Chapter 680

Darkseid had several descendants, one of whom was a daughter named Grail. She was born from the union of one of his clones and an Amazon from the Main Universe.

Because of this, Grail's mother was judged a traitor by Themyscira, subjected to a brutal pursuit, and almost died many times.

However, as an excellent warrior, Grail's mother ultimately survived and gave birth to Grail. From the moment Grail was born, her mother instilled in her the concept of "killing Darkseid."

Grail was Darkseid's biological daughter, but she was also a fanatic willing to sacrifice everything to kill him.

She possessed a humanoid form, with blood-red, pupil-less eyes, faintly exuding a hellish, magma-like scent that made one's heart pound.

Grail roamed the Multiverse, constantly searching for powerful warriors capable of killing Darkseid.

"Where could it be..."

Grail frowned slightly, standing silently in the Blood Realm, enduring the weakening and attacks of the surrounding viscous energy as she sensed for a direction.

She attempted to locate the New Gods' secret stronghold, but it proved too difficult; every time she felt close to success, reality would slap her in the face.

Grail gradually lost her patience. She was never good-tempered to begin with; the tyranny and bloodlust inherited from Darkseid frequently challenged her sanity.

Suddenly, an unsettling aura emanated from the depths of the Blood Realm.

It was like a monster bursting into a flock of sheep, throwing the entire previously peaceful world into chaos.

"Darkseid..."

Grail's expression changed, her gaze turning sinister. Fierce killing intent and hatred shone from her red eyes.

"I'm going to the Main Universe. That's Tony's base camp. I need to talk to him; he's the most likely person to kill Darkseid."

Grail fixed on a direction and moved swiftly. As for the suffocating sensation emanating from the depths of the Blood Realm, she had no desire to even glance at it, knowing it could easily lead to death.

...

A clone of the Dark Tyrant finally arrived at Tony's location. His striding steps, his hulking, rock-like grey body, moved like a giant ship in the ocean. Wherever he walked, the dangerous Blood Realm energy was torn apart by immense force, splitting into two.

No trace of emotional fluctuation could be seen in Darkseid's pale red pupils, only endless coldness and indifference. In his eyes, everything in the Multiverse meant nothing.

Ahead, the Mother Box, which originally belonged to him, was spreading a restless sensation, guiding Darkseid's way.

With a bang, Darkseid's punch tore through a vast expanse of Blood Realm energy. Dozens of unlucky universes were destroyed, and Darkseid's nightmarish figure, exuding despair and deathly silence, finally descended before Tony.

The entire Blood Realm began to stir, faintly rioting, emitting unease and triggering more chain reactions.

Tony stood silently in place, occupying a small area, his expression unchanging.

"Strictly speaking, this is our first meeting."

Tony said faintly.

"But for me, you've already greeted me many times."

Darkseid's voice was unexpectedly deep. He said coldly, "Ancient Doomsday was once, the inferior Celestial test subject was once, and you causing me to lose a son was another time. All of this has caused me a great deal of trouble."

"I know." Tony nodded. "Steppenwolf told me you were beaten badly by Doomsday and incurred Eternity's wrath."

A ripple clearly appeared in Darkseid's eyes, though it couldn't be described as rage or hatred. Such minor matters were not enough to move this tyrant who had ruled Apokolips for countless years.

Darkseid's physique was far less terrifying than Galactus', generally a bit taller than a base form Hulk, but his renown and combat power far surpassed both Galactus and Hulk.

The wielder of the Omega Effect, the terrifying Dark Tyrant Darkseid, even in the Sphere of the Gods where powerhouses gathered, few were willing to offend this rampaging individual. When passing by Apokolips' realm, they would rather take a wide detour to avoid him.

"Join my Apokolips, and I will grant you the usage rights to the Mother Box. The Mother Box will belong solely to you. I never lie."

Darkseid said slowly.

That was true; Darkseid disdained such vile acts as breaking promises. He was a terrifyingly arrogant individual.

"Steppenwolf told me the same thing. Do you think it's possible?"

Tony caressed the somewhat restless Mother Box. The Mother Box clearly behaved differently when facing Darkseid. If Tony hadn't firmly controlled fifty percent of its authority, the Mother Box would have long since kicked Tony aside and defected to Darkseid.

"Nothing is impossible. Many ignorant fools view the One-Above-All as a miracle, a miracle that should be worshipped, but the One-Above-All is ultimately a life form, and it too has desires and greed."

Darkseid rarely spoke this much. Any other time, he would have impatiently smashed his talkative enemy with a single punch.

"My desires, my greed, you cannot give me," Tony said quietly.

"I can give you other things."

Darkseid suddenly sneered.

"Such as?"

"Such as your life!"

Darkseid moved abruptly. The entire Blood Realm trembled for an instant, and before the aftershocks could spread, Darkseid's demon god-like figure appeared before Tony. A massive fist slammed down with a crash, brewing destructive fluctuations capable of annihilating numerous universes.

No single universe could withstand Darkseid's strike.

This was the terrifying power of a level eight tier being; with a single body, they could contend against an infinitely proliferating Multiverse. At this tier, power itself became more of a conceptual entity.

Bang!

Tony lightly tapped the Mother Box. The Mother Box rapidly unfolded, and a thin barrier blocked Darkseid's attack. The trembling aftershocks spread outwards along the barrier, and who knew how many universes would be destroyed years later.

"I originally thought we could resolve this without bloodshed, for instance, by giving you one Mother Box and me keeping three," Tony said faintly.

"Wherever I appear, blood must inevitably flow. There is no problem in this world that can be solved without bloodshed."

Darkseid's expression was indifferent, his eyes remaining calm, as if the seemingly effortless attack just now hadn't been delivered by him.

Darkseid said coldly, "Compared to something like the Mother Box, I am more interested in you. Either join Apokolips, or die!"

Tony stood behind the barrier, unhurriedly unfurling the Mother Box. The complete version of the Mother Box slowly opened in Tony's hand; very few things in this world could compare to the Mother Box in terms of intricate design.

"That's a shame, but your opponent isn't me." Tony slowly opened the interior space of the Mother Box, and a furious roar emerged.
