Chapter 185

Chapter 183: Megatron (3)

October 19, 2022 Author: Great Demon Spirit

tony spent more than ten days researching Type II metal, making some progress.

tony knew that the metallic organic bodies of the Cybertronians couldn't all be made from Adamantium or Vibranium.

Even Wolverine had cartilage in his metallic skeleton. Although the Transformers' life forms differed from carbon-based life, some principles remained the same.

If only super-advanced alloys were used, what would be used for the connective tissues? Take a leg, for example: would it consist of two Adamantium bones, one acting as the femur and the other as the tibia, with holes pre-drilled during fabrication to be screwed together?

And then periodically add some lubricant?

Imagine this: in the future, when Cybertron wages war, on a tense cosmic battlefield where armies numbering in the tens of millions gather, the hawkish leader, the thirty-meter-tall Megatron, would lead the charge, majestic and awe-inspiring, roaring, "You just wait! After I add lubricant to the Decepticon Legion's legs, I'll finish you off!"

The scene was too "beautiful" to imagine.

tony could almost see the Cybertronians cursing and grumbling about him, their creator.

"To combine different elements, this involves precise manipulation at the microscopic level... that's a standard only achievable at Level Four. I can only reference the elemental structure of secondary Adamantium for now, then upgrade the Type I metal... But as the new Type I metal's hardness increases, its regenerative ability will inevitably decrease."

In the laboratory on the thirteenth basement level, tony's hands were slightly raised. Not far from him, in a deep trench, a large amount of strange, unknown liquid metal was slowly rolling as if it were alive.

Every time tony waved his hands, large amounts of the liquid metal would float up into the air. Guided by his will and the Allspark's immense computational power, he conducted research on microscopic combinations by integrating a vast amount of knowledge.

But he was repeatedly met with setbacks.

The precise control over every single atom and molecule was something that could only be achieved after gaining self-awareness of one's own abilities. Just as only someone at Level Five was qualified to manipulate atoms in all aspects, directly reassembling matter on the spot from a pile of meaningless atoms into a complete whole.

After a moment of thought, tony shook his head, letting out a wry laugh.

"I've been too greedy, wanting to give all the Transformers Adamantium-level defenses... How could that be possible?"

Even for secondary Adamantium, the manufacturing difficulty was astonishingly high, and the demand for raw materials was like a bottomless pit. Every piece of Adamantium also required a great deal of time to be processed and set, with a complex and tedious procedure.

It wasn't impossible to mass-produce the organic bodies of Transformers with Adamantium, but this would drastically reduce the growth rate of Cybertronian population.

In this dangerous universe, where even inter-universe warfare might become commonplace in the future, a civilization severely lacking in population would find it difficult to go very far.

tony slowly lowered his hands, and the controlled liquid metal gradually descended, merging back into the trench and mixing with the other liquids.

The research on Type II metal required more experiments and data, and more importantly, an increase in his own power level.

As tony's gaze shifted, at the other end of the spacious laboratory, a half-finished high-tech fighter jet lay dormant like a terrifying giant beast.

Although the jet was only half-finished, with some of its internal weaponry still visible, this couldn't conceal the fierce aura it emanated.

Unlike Optimus Prime, Megatron leaned more towards the vicious and tyrannical side. By design, Megatron possessed a colder and more brutal heart than Optimus Prime, and was also more domineering and suspicious.

In the endless, cruel wars to come, Megatron would undoubtedly be the main force for external expansion.

"A hardline hawkish leader, domineering and ruthless. Compared to a body with stronger regeneration, he needs an indestructible one, better suited for leading the charge and slaughtering external enemies."

tony muttered to himself. Soon, he would learn the secrets of the soul. The Sorcerer Supreme remembered him, which was a good thing. No matter how difficult the process, he had to learn the secrets of the soul and the method to create them.

No matter how difficult the process.

tony spread his arms, and countless Allspark energy particles erupted outwards, blanketing the entire basement. A large number of particles particularly swarmed the trenches, causing the various, slightly different liquids to float into the air under tony's control before slowly mixing together.

At the microscopic level, tony was modifying their original elements, reassembling their atomic structures to create a new Type I metal.

The fighter jet, controlled by tony, began to merge with these metals. It was coated little by little, with useless materials being directly repelled and discarded, leaving only the most essential parts.

Time passed bit by bit. tony was deeply focused, observing the jet's changes with his full concentration.

tony had long since understood the construction of the world's top fighter jets. After the battle in Wakanda, in particular, he had completely copied and learned the structural principles of the Wakandan spaceships.

Before the Allspark, so-called metal structures, construction principles, and confidential technologies held no secrets. As long as a single Allspark particle touched any part of an enemy's spaceship, tony would gain complete insight into that part's elements and structure.

"My research on Type II metal has hit a wall, and I'm currently struggling with animating secondary Adamantium. But all of this will be overcome in the future."

An unprecedented high-tech fighter jet expanded and became complete at a speed visible to the naked eye. Menacing barbs on its fuselage would make one's blood run cold. Its grand and ferocious design, far from making the jet seem bloated or redundant, instead added an indescribable air of malevolence.

No one would doubt that once this behemoth took flight, it would be a killing machine unlike any seen before.

Finally, tony looked on with satisfaction. With a wave of his hand, he placed a mark on the jet's body.

It was a mark resembling a human face, looking like a simple sketch at first glance, drawn with just a few strokes. But this very sketch-like symbol would one day strike terror into the hearts of countless enemies and cause innumerable brilliant civilizations to be destroyed in the flames of war.

The meaning of this symbol was: Decepticon.

The jet's wings abruptly retracted, then suddenly folded upwards. Its body began to break apart as countless, innumerable parts started to assemble and combine, gradually shifting towards a humanoid form.

*Kaka-ka.*

The sounds were dense and rapid. Its body contained hundreds of thousands of parts, making it the most complex Transformer tony had created so far.

A massive figure, monochrome and steel-colored all over, slowly stood up like a prehistoric beast. In its eyes, red light radiated an oncoming wave of tyranny.

Megatron!
