sinful Souls require Judgment."

Ghost Rider nonchalantly climbed out of the deep pit, raising his head to stare up at the giant. The flames on his skull flickered, and the Power of Judgment immediately surged forth.

"Foolish one, look into my eyes," Ghost Rider said in a low voice.

Surtur paused, a more terrifying Cosmic Pressure emanating from him. A hint of his Skyfather-level combat power was revealed. Suppressing the rage that sought to destroy everything within him, he met Ghost Rider's gaze with an endless, sinister grin.

Boom!

This was a clash that transcended conventional power, almost a confrontation of Willpower and the Laws of the Universe!

Martin sat in the base, watching with interest as the two flaming figures battled.

"Ghost Rider is here... so Hell's forces have their eyes on me. No, it should be my ability to create countless perfect Souls that they're after."

Martin understood with just a glance. He sighed, wondering if he should kill a few famous Arch-Demons to relax.

Throughout Hell, besides The One Below All, whom he wasn't confident about, and Cyttorak, Marvel's greatest Demon residing in the Crimson Cosmos, who was quite troublesome, all other beings were fair game.

Chapter 43

Two flaming beings battled fiercely. One, over three hundred meters tall, burned with the unquenchable Eternal Flame, while the other was a noble Spirit of Vengeance, enslaved by the Demon Mephisto, burning with Hellfire.

The power unleashed by these two in an all-out battle was terrifying, and the outcome was clear.

Ghost Rider was utterly defeated. Both he and his motorcycle were chopped into pieces by the enraged Surtur.

"My ride..." Ghost Rider's flames atop his skull flickered, his voice low and somewhat angry.

"Mere trash!"

Surtur let out a deep, cold laugh, holding the Twilight Sword—one of the Nine Realms' top Divine Artifacts, comparable in scale to the Eternal Spear—and with a casual swing, he shattered Ghost Rider's motorcycle.

The entire Earth, and even the whole Solar System, fell under Surtur's terrifying aura!

When Surtur's terrifying aura spread throughout the World Tree, numerous ancient Deities and races were alarmed and utterly shocked.

"That scent of fire... is it our mortal enemy? Has he returned?"

"That fierce destroyer, no less powerful than Odin, he's actually returned? Why is Odin not reacting?!"

"Why has he appeared in Midgard..."

"All the worlds are abuzz with rumors that Odin supposedly lost to a Human from Midgard!"

Countless Intents began to spread, and many beings wore expressions of shock and tension.

This Fire Giant, at his peak, was an entity capable of fighting evenly with peak Odin. Back then, he was a mere step away from becoming the Overlord of the Nine Realms, yet he lost to Odin in their final battle, even having his Eternal Flame taken by Odin, forced to watch as Odin became the ruler of the Nine Realms.

A mere Earth, or even a simple Solar System, could not fully contain his power.

Engaging such a formidable entity, the inexperienced Ghost Rider was utterly defeated. Even with his cheat-like Penance Stare, he was powerless against Surtur. This being was simply too powerful, and his Willpower and mind were too resilient.

"Enough, my loyal servant, stop. I have some questions for this righteous knight."

Martin spoke, slowly approaching, his demeanor composed and so calm that Surtur wanted to punch him.

Surtur suppressed his inner rage, opening his mouth to say something, but Martin spoke with an air of imposing authority.

"Silence, my subordinate!"

Surtur choked on his fury, and terrifying flames shot straight into the sky, instantly breaching the atmosphere and causing immense turbulence.

Ghost Rider, his form damaged and battered, immediately turned his head upon hearing such a commanding reprimand. The flames on his skull flickered, seemingly in great excitement.

"Your being is overflowing with Sin!"

Ghost Rider said in a deep voice, his posture straightening. The Hellfire rapidly repaired his damaged form, instantly boosting his imposing presence. He immediately stepped forward, walking towards Martin.

"You sinner, look into my eyes!"

Ghost Rider seized Martin's shoulder, his hollow eye sockets staring directly into Martin's.

In that instant, the Penance Stare activated. Images of Martin's past killings and conquests flashed rapidly like a video tape, seen by Ghost Rider.

This was Ghost Rider's ability, an ability that people in his previous life called a Marvel bug!

Anyone who met Ghost Rider's Penance Stare would have all their past Sins unearthed, and then, Ghost Rider would instantly seize their Soul with his unique set of cruel punishments!

Once this Penance Stare was unleashed, let alone ordinary Superheroes or Supervillains, even Skyfather-level Gods could have their Souls ripped away if they weren't careful!

What was even more sickening was that the specific standards for what constituted a Sin for judgment, what acts were considered Sin and what weren't, were entirely at his whim...

"What terrible Sin is this?! You've directly killed hundreds of millions, and indirectly billions! Foolish Human, you shall atone for the monstrous Sins you have committed!"

Ghost Rider was astonished. He saw countless lost souls wailing miserably, reaching out to him, the righteous harbinger of vengeance against evil, for help.

He saw Martin slaughter tens of thousands of soldiers.

He saw the greedy Martin cruelly wipe out the population of an entire nation to obtain a Vibranium Mine.

He saw Martin and Odin wage war recklessly for incredibly ridiculous reasons, leading to the destruction of countless stars and the extinction of innumerable Living Planets.

This, this, this... Since he first gained memory, he had never judged such a great evildoer! This sensation, it was absolutely mesmerizing to him!!

Ghost Rider, whose nature should have been aloof and cold, trembled slightly with excitement, his flaming skeletal hands gripping Martin's shoulders tightly.

He was terrified that Martin, this great evildoer, would somehow escape.

"Human, you shall forever remain in a cage of Sin, atoning for your past."

Ghost Rider's eyes seemed to grow larger in a wavering haze, emitting a terrifying suction force that outsiders could not perceive, specifically designed to draw out the Souls of its target!

He was absolutely confident that no one, no being, could emerge unharmed after directly facing his Penance Stare!

In other words, this Human, burdened by Sin, was doomed to die!

Even a God would perish, Ghost Rider declared. Not even Mephisto himself could save him!
