Chapter 337

Chapter 340: The Two Major Forces in the Forest

After secretly glancing at Phoenix with disdain, I returned to the Tent, only to witness a Dumbfounded scene—that Little Ghost, of all people, was stuffing Meat Skewers into her mouth in huge bites, finishing one skewer in just a couple of mouthfuls. I had no idea how that beautiful little mouth, like cherry blossoms, could fit so much. Not only that, but with her other hand, she was grabbing other Meat Skewers and throwing them to Light Snow and the others, looking exactly like a boss eating Meat while the underlings drank Soup, putting on quite the Air.

Three-No Princess wasn't eating slowly either, chewing in small bites, but with a frequency astonishingly high, like a Chick pecking rice. And while eating, she was also fiddling with some small movements. What left me most speechless was that Dead Dog, oh, that Dead Dog, it actually dragged away all the Meat Skewers I had painstakingly Roasted, hid alone in the Corner, and started eating unhurriedly.

Roar! You dare ignore me, the Head of the Family? All of you, die! I roared like a tiger and charged forward, grabbing the last few surviving Meat Skewers and gulping them down in large bites. Then my Gaze fell upon Little Ghost's Body. Seeing me look over, she quickly bit the Meat Skewers into her mouth in a couple of bites, her cheeks puffed out greatly, and she whimpered with teary Eyes, unable to speak. She looked hateful, pitiful, and yet adorable.

Did you think that would ensure your Safety? I chuckled, pulled Little Ghost's soft Body into my arms, and kissed her greasy little mouth deeply. Then I used my tongue to roll the Meat inside out bit by bit, mixing it with her cool, sweet bodily fluid. The Scent became even richer.

Muffled sounds~~

Little Ghost, her mouth too busy, could only watch helplessly as the Food in her mouth was invaded. Finally, steeling her heart, she simply wrapped her arms tightly around my neck, extended her own little fragrant tongue, and began fighting me for the little Food left in my mouth. A sensual Food war began.

Haha, want to Give it a Try and see whose tongue Skill is better? Don't you know who I am? Let me tell you, Little Squirt, I am... I am... Huh? Why is there nothing in my mouth?

When I came back to my senses, feeling smug, I realized there was nothing in my mouth except Little Ghost's wet, fragrant, and soft little tongue still playfully intertwined with mine. Had I swallowed it without realizing? That's not right! Looking at Little Ghost's smiling, Content/Satisfied silver Eyes so close to me, I had a sudden Realization—I had lost.

How could a Human tongue be as soft and flexible as a Ghost's (completely unfounded)? So, it's not embarrassing to lose, right? Everyone must think so too...

My stomach was still rumbling. I simply pushed Little Ghost onto the ground, pinned her down, and continued kissing her deeply...

Since I couldn't eat Meat, I'll just eat you, Little Squirt.

Oh, and Three-No Princess, who is inexperienced, is right beside us. Is this kind of R-rated show appropriate? I thought about it and decided that for Three-No Princess, who could openly recite Erotic Books on the Street, this current Extent was simply child's play. As long as it didn't get too real, there shouldn't be a problem.

So I relaxed. I focused on teasing Little Ghost beneath me. Of course, boundaries were necessary. Not to mention Three-No Princess was nearby, Light Snow and the Dead Dog were also in the Surroundings. Even though they were just Animals, I wasn't open-minded enough yet to engage in overly intimate "communication" with Little Ghost in front of them.

It took a while to finally let go of Little Ghost. At this moment, she was completely aroused, her silver Eyes looking at me were veiled with mist, and her lovely, delicate face was full of alluring passion.

No, if I keep playing, things will get out of hand. I took a deep breath to regain my Calmness. At this point, I needed to divert. Yes, divert, shift the carnal desire to appetite. I sat up from Little Ghost's boneless Body and swept my sharp Gaze around, immediately spotting the Dead Dog gorging itself in the Corner.

