Chapter 109

chapter 070 part 2

They finally realized what astonishing potential a terrifying character like Martin possessed.

"Congratulations, Martin, you saved this world."

Death stood in Martin's way, covering her mouth with a light chuckle.

Martin glanced at her and said calmly, "When Chthon appeared just now, I didn't see you, the Cosmic Creator, come out to help me share the burden. Now that the war is over, what are you jumping out for?"

"Chthon came for you and your subordinates." Death cackled.

"You know he came for me, so what are you congratulating me for? Now get lost!"

Martin's gaze shifted as he coldly stared at Death, this little bitch.

Death's expression shifted slightly. The disguise on her face completely dissipated, revealing an extremely cold and savage countenance; this was her true appearance.

"You have already obtained Destiny, becoming the one chosen by Destiny for this era. For a very long time from now on, the entire Universe will favor you." Death let out a cold snort.

Martin, expressionless, took a step, directly shaking off Death and returning to Cybertron.

Death stood silently in place, her expression indifferent.

"Are you really going to acknowledge his Destiny?" Eternity appeared, asking in a low voice.

"Of course, it's easy to acknowledge. But how long his Destiny can last, that's another question..."

Death suddenly chuckled softly again, filled with deep malice.

Chapter 137

Martin returned to Cybertron, radiating a Deity-like glow, bathed in the respect of countless subjects.

"Welcome back, The Creator."

The many Transformers were patiently waiting for Martin.

Wanda's entire body was tense as she asked anxiously, "You won, right? You completely defeated that Demon?"

Martin gazed deeply at Wanda, then nodded slightly and said, "I did win. Half of Chthon's power was shattered by me, and he still has to face the enemies he made over the long years. He no longer has the energy or ability to deal with me."

It was just a pity that he couldn't kill Chthon in one go; that was his biggest regret.

Wanda's body swayed. After suddenly letting out a sigh of relief, she completely relaxed, staring blankly at the calm-faced Martin, who seemed to have casually defeated an insignificant fellow.

Finally, the nightmare that had plagued her gradually faded away. To be able to directly cripple this terrifying Demon God—the one who could achieve this was surprisingly not those noble Cosmic Gods, but a Human like Martin.

A Human had done something even a God had never done.

"Convene the planet's high-level personnel. Hold a meeting. I need to see Cybertron's next overall plan. You must formulate an extremely detailed proposal, especially concerning the climbing of the Technology Tree."

Martin ordered.

Everyone seriously agreed and left one after another.

Martin also hurriedly left the spot. He had more important things to do and was completely uninterested in dealing with trivial matters, leaving all such tasks to his subordinates.

His current state was quite poor; not only did he need to spend some time recuperating, but there was also an even more important matter: to re-examine the power he currently possessed.

"The Infinity Stones are almost completely shattered, no longer able to be powerfully used; they are as good as ruined. The Magnetic Gauntlet is also ruined..."

Martin walked into his great hall. With a casual lift of his hand, the tens of tons heavy Vibranium gate slowly closed with a boom, blocking everything outside and leaving Martin a space where he could quietly think.

The first thing Martin did was look at the Infinity Stones. He hesitated for a moment, then cautiously removed each of the crack-covered Infinity Stones from the Magnetic Gauntlet. With just a slight test, Martin knew that all six gems were ruined.

Among them, the six Infinity Stones of Power, Time, Space, Mind, and Reality had long since fallen into a state of collapse, possessing less than one ten-thousandth of the power of a complete Infinity Stone. If forcibly activated again, they would shatter on the spot.

What concerned Martin even more was the Soul Gem.

Martin held the crack-covered orange Soul Gem, examining it carefully for a moment, then let out a cold laugh.

"Now you know how to play dead? Do you remember what I told you back then? When you fall into my hands, you will definitely pay a painful price. This is the consequence of you opposing me."

The Soul Gem still had no reaction. It looked as if its internal willpower had collapsed from being overloaded by Martin.

Martin gazed for a moment, a deep cold sneer appearing on his face.

The Soul Gem's willpower would not collapse, because it contained a vast Soul World within it!

Martin directly extended his finger, viciously pointing at the Soul Gem. Without a doubt, if directly touched by Martin, it, already at its limit, would be instantly destroyed.

The next moment, a piercing orange light suddenly erupted, enveloping Martin.

Immediately after, a Soul Portal opened to Martin.

This was a special world, one that did not exist in Space-Time as understood by ordinary people, specifically designed to carry souls.

Martin looked around and saw many figures moving about and conversing. They were not all people from Earth; many were life forms from other civilizations in the Universe.

He also saw Gamora.

"Aren't you surprised at all?"

Gamora walked towards him, saying lightly.

"Even if you were the master of this world, I wouldn't be surprised, because you hold no value to surprise me."

Martin said indifferently.

In the comics, Gamora was indeed the master of the Soul World within the Soul Gem. But what did that matter? Was it important? This couldn't stop his heart, full of malice towards the Soul Gem, in the slightest.

"The Soul Gem indeed originally chose Thanos, because at that time, Thanos was the future of this Universe. If not for your strong rise, the countless futures of this Universe would have all been filled by Thanos. He was supposed to have everything in the future, save this world, and perpetuate the life of this Universe. This was something inscribed upon the very foundation of the Universe; it was bound to happen."
