Chapter 908 Entering the Tower of Fate and Klarion the Witch Boy

This crisp sound was all too familiar to everyone present; it was the sound of a Key inserting into a Lock Cylinder.

Zatanna's Corner of Mouth lifted slightly, and as her Right Hand turned gently, another sound followed closely.

"Click!"

After the sound, everyone felt the Space in front of them begin to blur, but this Phenomenon did not last long. Soon, a touch of Golden Energy was mixed into the originally illusory Space.

The distorted Golden Energy particles gradually condensed into an Entity, and soon the prototype of a Tower appeared before everyone's Eyes.

Robin looked down at the Time displayed on the Microcomputer on his Wrist and found that from the Time Zatanna inserted the Key to the Tower appearing before them, only about two or three Seconds had passed, but he felt that at least a minute had passed.

"Everyone, this is the Tower of Fate." Zatanna turned around and opened her Arms, as if introducing her Treasure to everyone.

This was a Tower that looked very old to the naked Eye, with wide bricks and a simple Design, clearly a product of hundreds or thousands of years ago.

The Tower was not very tall, estimated to be only about ten meters high. It was hard to imagine that this Building not only served as the Secret Base of the Superheroes, but also had to bear the burden of a Human's Living Area and a Warehouse for various Magic Item Equipment.

"How is it, Kid Flash? Do you still think Magic is non-existent now?"

Faced with Zatanna's Question, Kid Flash naturally chose to forcibly explain it with Science.

"This is nothing great, just some Optical Camouflage Technology. I think that Key should be a Remote Control. As long as you press the Button on it, the Optical Camouflage will disappear."

Faced with the stubborn Kid Flash, Zatanna knew that she was asking for trouble. She gave up the Idea of changing Wally's Thoughts and turned to push open the Stone Door.

Surprisingly, the Stone Door, which was more than two meters high, was unexpectedly light. Zatanna's thin Arm and Leg could easily push it open. When the Stone Door was fully opened, everyone could see the Full Appearance inside.

Entering their Eyes was a wide Corridor, with a luxurious Red Carpet inlaid with gold threads on the Ground. On both sides of the Red Carpet, at intervals, stood Oil Lamps as tall as a Human, with weak Sparks constantly jumping at the top.

People couldn't help but wonder how such small Sparks could illuminate such a large Space so brightly. According to the Extent of these Sparks, even if hundreds or thousands of lamps were placed, it would be impossible to achieve this level of brightness.

However, the fact was that the Room was as bright as if the Electric Light was turned on.

"Let's go."

Zatanna nodded to everyone, and then took the lead to walk into the Tower of Fate. The few people behind her exchanged glances before following Zatanna into the Stone Door.

When Habby, the last one, stepped on the Red Carpet, the Stone Door behind him seemed to sense something and closed at a constant speed, leaving only a lonely ancient Tower standing in the Open Area.

But not long after, a cloud of Black Fog suddenly appeared not far from the Tower. Accompanied by the cool night Wind, the Black Fog gradually dissipated, revealing three Figures with different postures.

Standing on the left was a middle-aged Male wearing a bare-chested white Shirt and with a small Cable-Pigtails. From his clothes, one could tell that this was a very flamboyant Human.

In contrast, on the right stood a boy with a strange hairstyle. His Skin was frighteningly white, making people think of Legendary Vampires and Ghosts.

Equally impressive was the Tiger-Striped Cat in the boy's Hand. This Cat actually had a pair of blood-red Eyes, which was very strange.

Standing in the middle was an Old Man wearing a well-tailored suit, restrained by Shackles, but even with such Action-restricting Things, the Old Man's posture was still straight.

"No matter what you don't want us to know, we can always find a Method, old thing."

Klarion the Witch Boy mocked Kent Nelson beside him.

"These kids won't think that the Thing Kent Nelson tried so hard to protect is actually being delivered to us by them."

Faced with Klarion's mockery, Kent Nelson was not annoyed, but smiled indifferently.

"To say 'old thing', this description is obviously more suitable for you. My Age is not even a Tip of the Iceberg compared to you old Monster who likes to play young."

"You can only be Verbally tough now." Klarion snorted coldly. "When I get the Helm of Nabu, this World will become my Amusement Park."

After speaking, Klarion wanted to find a trace of panic on Kent Nelson's Face, but the latter's weathered Face did not have a trace of the Emotion the former wanted to see.

"Hmph! Let's go."

Klarion walked towards the Stone Door first, holding the Cat. When the Chaos Lord approached the Tower of Fate, this high Tower representing Order naturally produced a strong Resistance.

The Space around the ancient Tower was like Lake water into which Pebbles had been thrown, setting off bursts of Ripple. Ripples mixed with Golden Energy began to launch an impact towards Klarion.

"Tricks!" Klarion's originally handsome Face became distorted, and scarlet Foul air steamed up from his body, instantly dispersing the layers of Golden Energy Ripple.

After the Protection mechanism was dispersed, Klarion released the Right Hand that had been stroking the Kitty and gently pushed open the Stone Door in front of him.

Abra Kadabra, who was responsible for escorting Kent Nelson, also came up at this Time. Seeing his current Master display Divine Might, he couldn't help but offer Compliment.

"I see that Nabu is nothing more than this, completely vulnerable in front of Master."

"I like your Compliment, but Nabu is not an opponent to be underestimated."

Although Klarion said so Verbally, he still accepted the Compliment with a smile, and then led the two into the Tower of Fate.

Time rewinds slightly, back to when the Young Justice League walked into the Tower of Fate.

"Everyone, be careful."

Zatanna waited until the Stone Door closed before turning around and said to her Teammates behind her.

"The Tower of Fate is a set of ancient Magic Item. It has a long history and possesses very Powerful Power itself. At the same Time, countless Magic Item are collected inside. If you touch them rashly, very Dangerous Things may happen."

Zatanna raised an Index Finger and said very seriously: "Please be sure to be careful. If you see anything strange, be sure to call me. Wait until I have confirmed that there is no Danger before proceeding to the next step."

"Got it." Robin nodded. "So Captain, what should we do now?"

Zatanna was stunned when she heard this, pointing at herself in disbelief and asked, "Captain? Me?"

"Of course." Robin spread his Hands. "Is there anyone here who knows this Tower better than you? I'm not the kind of person who is arbitrary. In a Domain that I don't understand, of course I have to listen to the Words of professionals."

"Cough cough!" Zatanna cleared her throat and said with a slightly raised Corner of Mouth.

"Okay then, next you must obediently listen to the Captain's Words. First of all, we have to find the 'Echo' left by Kent Nelson."
