Chapter 825: Are You Kidding Me?
The vast Blood Realm, a forbidden zone for those below Level Seven, a backyard playground for those at Level Eight.
Mobius had been lying low for a long time, playing it extremely safe.
As a Universe was quietly annihilated, vanishing without a sound into the vast Blood Realm, Mobius furtively emerged. His bloated body trembled, his overburdened Armor emitting a harsh hum, accompanied by a surge in Mobius's power.
"The Anti-Life Equation... what a marvelous thing."
Mobius was extremely satisfied.
Each time he used the Anti-Life Equation to destroy a Universe, Mobius would gain a massive amount of Power. The equation would feed back to him an increase so significant that even someone as powerful as Mobius was astonished.
He was very content with his current life.
Ever since the Blackest Night, Mobius had done nothing but lay low here in the Blood Realm, waiting for opportunities to pick targets, then swiftly destroying Universes to obtain Power.
This was already the third Universe he had destroyed. The explosive growth in his strength was very gratifying, leaving Mobius incredibly excited.
"As expected, destruction is the true way to use the Anti-Life Equation. Sooner or later, I will become even stronger. One day, I will become a supreme God. By then, forget about that puny Tony, even Darkseid will be no match for me! I will seize all of their divine artifacts!"
Mobius calculated: Tony's Allspark, Darkseid's Omega Effect, plus the four Mother Boxes... By then, even in the Sphere of the Gods, where the Old Gods gather, he, Mobius, would be considered a truly formidable figure.
Mobius stared at the countless little Black Spheres floating in the Blood Realm, his gaze burning with fervor.
"Excellent. All of this is fuel for my growth," Mobius nodded in satisfaction.
"Excellent indeed. All of this is the fuel I need," Tony's voice suddenly interjected as he nodded in satisfaction.
Mobius spun around abruptly. The rock-like face behind his helm twisted into a sinister grin as a beam of light blasted viciously toward Tony. The power of Anti-Life, carrying a terrifying lethality for any Positive Matter Life Form, surged violently at Tony.
This Anti-Life Light, when it was still dozens of centimeters from Tony's body, seemed to hit a powerful, invisible field. It exploded on the spot, scattering in all directions.
The potent Anti-Life energy was now incapable of breaching the energy field around Tony's body.
"You've gotten stronger again... Multiversal Level. But how is that possible..." Mobius slowly lowered his hand, his expression horrifyingly grim. A deep sense of dread filled his eyes.
It had happened again. Just like before.
Every single time he saw Tony, the guy's power would have skyrocketed. His speed of growth was actually more rapid than his own, even with the Anti-Life Equation.
"It seems the Blackest Night provided you with the key to transcending the Single Entity Level."
Mobius stared at Tony, his tone laced with anger and resentment. As he looked at Tony, an emotion he couldn't suppress arose in his heart: jealousy.
Mobius had obtained the divine artifact, the Anti-Life Equation, long ago. Yet, just to adapt his body to bear the equation, he had spent a massive amount of time. After successfully integrating it into his body, he had to act with extreme caution, not daring to make any rash moves...
But in that same period, Tony had already completed the entire process from birth, to Singularity, to Deification. By the time Mobius finally took advantage of the chaos caused by the Blackest Night to make his move, Tony had directly ascended to a Level Eight Singular God, standing shoulder to shoulder with countless Elder Gods, leaving the proud and ambitious Mobius far behind in his dust.
"I'm more willing to take risks than you are, more daring in seizing scarce opportunities from countless Crises. These are things you lack. It's perfectly normal that you can't compare to me." Tony stood quietly in the Blood Realm, sizing up Mobius, whose power had also taken a leap forward.
"Still within the scope of the Single Entity Level. If you want to become a Level Eight God, you still have a long way to go," Tony commented.
"How did you find me? I've been hiding carefully," Mobius asked.
Tony casually pointed in one direction, where countless small Black Spheres were floating in the Blood Realm, and said, "In that direction, there's a Living Universe monitoring you. You haven't left my sight since the last time we parted."
Damn it!
Mobius cursed under his breath. The face beneath his helm grew even more sullen. He abruptly raised his hand and blasted a wide-area wave of Anti-Life power in the direction Tony had pointed. With a slight tremor in the Blood Realm's space-time, a massive amount of Anti-Life surged toward countless universes, frantically battering against the barriers of those Universes.
"Ha, I just remembered. I got it wrong. It's that direction."
Tony chuckled and pointed in another direction.
Without a word, Mobius ceased his futile actions.
Just moments ago, he had been thinking about finding that damned Living Universe. That cunning, feign-death-specializing Living Universe was truly detestable. If he didn't destroy it, Tony would always be able to track his whereabouts.
"As long as I've pinpointed your location, my Pocket Universe can monitor you from an extremely remote distance. Don't forget, I'm a Level Eight God now. Naturally, my Pocket Universe's surveillance range has also seen a massive boost. You could work yourself to death and you still wouldn't find it," Tony said nonchalantly.
"Are you here to steal the Anti-Life Equation?" Mobius snorted.
"No, I'm here to cooperate with you. More accurately, I need your help."
Tony leisurely gazed at the Universe Mobius had just destroyed. He reached out from afar and grabbed, pulling over some residual Matter that hadn't yet been destroyed by the Blood Realm's energy.
"You destroy the Universe, and I'll collect the Matter and Energy you don't want... Don't look at me like that. Rest assured, there's no conspiracy here. I won't interfere with you, nor will I ambush you while you're absorbing a Positive Matter Universe. You should know, as you are now, you're no match for me..." Tony said lightly.
Mobius fell silent, quickly weighing the pros and cons in his mind.
"The method you use to control your Pocket Universe. Teach it to me," Mobius said.
"Deal."
Tony clapped his hands and nodded solemnly.
Mobius solemnly extended a hand toward Tony.
Tony cautiously looked left and right, as if to prevent anyone from eavesdropping, then said in a low voice:
"First, find a Cancerverse. Second, within the Cancerverse, achieve the ascension from a Multiversal to a Singular life form, and infect the Cancerverse with the Light of Singularity. Third, separate a sliver of your godhead and mix it into the Cancerverse's Collective Consciousness. Fourth, a Living Universe under your control will appear, and you will possess a Universe Clone similar to the First Firmament."
Mobius listened intently. The more he listened, the more he retracted his hand, until finally, he looked at Tony with a profoundly meaningful gaze.
"If I had the ability to become a Singular God, why the fuck would I be here listening to you?" Mobius cursed in a suppressed voice.
