Chapter 414 Final Battle
Since the Lost Amazon Tribe occupied Paradise Island, it seems that not only the people, but the entire Island became slaves. Only today, when Diana returned to Paradise Island and fought her way back, did it finally regain its vitality.
The conspicuous Diana attracted not only Philippus and her group of Amazons, but also most of the other Amazons who were either imprisoned or enslaved noticed the performance of their Tribal Princess.
This undoubtedly cheered up those Amazons. The sound of Diana clashing her Golden Bracelets was like a battle horn being blown. The Amazons responded one after another, using everything they could reach to launch a counterattack against the enemy.
Chains, hoes, pitchforks, and even fists and teeth. They would not let their Princess fight alone. Although they were exhausted at this time, they would at least clear obstacles for their Princess.
Queen against Queen, general against general. Hippolyta is dead, so Diana is the nominal first heir of Paradise Island and the new Queen. Then her opponent should rightfully be the other Queen.
Diana looked at another guard blocking her path, and patiently prepared to use her Golden Bracelets again. But she heard rapid hoofbeats coming from behind. Thinking enemies were catching up, she immediately turned around to check, only to find that it was a cavalry unit, and the one leading was Philippus.
"Princess!" Philippus stood up on her war horse, forcefully pushed off with her legs and jumped towards Diana's front. In the process of leaping, she also drew the standard sword of the Lost Amazon Tribe and slashed down without explanation.
"Whoosh!"
After a sharp sound of air being torn, a Lost Amazonian fell to the ground. The other Amazons riding war horses also caught up at this time.
"Although I would very much like to express my joy, now is clearly not the time for reminiscing." Philippus and the other Amazons formed a formation, protecting Diana behind them.
"We are here, Princess, please continue forward."
"Thank you, Philippus." Diana did not waste time, leaping over the crowd and continuing to run towards the Royal Palace.
"Listen up, Amazonian Sisters!" Philippus shouted loudly. "Guard the rear for our Princess!"
The response was deafening for a time.
…
Not only Philippus, but with the help of all the Amazons who had escaped, Diana finally got rid of the guards' pursuit and interception, and arrived at the front of the Royal Palace unimpeded all the way.
Quickly defeating the guards at the doorway, Diana finally entered the Amazon Royal Palace, which was incredibly familiar to her, but now everything was different. Walking into the Throne Room, she saw Troy, who was already fully armed, at first glance.
"I must commend you," Troy slowly walked down from the Throne. "As a down-and-out dog, you still have the courage to come back and cause such a big commotion. I have to say, you are indeed capable."
"Where is Circe?" Diana ignored Troy's mockery, and pressed for the whereabouts of the culprit of all this.
Troy's gaze went past Diana, looking outside the Royal Palace. At this moment, the entire Paradise Island was boiling, and a riot for freedom was underway.
"I said long ago that those disobedient Amazonians should be killed," Troy said with disgust.
Hearing Troy say this, Diana's eyebrows immediately shot up, but after closing her eyes and taking a few deep breaths, Diana's expression returned to peaceful once again.
"To be honest, before coming here, I hadn't been able to completely let go, but now I finally understand," Diana reopened her eyes, her gaze as firm as a knife.
Troy did not speak, just tilted her head, as if not understanding what Diana was talking about?
"You cannot be my mother," Diana assumed a fighting gesture. "She loved her subjects very much. A Queen could never say such words. It's laughable that I only understand this now."
"What exactly are you talking about?" Troy revealed a trace of doubt.
"I'll explain it to you slowly after I defeat you." Having figured everything out, Diana looked relaxed, and the Valkyrie who was once indomitable had returned.
"Bang!"
As soon as the words fell, Diana had already rushed in front of Troy. Such speed made Troy feel shocked. Diana's current speed far exceeded her speed during their first fight. If Troy's spirit had not been extremely focused, she would not have been able to block this first attack.
Looking at Troy, who was facing a formidable enemy, Diana gradually increased the power in her hand. Troy, who was resisting with both arms, was actually suppressed by Diana with just one hand.
"This is impossible!" Troy said laboriously.
"Nothing is impossible." Diana pressed down hard, and Troy immediately knelt on one knee on the ground. The ground wailed and countless cracks appeared.
"I am Diana! The Princess of the Amazon, the child of Zeus! The Goddess of Agriculture Demeter bestowed upon me power no less than Hercules's!"
Diana gave up applying pressure, withdrew her arm, and took advantage of the moment Troy lost strength to kick her out. Not only that, she herself even caught up with the flying Troy just by running.
"The God Hermes bestowed upon me speed!"
Surpassing the flying Troy, Diana punched Troy into the ground again. The magnificent Royal Palace began to shake, almost collapsing due to this punch.
Before the splashing dust had settled, the disheveled Troy had already climbed up from the ground, drew the Sword of Hephaestus she had snatched from Diana, and slashed at its original master.
Facing this sword that cuts through everything, Diana did not waver at all, leisurely dodging Troy's several attacks. Slashes and thrusts, Troy couldn't touch Diana even once.
"The Goddess of Hunting Artemis bestowed upon me super senses. Your movements in my eyes are full of weakness, just like a child who just picked up a sword."
As Diana spoke, she took the lead and grabbed Troy's right hand holding the sword. With a flip of her wrist, she snatched the Sword of Hephaestus, and then kicked out again, sending Troy flying out once more.
Flourishing the sword, Diana casually threw the Sword of Hephaestus in her hand. The sword completely sank into the ground, leaving only the hilt exposed outside.
Having discarded the Divine Weapon forged by Hephaestus, Diana drew the sword Yang Le had forged for her with her backhand. Although this sword is currently not comparable to the Sword of Hephaestus that can cut atoms, Diana wanted to use it more at this time.
"Stand up!" Diana pointed the sword tip at Troy. "Don't let the blood on your body be shamed."
Troy did not speak, panting heavily as she climbed up from the ground, and tremblingly drew another sword from behind her, the sword Circe had prepared for her.
"I'll ask one last time, where is Circe?" Diana asked sternly.
Troy got into a stance and said, "Don't even think about it."
Seeing Troy stubbornly resist, Diana had no method but to prepare to take her down and then think of other methods.
