Chapter 108

chapter 070 part 1

A series of terrible buzzing sounds erupted, reverberating through countless worlds.

A beast-like roar erupted.

This was immediately followed by an endless disintegration. That terrifying power, capable of overturning the Multiverse, now began to dissipate little by little, powerlessly scattering throughout the boundless cosmos.

Rip!

Martin's figure burst out from the center of the vortex like a sharp sword. At this moment, he was already at his limit; both his soul and body had reached the brink of collapse, ready to fall apart at any moment.

Nevertheless, this aggressive action was worth it.

"You lost, Chthon. Accept your destiny."

Martin sneered, acting nonchalant, while raising his right hand. The light from the six Infinity Stones on it had also dimmed somewhat.

Martin looked at Chthon. Slowly, after silently activating the last second of the Matrix of Leadership's Authority, he snapped his fingers.

Chapter 136

Snap!

A soft, crisp sound, seemingly just an ordinary snap, yet in an instant, it enveloped everything.

The world seemed to fall into stagnation. In a daze, it felt as if it had undergone countless reorganizations and reshapes.

An indescribable terror swept over everything. The numerous Deities who were watching all revealed their shock; that mixture of six powers, along with others they had never encountered, were all buried within this one Snap.

Everything was enveloped.

When the lingering effects dissipated, that strike, which encompassed almost all Domains, accompanied by a massive and terrifying impact, had already torn Chthon apart where the light faded.

That endless Black Magic dissipated freely, drifting into countless Universes. And that wasn't all; even a portion of the power of Chaos had been shattered by Martin and flung into the boundless Multiverse.

One could imagine that, in the future, a group of lucky individuals would become "Children of Destiny," accidentally acquiring these scattered powers, and instantly achieving Ascension to Godhood, becoming another wave of rapidly rising legends.

"How can this be, you insectoid, how could you defeat me, the great God of Dark Magic..."

Chthon roared in disbelief. Even though most of his own being had been shattered by a single Snap from Martin, he couldn't care less about that now. He gazed at Martin, filled with shock and furious indignation.

He had lost.

He had been directly crushed in a one-on-one battle by a native from a Single Universe, a lowly Human.

"I said from the very beginning that, in my eyes, you are the species born low and vile. Even if you are high and mighty, you merely stand there waiting to be buried by me. In my eyes, from the start, you were nothing more than a trash creature worse than an Insectoid."

Martin lowered his head, looking at his almost destroyed right hand, and the six Infinity Stones that had delivered this overloaded strike due to forced activation. For a moment, he fell silent.

The six Infinity Stones were covered in hideous and terrifying cracks. With just a light touch, they would shatter with a *bang*.

In order to unleash this Snap, these six Infinity Stones were already spent.

Even the Magnetic Gauntlet was sparking at this moment; its internal Technology Tree had completely collapsed. To repair this gauntlet would require a very high cost.

But it was worth it. Even if it meant sacrificing six Infinity Stones, the Magnetic Gauntlet, and the last Authority to use the Matrix of Leadership, it was still worth it.

He had directly defeated the terrifying Multiverse Demon God.

"I will return... You'd best stay alive, waiting for me to seek my revenge..."

Chthon's giant form began to dissipate little by little, rapidly collapsing like sand. His venomous gaze fell upon Martin as he spoke in a low voice. Immediately after, his final core whistled away into the distance.

He escaped, fleeing in disarray, carrying his last half of power.

*Rumble!*

Faintly, in the depths of the Multiverse, another series of terrifying sounds erupted. White light flashed and spread out. Clearly, some great existence had seized the opportunity to attack the greatly weakened Chthon.

However, these things no longer concerned Martin.

"Hmph, unfortunately, I still lacked the means to deliver a fatal blow, allowing this Insectoid to escape..."

Martin's expression was indifferent. He took a deep breath, slowly withdrawing the power of the Allspark. His Life Level, which had been forcibly elevated, now began to fall little by little. With each drop, Martin's own bodily functions, along with his soul, would weaken by a degree.

But this painful price was worth it.

He had defeated Chthon. It was foreseeable that for hundreds of millions of years in the future, Chthon would be unable to recover to his peak. With this much time, Martin was confident enough to grow strong.

By the time they met again, Martin had absolute certainty that he would completely blast Chthon to death!

His gaze crossed the edge of the Universe, surpassing the boundaries of a Single Universe. That breathtaking scenery he observed during his fleeting glimpse outwards while standing at the Multiverse-tier level was a memory he could never forget in his lifetime.

It was truly breathtakingly beautiful, with countless worlds existing and innumerable Deities standing tall.

The Infinite Multiverse was the truly grand battlefield.

Martin gazed for a moment, constantly adjusting his state. Finally, he stabilized his vital signs. The Allspark within him began to slowly replenish life and psychic power, simultaneously repairing itself and, as in the past, causing Martin's Life Level to evolve little by little.

This process was not fast, but its strength lay in its stability. It wouldn't leave him greatly weakened and exhausted, unlike when he desperately boosted his power to contend with Chthon just now.

Everything fell into silence.

Martin calmly turned around, took a step, and returned to the Universe behind him.

On his right-hand gauntlet, the six Infinity Stones emitted a faint light, subtly echoing with the Core Laws of this Universe. However, for now, they did not appear to have any possibility of recovery.

These six gems were completely broken, having collapsed on a fundamental level.

Martin stood in the starry Universe. Looking around, everything seemed infinitely peaceful. Planets were revolving, and stars emitted light. Yet, only Martin and the Cosmic Gods knew that this Universe had long since been destroyed countless times, only to be repaired again and again.

Gazes converged, all focusing on Martin. The Cosmic Gods' expressions were complex; in their eyes, there was more awe and... recognition than they had ever shown before.
