Chapter 246: Tony's Endless Legion!
Author: Great Demon Spirit
"It's fine. You screwed me over, so I'm getting you back." Tony said with a grin, pointing to his own thick head of hair. "I haven't forgotten for a second how you screwed me over that day."
That time, Tony's head had been shaved bald. It was a tragic sight.
Quicksilver immediately deflated, muttering, "So petty."
Tony offered a word of comfort, then grabbed the Scarlet Witch, who was trying to leave. His arm was like a steel bar, making it impossible for her to break free.
An indignant Wanda widened her eyes in anger. "You...!"
"Magik, also known as Liana, what's she like? Besides Colossus, you're the only one here who knows her well and is also naturally gifted with magic," Tony asked in a low voice, his expression dead serious.
Was it fate that they got along so well? In the normal timeline, after ruling over Hell's Border, Magik finally found a way to leave, traveled to Earth, found Colossus, and joined the X-Men to fight the Dark Lord Dormammu.
So, logically, Liana, the queen, and Wanda, who was also born with an incredible sensitivity to Magic Power, were destined to get along extremely well and have a very close relationship.
Perhaps it was because they both possessed a magic-type X-Gene?
"She's a really good person. Besides, how did you know her nickname is Magik? She just gave it to herself." Wanda was suspicious, but then it dawned on her. Pointing at Tony, she shrieked, "You were eavesdropping on us! You scoundrel!"
Tony's eyelid twitched violently. With a dark expression, he looked at the onlookers who were pointing and whispering, and then at the gloomy, cold gaze of Old Man Magneto.
Speaking of which, Old Man Magneto had been thoroughly tricked by him and, in front of the whole world, beaten up by the Diana that Tony had brought over. That score had yet to be settled.
Professor X sat in his wheelchair, surrounded by Jean, Ororo, Wolverine, and the others. They watched Magneto and the members of the Brotherhood of Mutants warily.
Many of them were old acquaintances.
For instance, Sabretooth, Victor, was cackling strangely at Wolverine. At this point, Logan had lost his memory after being shot in the head with an Adamantium bullet by Colonel Stryker. Although he felt that Victor looked somewhat familiar, he just couldn't recall who he was.
"Do we know each other?" Logan asked, looking puzzled.
Sabretooth held out a hand with long fingernails, a dangerous smile on his face. "No, no, we don't know each other. It's a pleasure to meet you for the first time. I'm Victor."
Wolverine's brow furrowed. "My name is Logan."
Sabretooth and Wolverine, brothers who had a love-hate relationship spanning over a century, met again in this manner on Hell's Border.
Professor X was also catching up with Magneto. "Erik, is this your new look?"
Professor X's tone was filled with immense teasing. Decades ago, when the two of them joined forces to fight for the interests of Mutants, he would always joke with Magneto.
"Shut up, Charles. Your mouth is as annoying as ever," Magneto, who was in a foul mood, snapped at Professor X.
Deep within his eyes, there was a hint of nostalgia.
How long had it been since they'd bantered like this? Too long. So long that he himself had forgotten.
"Do you really believe that story of Tony's?" Magneto asked.
"At least he has no reason to lie to me. Didn't you see it too? That figure up ahead is the Sorcerer Supreme from the mystic world," Professor X said, turning his wheelchair and pointing to the small figure in front of them.
Both he and Magneto felt a suffocating pressure every time they looked at that figure.
This wasn't an illusion. It was a genuine warning from their sixth sense, a sign of absolute suppression from a higher Life Tier.
This time, the Ancient One did not restrain her aura. Every time she wielded her magic, a colossal energy would roar furiously like a raging sea, like a tempestuous ocean. Its world-destroying power was enough to make every single person there tremble.
Here, aside from Tony and the Magic Legion from Kamar-Taj, the organization that knew the most about the Ancient One was S.P.E.A.R.
Having been neighbors for over a thousand years, especially after unearthing some fragmented texts left by the Immortals who had departed Earth, and adding in the cryptic legends that occasionally spread from K'un-Lun, their knowledge of the one residing in the Himalayan Mountains was not detailed, but they maintained a fundamental respect for her.
This, in fact, was their first formal meeting.
Tony slowly brought himself to his peak condition, then stood up and gestured to Wong. Following the plan they had discussed beforehand, Wong activated the completed Teleportation Array, opening a giant Portal.
A deafening roar suddenly erupted. On the other side of the giant Portal, a terrifying and boundless Mechanical Legion—so vast in number that it was stupefying and made one's scalp tingle—marched in perfect formation, swiftly charging through the Portal into Hell's Border.
"These numbers are just too absurd..." someone muttered, their eyes glazed over.
He wasn't the only one left dumbfounded; everyone was.
Through the hundred-meter-tall Portal, countless Transformers swarmed out, gleaming with a terrifying and savage metallic luster. They moved with astonishing speed, and upon entering this space, immediately found their positions and formed up in perfect ranks.
The Legion poured endlessly from the Portal, an overwhelming stream emerging from what seemed to be a bottomless pit. What was most shocking and astonishing was that despite their terrifying numbers, they moved like pre-programmed robots, forming dense and perfectly orderly ranks.
When such vast numbers were combined with perfect order, the resulting scene—as cold and methodical as a computer program—was truly breathtaking.
Their heavy footsteps and the light shining from their silent electronic eyes spoke volumes about the horror of this Terror Corps. With but a single thought from Tony, this Legion would instantly transform into the most fearsome Slaughter Legion, sweeping away all enemies in his path!
Their numbers were terrifying!
It was like an iron ocean covering the world!
Or even an Endless Legion capable of annihilating the universe!
"This is your War Legion?" Wanda, who was closest to Tony, murmured with her mouth agape, her alluring red lips slightly parted. "These numbers are terrifying. Just how many have you prepared...?"
Tony floated in the air, propelled by countless Spark Energy Particles moving at high speed beneath his feet. He precisely controlled every minute movement of each Transformer, his entire brain working at top speed.
Floating high in the air with his arms outstretched, he resembled a Deity. Beneath him, the endless Iron Army poured forth like a flood, exuding a terrifying, cold glint. The savage weapons mounted on the iron soldiers were enough to send a chill down anyone's spine.
"How many?"
Hearing Wanda's words, Tony replied casually, not giving it much thought, "This is just the vanguard. I haven't counted the exact number, I only have a rough estimate. There are probably..."
"Thirty million!"
