Chapter 842

Chapter 826 Anti-Life

Mobius was a bit depressed and felt like he'd been made a fool of.

He also wanted to become the One-Above-All, but that was simply impossible. In any case, after striving for so many years in the Anti-Matter Universe, Mobius had seen no hope of becoming the One-Above-All.

Retracting his hand and turning around, Mobius sullenly flew toward the nearest universe.

"How many universes do you need?" Mobius asked slowly.

"The more, the better. You just go ahead and do your thing. Once I've collected enough, I'll be on my way. I won't disturb you."

"..."

Mobius fumed, cursing internally, *Having a guy like you around is a disturbance in itself.*

But he had no choice but to swallow his anger and do as Tony requested. He was no match for Tony at all. If he rashly resisted, Tony would really kill him...

Mobius absolutely refused to believe that Tony wasn't interested in the Anti-Life Equation.

Lie low, and you can turn the tables.

Mobius glanced coldly behind him, contemplating how many universes he would need to destroy to gain the power to turn the tables on Tony.

*If I destroy a few hundred positive matter universes, I should have enough power to overwhelm him. At that point, it wouldn't matter if I kill his main body. Even if this guy comes for revenge countless years later, I'll no longer be afraid of him.*

Mobius mused as his bloated body moved forward listlessly, his mood foul.

A universe was right before his eyes.

Mobius shot Tony a sideways glance, too lazy to conduct any thorough investigation. He directly used the Anti-Life Equation to attack this universe.

A colossal wave erupted as two diametrically opposed forces—positive and negative—collided with a roar. As the ultimate force for annihilating all life, the Anti-Life Equation was similar to the power of Death wielded by Nekron, yet there were some differences.

The Anti-Life Equation stripped away life through a method of Anti-Life, which stands in opposition to life in the conventional sense.

"So this is the Anti-Life Equation... the legendary inverse synthesis formula that integrates the profound mystery of the birth of all life forms, and it's inextricably linked to the Omega Effect..."

Tony crossed his arms, watching the scene before him thoughtfully.

Very strong.

Even if its absolute energy index was far from sufficient, the potent annihilation power it possessed could be called the natural enemy of all life. Even Tony could faintly sense a threat from the Anti-Life Equation, which was an extremely astonishing phenomenon.

"Does the calculation formula of the Anti-Life Equation... also encompass the One-Above-All? Can the power of Anti-Life affect the One-Above-All?"

Tony narrowed his eyes.

The current Anti-Life Equation wasn't that powerful, but the power that stood in direct opposition to life made even Tony feel a minute sense of discomfort. A sudden interest in the Anti-Life Equation sparked within him.

"What do you want?!" Mobius had just destroyed a tenth of this universe when a chill ran down his spine. He spun around abruptly, staring at Tony with a wary expression.

"The Anti-Life Equation has already merged with me. The equation is me, and I am the equation. I could never hand this over to you."

Mobius roared in a low voice.

From the collapsing universe, a large number of powerful natives surged out, including some of Earth's superheroes.

Piloting the Anti-Phoenix Armor, Tony Stark was the first to charge into the Blood Realm, roaring, "Who are you people! Why are you destroying our universe?"

Mobius waved his hand grimly. A beam of Anti-Life struck Tony, instantly blasting the terrifying Anti-Phoenix Armor, which contained the Phoenix Force, to smithereens.

"An unexpected gain."

Tony raised an eyebrow. Without a change in expression, he caught the Phoenix Fragment that broke free from the shattered armor, gripping it tightly so it couldn't escape.

The group of superheroes, filled with grief and indignation, also cursed and attacked like madmen, but they were like ants, easily annihilated by Mobius.

Tony could feel that every time Mobius killed a life form, he grew a bit stronger. The more powerful the life form, the more power it supplied to Mobius.

Amidst a thunderous roar, the universe wailed. Galaxies, like rocks in a landslide, shook and then crumbled into dust. Billions of lives helplessly faced the end of the world and died one after another.

Some time passed—it could have been a day, or it could have been a year. It didn't matter. In the Blood Realm, time was meaningless.

This universe completely collapsed. The most fundamental constants and parameters, harmonized for life, were instantly modified beyond recognition by the Anti-Life Equation. The entire universe toppled like a line of dominoes, rapidly falling apart.

Streams of subtle power were gathered by the Anti-Life Equation and completely absorbed by Mobius. His power grew stronger once again.

Tony couldn't help but stroke his chin, carefully sizing up the wary Mobius, pondering when he might get a chance to study the Anti-Life Equation...

As for the countless lives just destroyed by Mobius... Tony really didn't pay them much mind. The one thing the multiverse didn't lack was life. Besides, Tony had clearly seen a parallel universe split off from this one right before Mobius enveloped it with the equation.

In that parallel universe, a more or less identical story was playing out, and the myriad lives within had not the slightest inkling. This was the magic of the multiverse.

"To be honest, I've actually become interested in the Anti-Life Equation. I'd really like to study it," Tony said nonchalantly.

Mobius sneered, "Ridiculous. There's no one in this world who isn't interested in the Anti-Life Equation. You can find a better excuse to make a move."

Though he said that, Mobius's entire body was tense, wrought with nervousness. He had made up his mind: if Tony really decided to strike, he would recklessly send a distress signal to the entire Monitor race.

Either way, he would lose the equation. At least seeking help from his own kind could save his life.

With the super-technology of the Monitor race, they could pilot a super-warship from beyond the Source Wall and arrive in the multiverse in an instant.

"Fine, don't believe me..." Tony was speechless. With one hand, he suppressed the restless Phoenix Fragment, while the other slowly opened. Like a world unto itself, in an instant, a terrifying amount of matter and residual energy was drawn in. The remnants of an entire universe were gathered by Tony.

"Before this, I really had no plans to snatch that thing. It's too much trouble. Besides, I was just a little interested; I didn't intend to make a move."

Tony said flatly, "Continue. You go destroy more universes, and I'll collect the matter you don't want."

As for the Anti-Life Equation... fundamentally, Tony estimated that it might have some effect on him, a One-Above-All life form, but its lethality wouldn't be as terrifying as it was against the lives of the multiverse.

Perhaps only after being pieced together with the Omega Effect into its complete form could the Anti-Life Equation bring about extreme destruction to the One-Above-All.