You golden-furred Small Animal, how dare you eat the Crocodile Meat I painstakingly Roasted...

At this, my Anger and appetite erupted simultaneously. I darted forward in a couple of steps, snatched the Meat Skewers that hadn't been defiled by it yet, and swallowed them down in a couple of bites.

Gaa—oh—gaa—oh—

Seeing its Food snatched away, the Dead Dog's entire golden curly fur trembled, and its Rabbit Ears even stood up in anger.

Leona: Hmph... hmph... You've got guts. As the first lowly Human who dared to snatch Food from the mouth of our Dragon Race, this Princess truly admires your courage. Therefore, I will be merciful this time and leave you a complete corpse. Hmph hmph~~

Just as I was carefully chewing out the full Scent of every piece of Roasted Meat in my mouth, my calf suddenly hurt. I looked down and saw, well, this stupid Dead Dog! It ate so much of my Roasted Meat, and I didn't even settle the score with it, yet now it's acting like the victim and complaining first.

"Hmph... hmph... You've got guts. As the first stupid Dead Dog who dared to bite me, Lord Druid Wu Fan, this Lord truly admires your courage. Therefore, I will be merciful this time and tie your soft, long ears into a Bowknot. Hmph hmph~~"

And so, the man and the Dog (or Dragon?), whose Way of Thinking was Exactly Alike, started wrestling in the Corner...

"Idiot..."

Marissa's lips moved slightly as she applied the freshly ground Powder onto the Roasted Meat Skewers.

"Oh oh, Little Molly, did you make this specially for me? Or do you just dote on me?" Holding the Dead Dog, whose ears were tied into a beautiful Bowknot and who was struggling like a doll Dog Princess, my Eyes lit up as I looked at the Meat Skewers in Marissa's hand.

"No." Three-No Princess shook her head and walked out of the Tent with the Meat Skewers.

Is it for Phoenix? I knew our Little Molly was still a child with Kindness at heart. However, giving the Meat Skewers I thought were for me to someone else, I, as the Master, felt a little disappointed.

Soon after, Phoenix's tearful cheers of gratitude came from outside, and then Three-No Princess returned from outside the Tent. Her face was still expressionless, but from some subtle movements, I concluded that her scheming mode was fully active.

Huh?

Sitting by the Campfire, Three-No Princess picked up a Small Branch and slowly broke it off section by section, as if calculating something. When the last section was thrown onto the Underground, Phoenix's Voice suddenly came from outside.

"Oh ho... Queen Your Maj... Your Majesty... Please... please whip me harder... Harder... harder. Oh ho... I'm being... being stepped on... No... don't... don't do that... Please don't stop... Oh... (endless groans)"

"Time, just right. Experiment, perfect!" Three-No Princess indifferently made some Records nearby.

...

I was really too foolish and naive to think she was a girl with Kindness. Speaking of which, Phoenix's current Illusion Act is quite interesting to me. If I could go in, and if I had a camcorder... I wonder how much Money I could sell the recording for...

Light Snow 's Body was undoubtedly the best Pillow and Bed Sheet. Curled up, she was like a big, fluffy Cradle. After Phoenix's Voice stopped, I lay inside contentedly, and Little Ghost also snuggled up.

"Xiao Fan, Xiao Fan. I want to sleep with you too, okay? Meow~~" Saying this, she leaned on my Body and began to Act Spoiled.

No, even if you Act Spoiled like this, I still... No. I should say, even if you don't Act Spoiled, I can't Resist your cute Expression! Damn it, how can a silly Ghost be so cute? It's practically cheating!

"Aren't you going back into the Necklace? Where's Little Mermaid?" I hugged her close and kissed her. The two of us snuggled together warmly.

"She's sleeping. She sleeps even more than I do."

Little Ghost curled up in my arms and murmured. Soon after, she began breathing evenly. Her adorable sleeping face would make it impossible for anyone to have the heart to wake her up.

