Chapter 31
chapter 017 part 2
Martin glanced at it, looking at the Thor's Hammer that had completely lost its Divine Power. He shook his head and said indifferently, "I know you like this hammer, but it doesn't matter, you deserve a better weapon."
After speaking, Martin put away the shattered pieces of Thor's Hammer and quickly entered his exclusive room, immediately beginning to carefully examine the Eternal Flame.
This item was the Life Core of the Fire Giant Surtur. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it Surtur's heart, and it possessed the attribute of eternal indestructibility, capable of resurrecting the dead.
"The properties of the Eternal Flame are somewhat similar to the effects of Dark Energon Crystals... Dark Energon Crystals are the necessary Energy to turn deceased Transformers into Zombie Transformers, and this..."
Martin stroked his chin.
As is well known, Transformers also need to "eat" and "dine." If they don't eat for a long time, their internal reserve Energy will dwindle, and their Spark will also weaken. The food for Transformers is a type of Energy block called "Energon Cube." The Energy within can be easily absorbed by Transformers, and apparently, it tastes quite good...
"In the short term, I can supply Energy through my Allspark, but sooner or later, they will face the time when they need to conduct Legion operations independently. I can't always be by their side. Developing our own Energon Cubes is imperative, and this Eternal Flame..."
For a moment, Martin fell silent.
If ordinary Energon Cubes were regular food, there were also some abnormal foods – Red Energon and Dark Energon Crystals. Transformers who consumed Red Energon gained more abundant Energy, but at the cost of their Processors being interfered with, making them violent, irritable, bloodthirsty, and insane.
And Dark Energon Crystals were even more special. This substance originated directly from Unicron. Transformers who consumed Dark Energon Crystals would receive comprehensive power boosts and gain the qualification to control Zombie Transformers. Areas with Dark Energon Crystal mines would have large numbers of dead-and-resurrected Zombie Transformers wandering about. Transformers who ate Dark Energon Crystals could control these Zombie Transformers. In the original work, Megatron had done this, more than once. It could be said that whoever mastered Dark Energon Crystals would be equivalent to mastering a terrifying war Legion with incredible endurance. Think about it: after those charging warriors died, they could immediately be resurrected by the Dark Energon Crystal's radiation, returning to the battlefield in a continuous cycle.
The Eternal Flame, in turn, bore a striking resemblance to Dark Energon Crystals. Martin intended to use the Eternal Flame to pre-emptively research substitutes for Dark Energon Crystals. More importantly, he planned to forcibly devour the Eternal Flame through the Allspark, thereby gaining the ability to enslave the terrifying Surtur. This way, he would gain another immortal Skyfather-level powerhouse under his command.
"Let's proceed with the Prestige Draw first."
Martin directly tapped the Light Screen before him, watching the rapidly flashing images on it.
Finally, the screen stopped.
"It's him?"
A look of pleasant surprise appeared on Martin's face. What he needed most right now was a Transformer skilled in research, and he had directly pulled one from the Lottery Draw!

Chapter 41
This Transformer was... Ratchet!
The scientist of the Autobots Faction!
It was quite pitiful to say, but Martin finally had a really clever individual under his command, so they wouldn't just gather, put their heads together, and conclude, "Let's just do it" whenever a problem arose. Dr. Banner, who had always been merely following him, could be used, but many core secrets were not yet suitable for Banner to be involved in. Martin needed to observe him for a while longer. Truly miserable, fighting wars purely by brute force.
"Respected Creator, I hope my wisdom can bring you assistance."
Ratchet's Chassis was predominantly white, and his gaze was bright and full of wisdom.
[Ratchet]
[Autobots Legion (Medic)]
[Personality: Cautious (Error Rate -70%)]
[Height: meters]
[Energy: Four Million]
[Chassis: Healthy]
[Combat Power: Level Three]
[Motto: I'll fix what you break!]
[Evaluation: The strongest medic of the Autobots Legion, the most respected doctor and scientist. He is the best assistant, and his wisdom leans towards biological research. He can always provide the most trustworthy diagnoses regarding the physical condition of Transformers.]
Martin assessed Ratchet's data, then looked up at the large Transformer and smiled, "Welcome, Ratchet. I have a very important mission for you."
Martin directly threw the shattered pieces of Thor's Hammer onto the ground, and at the same time, tossed out the dilapidated Destroyer Armor.
"I need you to research the power of this hammer, and reshape it into a longsword suitable for Optimus Prime's use. As for this Battle Armor, research it as well. I will Audit the research results periodically." Martin said.
Ratchet paused, looking bewildered: "Respected Creator, my expertise is in biology; I truly don't know much about mechanics and mysticism... Wheeljack and Shockwave are better at this."
The doctor, who had originally planned to make a big impact, now felt troubled, and even a deep sense of helplessness and guilt. It wasn't that he wasn't trying; he wanted to try, but... he really didn't know much about mechanics and mysticism, and the results he researched would likely not satisfy Martin.
Martin chuckled, "Don't worry, Ratchet, I don't expect you to actually produce a finished product. I just hope you can get the important preliminary data sorted out. When other scientists skilled in these areas appear, they can directly conduct in-depth research based on your preliminary work.”
Ratchet let out a sigh of relief.
Martin pondered for a moment more, then, in front of Ratchet, held the Eternal Flame in one hand.
"The Life Force contained within this flame is very special..."
Ratchet quickly scanned it, his face filled with emotion. Being proficient in biology, he could instantly grasp the most crucial aspects. The allure contained within the Eternal Flame deeply captivated him.
Martin extended his other hand, and soon, a black cube slowly emerged from his flesh: The Allspark.
Martin unhesitatingly moved the Eternal Flame little by little towards the Allspark, finally pressing it down and completely merging the Eternal Flame into it.
A violent sense of repulsion occurred in an instant. From the Eternal Flame, not only did various eerie wails resound, presumably from numerous Undead, but then, a Phantom engulfed in flames roared in anger.
"Who is touching my undying flame!"
Surtur's roar of anger and shock echoed. But Martin's face remained indifferent, completely disregarding Surtur's threat. Once the Allspark assimilated this Eternal Flame, which bore a striking resemblance to a Transformer's Spark, even you, Surtur, would entirely belong to me; what is a mere threat?
Soon, the unrest that the Eternal Flame was about to unleash was powerfully suppressed by the Allspark, and rapidly devoured and fused by the Allspark.
Surtur's roars and screams grew increasingly intense, yet he was powerless, able only to watch helplessly as his Life Core became someone else's possession.
