Just when Katie was still in a daze, the gate of the warehouse slowly opened amidst a burst of exciting music.
Then she saw a scene that made her even more bewildered.
“Hello Mrs. Yang.”
Standing inside the warehouse, Gwenpool greeted Gwen outside the door. The latter was about to respond but was made to blush by the inexplicable address.
“Okay, Poole!” Gwen gritted her teeth. “Don’t waste time on such meaningless jokes.”
“You’re the boss.” Gwenpool bowed, then stepped aside. “What are you waiting for, beautiful lady? Hot cocoa is ready inside.”
Gwen just glared at the clowning Gwenpool and pulled the dazed Katie into the warehouse. Gwenpool then noticed another human hidden behind Gwen.
“This is?” Gwenpool pushed her non-existent glasses, and after carefully identifying her, she raised her voice.
“Heavens! It’s Shadowcat Kitty!”
Still in a daze, Katie was startled by the sudden sound. When she recovered, Gwenpool was already standing in her presence with a huge autograph book.
“Can I have an autograph? Write ‘To Gwenpool from Shadowcat Kitty’.”
“Ah, okay, okay…” Katie blankly took the paper and pen, and then blankly wrote down what Gwenpool had just said in the notebook.
“WOW!” Gwenpool held up the autograph book and exclaimed like SpongeBob SquarePants.
“No!” Katie suddenly woke up, and because she was too shocked, her sound even echoed in the warehouse.
“What’s wrong, Katie?” Gwen seemed to come here often, and she already had two bottles of juice in her hand at some point. Judging from the water droplets and frost on them, they should have just been taken out of the refrigerator.
“Here, I thought you and Poole were getting along well, what’s wrong? Did she bully you?”
Gwen handed a bottle of juice to Katie and continued, “Hope you don’t mind, Poole is always more lively, but she doesn’t have any malicious intent.”
“It’s not this problem, Gwen!” Katie looked very helpless. “There are two Gwens here! One you! One her!”
As Katie spoke, she pointed a finger at Gwen and Gwenpool. Gwenpool waved her hand at Katie when she was pointed at, as if to say hello.
“You mean this.” Gwen awkwardly put the juice aside. “It’s a bit of trouble to explain, just think of Poole as another me.”
“Classic parallel universe, isn’t it?” Gwenpool threw her autograph book out like a Frisbee. “The favorite of the science fiction genre, just apply it to things that can’t be explained.”
The autograph book slammed onto the shelf with a thud, and its accuracy was so high that people couldn’t help but applaud her.
“You didn’t even throw it in, Poole.” Gwen looked at Gwenpool, who was striking a curtain call gesture, with black lines all over her head.
“What were those bubbles that just appeared?” Katie asked.
“You can understand it as Poole’s superpower, just like your phasing and my spider-powers.”
Gwen shot out a web and pulled the autograph book that had fallen on the ground into her hand. She casually flipped through a few pages and found that there were already many names she didn’t recognize on it.
“You’ve added a lot of humans again, Poole. It seems you’ve been very busy recently.”
“Of course, it’s because I’m so special. The protagonist is always a little busy.”
Gwenpool proudly puffed out her chest. Being needed by her favorite character and being able to continue her multiverse adventures, Gwenpool is very satisfied with her current life.
Moreover, even Yang Le cannot easily do the work she is doing now, doesn’t this prove that she is born unique?
As expected, transmigrants are born protagonists!
Gwen sighed and shook her head helplessly. If you ignore the occasional clowning and those words that are hard to understand, Gwenpool is a very good friend, but if you count these, it’s very tiring to get along with her.
Pinching the autograph book with two fingers, Gwen casually flicked it without looking, and the autograph book landed accurately on the shelf like a Frisbee. This time it was real.
“Just like I told you before Poole, we may have to trouble you for a while, of course, if you can contact Happy, we can leave early.”
“Don’t say such polite words.” Gwenpool spread out her hands and put her arms around both Gwen and Katie. She said while hugging them.
“I’ve been looking forward to it ever since your message came. I’ve prepared a series of plans. We’re going to watch superhero movies together, then tokusatsu movies, and finally horror movies, screaming like classic white people little girls.”
“At the same time, while watching movies, we can also eat some high-calorie food that we usually don’t dare to eat without guilt. You know, it’s called relaxation day, but it doesn’t matter, because we are virtual characters, so as long as the author is not an idiot, we will never get fat!”
‘What the thing is she talking about?’ Katie’s brain was in a mush. She knew every word Gwenpool said, but she couldn’t understand them when put together.
Katie looked at Gwen but found that the latter gave her a helpless gaze, obviously she didn’t understand what Gwenpool was saying either.
“We can’t relax, Poole.” Gwen broke free from Gwenpool’s embrace. “The world outside is very chaotic now. I need to train Katie to be able to skillfully use her power to prevent unexpected situations.”
“Superpower training! Great!” Gwenpool’s eyes lit up. “Guess what? I am the most knowledgeable person about superpowers in the entire Marvel Universe.”
Gwenpool spread out her hands and began to gesticulate non-stop while still saying, “No one! Knows superpowers! Better than me!”
“That’s great.” Gwen seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. “I was worried about not knowing how to teach Katie. It’s really great if you know the details in this area.”
Looking at the two humans who were almost identical in presence, who had decided her fate like this, Katie could only show a relieved smile.
“Without further ado.” Gwenpool hopped towards an object covered with cloth. “Let’s start the first class training now.”
After saying that, Gwenpool also walked to the presence of the object. She stretched out her hand and tore off the layer of cloth. The two of them could then see clearly what thing was being covered.
It was an automatic pitching machine, but it was painted with a layer of pink paint and decorated with some ribbons, making it look a little cuter.
“First class, death ball dodge!” Gwenpool licked her lips, looking at Katie who was already frightened and stunned.
“Get ready, it hurts a lot to get hit.”