Speaking of this Little Mermaid, I'm truly impressed. She and Little Ghost are practically a match made in heaven. Even in terms of sleepiness, they are Exactly Alike. In fact, she sleeps even more than Little Ghost. Out of 24 hours a day, she sleeps for at least [missing number] hours. No wonder people rarely see Mermaids. I think this must be a big reason.

But this is good too. Because I can't let her out when other people are around, and I also worry if she'll feel bored staying in the "Fish Tank" for a long time. Her sleeping all day like this saves me a lot of worry.

Thinking this, my Gaze fell upon Three-No Princess beside the Campfire. When I had just lain down, she had also spread out her Quilt and lay down, sleeping alone. Her small Back View looked lonely and quite pitiful.

Just then, under my 'seeing a ghost' Gaze, Three-No Princess's Body started rolling and rolling. It rolled off the Mat she was lying on, onto the ground, made a big circle around the Campfire, and then rolled onto Light Snow 's Body, finally rolling into my arms.

If she was already asleep, that's truly a fierce sleeping posture! Holding her small Body that had snuggled close, I thought this with a mix of laughter and tears...

The next day, as I walked outside feeling refreshed and stretched lazily towards the Morning Sun of the Forest, a Line of Sight filled with infinite Resentment shot directly from the tree fork opposite, making me tense up my Body.

Following the Line of Sight, I saw Phoenix on the tree opposite, inside a simple dwelling made of branches and leaves. Having been feasted upon by the hospitable Large Mosquitoes of the Forest, he was staring intently at me like a grumbling Old Man. If he had a Voodoo Doll in his hand, he probably would have already nailed it.

Sweat. You provoked them first. Besides, what does that have to do with me? Don't take your anger out on me just because you can't get mad at women, you Bastard.

"Where's that Ghost?"

Jumping down from the Tree, Phoenix asked with a hint of caution, seeing only Marissa walk out from behind me. After Three-No Princess, Little Ghost had become the second girl to leave a shadow in his heart.

"She has returned to where she should be."

"That's good, that's good." Seeming relieved that a Demon had left, Phoenix very flirtatiously lifted the Bangs on his forehead slightly, revealing his swollen face covered in Mosquito bites.

After a simple Breakfast and packing up the Tent, the Journey continued...

The place we are currently in is called Spider Forest. Hearing this Name, you might think it's full of terrifying Spiders. Actually, that's not the case. While there are those disgusting Spiders, there aren't so many that it would warrant such a Name based on Quantity alone.

It was given this Name because there are two most famous and most disgusting Caves in this Forest: one is called Spider Lair, and the other is called Spider Cavern. As the names suggest, inside the Caves is an ocean of Spiders. You can see all sorts of Spiders inside, as big as a Fist, as big as a palm, as big as a washbasin, and even Giant Spiders as tall as your leg.

But then again, why give them such similar Names? Lair and Cavern, doesn't that make it hard to distinguish? Even calling them Cave Number One and Cave Number Two would be easier to tell apart, you Bastards!! (The Quest in the Game is in the Spider Cavern, but someone often ran into the Lair searching blindly, hence the great Resentment...)

Besides that, walking straight through Spider Forest leads to Vast Wetland. There's nothing remarkable here, so we'll skip it. Next is Flayer Jungle. It got such a bizarre Name because there's a Flayer Dungeon inside. The origin of the Flayer Dungeon's Name is because the Little People in the Dungeon really like to skin people. I have to say, the Way of Thinking of the People of the Dark Continent when naming things is quite simple...

If you can successfully pass through Flayer Jungle, you will see the Ancient Capital of Zakarum. This is Kurast before the invasion of the Hell Forces, now a ruin, so it's also called Ancient Kurast. After the invasion of the Hell Forces, Zakarum was controlled by the Dark Forces, and the entire Kurast had to move to its current location for stability.

