Chapter 770

"Still not back… looks like he's really dead, tsk tsk."

Tony sighed.

He saw The Flash return to Central City, the guy even deliberately slowed down to show off his yellow Speed Force arcs.

But the Reverse-Flash was nowhere to be seen.

Who would have thought the outcome would be so dramatic?

The Reverse-Flash had used cunning schemes to urge The Flash to travel to the past, causing him to be wiped from existence for touching the timeline. He had unprecedentedly killed his archenemy, The Flash.

But in the end, he still hadn't won, because a more terrifying Barry Allen had arrived. He naturally took the place of the Prime Universe Barry and easily crushed the Reverse-Flash.

What a tragedy.

In the end, the Reverse-Flash still didn't win. Evil killed Justice, only to be killed by an even more terrifying evil. If some editor were to draw such an unappealing story ending, it would probably drive away a large number of readers.

"Let's see how long you can keep up this disguise..." Tony sneered.

Batman was a Sly Old Fox who was wary of everyone and everything. He could even draw up complete contingency plans against his own wife and son, let alone an Ability User like The Flash. He probably had thousands of counter-plans prepared—whether they were useful or not was another matter.

Savitar would definitely be exposed; it was just a matter of how long he could fool the other founding members of the Justice League.

Moreover, if Tony wasn't mistaken, the death of the Prime Universe's The Flash was definitely beyond Savitar's expectations. Originally, the Prime Universe's The Flash was supposed to be a part of Savitar's plan.

However, this had nothing to do with Tony. What he needed to do now was to observe quietly and see how he could make a huge profit when the time came.

But for now, his main task was to wait for the arrival of the Blackest Night. This was very important to Tony.

"Level Eight..."

Tony murmured in a low voice.

Before reaching Level Eight, his hands were tied in everything he did. The gap between the Single Entity Level and the Multiversal Level was too vast. Although Tony seemed to be thriving now, he was ultimately still hiding in the Prime Universe, afraid to make a move.

Did he not want to roam the Multiverse freely? Did he not want to have a satisfying, unrestrained bloody battle with a powerful enemy? Did he really think Tony was willing to turtle up in the Prime Universe and not move at all?

But without reaching Level Eight, one had no right to wander the Multiverse. It was very easy to get killed.

"Speaking of which, that guy Starscream has been gone for several years. I wonder how he's doing..."

This thought suddenly surfaced in Tony's mind, and he muttered to himself. He knew Starscream's greedy nature better than anyone.

A greedy Starscream must be very appealing to the Orange Lantern Ring…

...

Starscream was indeed very conflicted.

He had been wandering the Universe for so long that his steel body was almost rusty, covered in the dust of his travels.

Following the highest directive from Cybertron, Starscream secretly left the Decepticons and had been tracking the Controllers.

The Controllers and the Guardians of Oa were both from Maltus, but they went their separate ways after the Volthoom incident, disappearing into the vast Universe.

Starscream's mission was to find these damn Controllers, monitor their progress in researching the Orange Lantern Ring, and then seize it at the right moment.

The Orange Lantern of Avarice... Starscream felt this thing suited him perfectly, and Tony had said the same.

"It should be soon. These damn guys are about to finish researching the Orange Lantern Ring..." Starscream said in a low voice.

The Sinestro Corps' attack on Oa had ended in a disastrous failure. Starscream, wandering the Universe, was of course aware of this. In fact, he maintained the authority to regularly exchange information with Cybertron. He was well aware of the Major Events happening in the Universe.

Besides, Starscream himself wasn't deaf. Having wandered the Universe for so long, he inevitably had channels to receive information from the Outside World.

As soon as the Sinestro War began, Starscream knew that the Blackest Night was imminent, a matter of a year or two. A great sense of urgency rose within him.

Tony had promised him that as long as he could get the Orange Lantern Ring, he would be allowed to form the Orange Lantern Corps.

"I will definitely become the Leader of the Orange Lantern Corps!" Starscream's red electronic eyes flashed with a hint of greed and desire. "When that happens, I really want to see the look on that bastard Megatron's face! Maybe I'll even have a chance to become the head of the Decepticons~"

He only dared to entertain such fantasies in his mind. If he were to really fight Megatron... against the Power of two Infinity Stones, Starscream was not very confident.

Suddenly, Starscream's body crouched slightly, cautiously hiding behind a huge boulder. He observed the Controllers up ahead, their faint conversation drifting over:

"It's about time..."

"Our progress is already behind schedule. We can't wait any longer..."

"Avarice is a treasure..."

A group of Controllers walked into a facility with cold expressions.

Starscream stared, his face full of greed.

But it was obvious that Starscream was far from the only one with his eyes on the Orange Lantern Ring. Another equally greedy fellow had heard the news and had also traveled a great distance to be here.

"I, Larfleeze, must get the Orange Lantern Ring and dominate this Universe!"

A peculiar humanoid creature with a stocky torso but long, slender limbs surreptitiously arrived in the Controllers' territory.

Larfleeze was a somewhat famous Interstellar thief who had committed all sorts of atrocities across the Universe. Not long ago, Sinestro's Yellow Lantern Corps had caused a huge stir, and Factions of all sizes across the Universe had received the news. Larfleeze had also heard a little about it.

The Yellow Lantern Ring and the Green Lantern Ring had already appeared, and there were rumors that other Lantern Rings existed, but they had not yet emerged.

The greedy and cunning Larfleeze felt that he had found a shortcut to the top. He immediately set off in search of the Maltusians and finally tracked them down.

"I, Larfleeze, have survived in this Universe for so many tens of thousands of years. The petty squabbles of these Guardians can't be hidden from me!"

Larfleeze puffed out his severely disproportionate chest. The hair on his head, which more closely resembled a broom, trembled slightly as he shook his head back and forth.

Larfleeze's race had long lifespans; a life of several tens of millions of years was commonplace.

His tall yet awkward body stood erect, and he scanned his surroundings with a self-satisfied expression as if inspecting his own domain. Larfleeze already considered this planet his territory.

That was until his eyes met Starscream's, and his expression suddenly froze. The next second, like a startled rooster scalded by boiling water, he leaped up and shrieked, "Who the fuck are you?"

Starscream's face darkened. "Where did you, you ugly bastard, come from? Entering my territory without permission? Scram now, or I'll kill you!"

Larfleeze flew into a rage, his face flushing red with anger.

The great Interstellar thief Larfleeze was actually called an ugly bastard???

Alright, he was, in fact, an ugly bastard. This wasn't just by an Earthling's aesthetic standards; even by the standards of his own race, Larfleeze was an ugly freak.

But the two of them were destined not to have the time to settle the score, because a third party had intervened.
