Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 22

【Personality: Mechanical Thinking (Strategic Planning +40%)】

【Height: 10 meters】

【Energy: 7 million】

【Chassis: Healthy】

【Combat Power: Level Three】

【Motto: Your answer is quite logical.】

【Evaluation: The chief scientist of the Decepticon Army, and also Megatron's most trusted assistant, an existence even more mysterious than Soundwave. He doesn't even have a 'Faceplate' in the normal sense. He can use his System to collect cosmic rays like X-rays, the Electromagnetic Spectrum, and infrared, but the cost is constant, drastic energy consumption, forcing him to carry a reactor for energy replenishment year-round.】

A figure, no smaller than Megatron, slowly emerged, a reactor perpetually strapped to its back, its head simply a hexagonal monitor-shaped device.

This was Shockwave, the true second-in-command of the Decepticons. Even the cunning and deceitful Starscream usually had to yield to Shockwave.

In the comics, he was one of the few who could fight Megatron one-on-one and still emerge unscathed. After Megatron's departure, he loyally managed Cybertron for Megatron for 9 million years, ensuring the Decepticons' high-pressure rule over Cybertron.

This guy's leadership and strategic planning abilities were in no way inferior to his scientific research talent!

"Shockwave, welcome. I need you and Ratchet to team up and research something." Martin ordered without ceremony.

"Glad to be of service, but a joint research effort won't be necessary. Ratchet is better suited as a frontline medic, not my assistant; he would only be in the way."

Shockwave rotated his camera-like head, flashing an eerie red light.

Don't misunderstand, he wasn't being disrespectful to Martin. This was just how he was; he always thought with cold Mechanical Thinking, selecting the lowest-cost, highest-return solution.

"Your answer is quite logical" was his favorite phrase. As long as it was self-consistent, no matter how absurd, after meticulous analysis, Shockwave would temporarily suppress his internal doubts and turn to seek the truth himself.

This was also what Starscream feared most about Shockwave; he found it difficult to find the true Robot's weakness, and even harder to discuss anything outside of logic with a Transformer that thought like a machine.

The task Martin gave Shockwave was to reforge Thor's Hammer, transforming it into a Greatsword!

Optimus Prime needed a useful weapon.

As for Ratchet, unfortunately, his specialty was biology, and he was completely clueless about mystical matters. Although his scientific research talent and progress still far exceeded ordinary people, it depended on who he was compared to.

Shockwave, however, was different.

Martin stood with his hands behind his back, watching Shockwave's receding figure.

"It's time to go see poor Thor. After being imprisoned by me for so long, I wonder if he's gone mad or simply foolish."

Martin strolled towards the prison.

In fact, Thor's condition was worse than he had imagined. His golden hair was covered in dust, and he completely lacked his former world-shattering charisma; even his arrogance was gone.

"Thor, your father would surely be disappointed to see you like this."

Martin said indifferently.

Thor slowly raised his head, his eyes vacant, until he saw Martin, at which point an etched-in-bone hatred emerged: "It's you... you destroyed my Thor's Hammer, you defeated my father, Odin..."

"A correction," Martin said, waving his hand dismissively. "Thor's Hammer hasn't belonged to you for a long time. What right do you, a Thor who can't even lift Thor's Hammer, have to accuse me?"

"As for Odin being defeated by me, that's a matter between him and me. You've already been exiled by Odin and will be a Mortal for the rest of your life, so it has little to do with Odin."

"Oh, and another piece of news... Asgard is on the verge of destruction."

Martin suddenly let out a malicious laugh.

Chapter 51

Odin was not on Asgard, but immediately after his defeat, he swiftly rushed to Nidavellir and found the Dwarf King.

Swish!

Odin, radiating a twilight aura, threw the Spear of Eternity onto the ground, his voice hoarse: "I need a more powerful Divine Artifact, one even stronger than the Spear of Eternity!"

The Dwarf King stared at Odin with a look of shock, especially at the deep weariness and Aura of Death on his wrinkled face. He opened his mouth, then ultimately fell silent.

He, too, knew of Odin's defeat. This news had caused a massive tremor throughout the Nine Realms. No one had expected the mighty Odin to actually fail, and to an Earthling at that.

"How much longer do you have to live?"

The Dwarf King paused, then asked in a low voice.

The dense Aura of Death emanating from Odin was almost palpable. Was this being, who had been so arrogant in his youth and dominated the Nine Realms for millions of years, finally reaching the end of his life?

It seemed the trauma the Earthling inflicted upon Odin was more severe than anyone had imagined!

"I can at least hold on until the new weapon is born. Asgard reached its most glorious peak in my hands, and I will not allow Asgard to decline in my hands either!" Odin said hoarsely.

For this, he made a decision that could only be described as insane.

The Dwarf King looked at him, remained silent for a long moment, then said in a low voice: "If you insist, I will grant your wish — to melt down the Spear of Eternity, gather more Uru metal, and forge the most powerful weapon!"

The Dwarf King immediately looked behind him. Large numbers of Dwarves exchanged glances, took a deep breath, and immediately went to activate Nidavellir's most precious forge.

A shackled neutron star!

The Dwarf King picked up the Spear of Eternity, gave Odin one last deep look, then turned and threw the Spear of Eternity into the forge, watching it slowly melt under the neutron star, which was specially crafted and constructed with Magic and Divine Power.

"What kind of weapon do you want? Still a spear?" the Dwarf King asked.

Odin closed his eyes wearily: "Just follow the weapon design we conceived long ago... Stormbreaker."

The Dwarf King's movements paused, his expression serious.