Of course, that's not to say the entire Primeval Forest only has these few small places. Everything I just mentioned combined is just an unknown fraction of the area of this Forest. It's just that Adventurers rarely go to other places, so they haven't been given any Names.

After finishing the introduction of place names, it's time to introduce the situation in the Forest. In the entire known Primeval Forest, there are two major forces entrenched. Hearing this, your first thought might be Kurast, meaning the Adventurer's Guild should be one of the major forces. If you think that, you are completely wrong!

One of the forces, which probably everyone can think of, is the Elf Race. They have lived here for generations, and their Influence over the entire Primeval Forest is far beyond what we Adventurers can compare with.

According to Legend, the Elf Race has three main Classes. The first is Wizard. Slightly different from us Humans, Elf Wizards are not as skilled in Fire Magic. Their Fire Magic is composed of a portion of Fire Skills plus a portion of Plant Skills unique to the Elf Race. In some ways, although their Damage output is not as high as Human Sorceresses, their unique Plant Skills make their Operations more flexible and safer.

The second Class is my own kind—the Druid. The Difference between them and us lies in Shape-shifting and Summoning. They lack the clumsy Werebear Transformation but have the agile Spirit Deer Transformation. Naturally, they also have fewer Attack Skills, replaced by Skills unique to the Elf Race. The Spirit System in Summoning is also replaced by other Skills. As for who is stronger or weaker compared to our Human Druids, a conclusion has not yet been reached on this point.

As for the last Class, I'm sure everyone can more or less guess it. That's right, it's the Archer, or Magic Archer. Compared to the Amazon, this Class lacks Javelin Skills, replaced by Protective Sword Skills characteristic of the Elf Race. Their Bow Skills also seem to have some Differences. Due to space limitations, Cain did not elaborate on this point in the Book.

As for whether the Elf Race also has Hidden Classes like our Human Clerics and Monks, that's something we don't know. This is because Humans and the Elf Race have always been at odds. Although it hasn't reached the Extent of outright war, the Elf Race doesn't show us a friendly face either. The Grudges here can be traced back to before the invasion of the Hell Forces, during the most prosperous Papal Era of Humans. I'm not very clear on the specific details, but having read many Other World Novels, I can probably guess a thing or two—the Elf Race didn't just move here to live solely because they liked the Forest.

That's all the Data I know about the Elf Race. Some of the details I heard from Phoenix. Next, when Phoenix introduced the other major force in the Forest, I never expected, and I believe not many people could have expected, that the other major force would actually be—Little People!

That's right, Little People. Perhaps everyone will have a Question: why can the weak Little People replace the powerful Adventurer's Guild to become one of the two major forces in the Forest? Regarding this point, Phoenix quickly cleared up our confusion.

—Their Strength/Power comes from their terrifying reproductive Ability and adaptability.

Why Humans on Earth have never been able to eliminate Cockroaches and Mice is actually the same Principle. There was once a saying that if Animals like Cockroaches and Mice could reach half the Intelligence of Humans, then it wouldn't be Humans ruling the Earth, but them. Little People are precisely the high-Intelligence version of Cockroaches and Mice in the Other World, so it shouldn't be hard to imagine them occupying this position, right?

However, according to this Statement, Little People should be able to rule the entire Forest. Even the powerful Elf Race would have to retreat in the face of their Cockroach-like reproductive power and Life Force. Theoretically, that's correct, but in reality, there are also many unstable factors among the Little People, and it is these factors that limit them from dominating the entire Forest.

The first factor is their Tribe nature. Little People have a strong Tribe Viewpoint. Although different Tribes of Little People won't immediately start fighting when they meet, it's difficult for them to achieve Fusion with each other, let alone cooperate to fight against the Enemy.

The second factor is related to the Hell Forces, due to their powerful reproductive ability and Life Force. This has led to a rather strange Relationship among the Little People. First, there are Monsters projected from the Little People of the Third World. These Projections have no Intelligence. Like all Projections, they hold a hostile Attitude towards any Life. Second, there are Little People corrupted by Dark power. Unlike the Projections, although they are filled with Madness, they still retain a certain level of Intelligence, making this type of Monster quite a headache for Adventurers. The last type, of course, are the native Little People of the Forest who haven't been affected by anything. They retain their original Intelligence, and some Dwarf Shamans even understand the Common Language of the Continent.

These three different types of Little People form a peculiar Relationship within the Little People Race. As soon as three Little People of different natures meet, there's nothing to say; it's either you die or I live. They absolutely won't stop until they Slash and kill each other completely. This hostile Relationship among themselves also greatly Weakens the Strength/Power of the Dwarf Race.

The third factor prevents the Quantity of Little People from becoming excessive. However, at the same time, it allows them to stand on an undefeated point—a strong regional Viewpoint. Dwarf Tribes are very stubborn about their own Domain and generally won't deliberately expand their territory. But because of their terrifying reproductive Ability, the Tribe Population quickly falls into a saturated state. What to do then?

Slaughter. They choose to slaughter each other, even among Relatives, and they won't stop until only about one-tenth remains. Although this behavior Seriously Weakens the Tribe's Strength, the surviving Little People become even stronger, and their descendants will also become more robust. Then, when the Population becomes saturated again, they start a new round of slaughter.

Because of the benefits gained after this slaughter, Adventurers call this behavior Metamorphosis. Each Metamorphosis makes the Dwarf Tribe's Strength/Power stronger by a Single Point. After about ten Metamorphoses, the Tribe will produce a Chieftain. After a hundred Metamorphoses, Elites will appear. And after five hundred Metamorphoses, they become Mini-Bosses. After two thousand Metamorphoses, it is said that Little People with Demon Lord Level Strength will appear. After fifty thousand Metamorphoses, Little People with Demon God Level Strength will appear (the Demon Lord and Demon God Level Strength here refer to Projections. If they were real, there would be no need to fight; the Little People would have already unified the world and even killed their way into Hell).

However, so far, no Adventurer has ever heard of encountering a Dwarf Tribe with Demon Lord Level Strength, let alone Demon God Level. Besides the factor of mutual slaughter among the Little People, the Elf Race also deserves Merit. Being extremely familiar with the entire Forest, they always wipe out the Dwarf Tribes that are in a Weakened State right after Metamorphosis, strangling the Enemy in the Cradle.

The nature of the Little People is cruel and bloodthirsty, which can be seen from the origin of the Flayer Dungeon's Name. The Elf Race, on the other hand, is Kind and stubborn, unable to tolerate a Single Point of Sand in their Eyes. Coupled with the saying that one mountain cannot hold two tigers, the Grudges between the two major forces in the Forest began countless years ago, making them incompatible like fire and water.

What role do we Adventurers play in this?

"Don't mind us, we're not in the way. At most, we'll just take a look at what the Elf Race look like, and maybe take care of a few insignificant Dwarf Tribes to Level Up, and then go our separate ways." This is Phoenix's version.

"You guys take your time fighting. We're just passing by, watching the show, and maybe throwing a few Small Stones." This is my version.

Of course, that being said, our Adventurer's Guild naturally still favors the Elf Race. We've only ever heard of Adventurers killing Little People to Level Up, but never heard of any Adventurer daring to kill the Elf Race to Level Up. Although we are in a Cold War with each other, there is still this subtle Tacit Understanding. After all, everyone has a common goal, which is to drive the Hell Forces out of Sanctuary.

"I heard the Elf Race often goes to Kurast to purchase Necessities, but they always hide their heads and tails, being all Mysterious, making them hard to find." Phoenix smacked his lips, looking quite regretful, and then added another sentence.

"And even if they accidentally expose themselves, when you go to look, they're all male Elf Race, and they just happen to be better looking than me! Damn it, how unlucky!!"
