Chapter 840: The Advent of the Speed Force Wall

The Collector's head was severed after all.

Even though the price Tony paid was having his main body shattered again and again, and losing seventy percent of the information aggregate he had accumulated over the years, he still managed to decapitate the Collector.

"Let him go. All is not yet lost," the Destroyer Celestial said in a grim voice.

A Celestial doesn't die so easily, especially a Level Eight Celestial. Merely severing a head is nothing; even shattering it would be fine.

But Tony, a Singular God, was different. The existence of the Allspark allowed Tony to control and "kill" the Collector.

"You still want to keep fighting?" Tony spat out a mouthful of blood. The blood drifted away and, following his will, was quickly annihilated within the Blood Realm, vanishing completely. "I told you, I need this thing's head as a decoration."

They couldn't continue the fight, because the Speed Force Wall had already begun to rampage.

Surges of Speed Force energy came rushing in, tearing apart the Blood Realm and viciously pouncing on everyone present, including Tony.

The four Celestials, the battered Collector, and Tony, the Singular God, immediately began to resist the Speed Force Wall's assault.

Space-time fell into chaos, and a terrifying sense of suffocation began to emanate from the cosmos.

Looking up in all directions, an absolutely terrifying scene appeared.

A vast wall, as if enveloping everything, faintly materialized in every direction—above, below, left, right, front, and back. On its surface, a terrifying mass of Speed Force roiled ceaselessly, occasionally erupting like a solar flare, revealing a tsunami-like ocean of lightning and brewing a power capable of easily destroying worlds.

Vaguely, these walls that sealed off everything were materializing from nothing, steadily pressing in on them.

This was a wall so powerful that even Tony felt his scalp tingle just looking at it.

"The Speed Force Wall has finally been provoked..."

Tony's expression was grave as he watched the barrier slowly pressing in, his heart tightening.

Theoretically, this wall created by The Flash was only at Level Eight. As long as one had the strength of a quasi-ninth level being, they could basically contend with the Speed Force Wall head-on. A Tier Nine being could ignore it completely.

It seemed the Speed Force Wall could only handle Level Eight beings. But one mustn't forget that its terrifying sheer scale meant it could simultaneously engage multiple Level Eight gods and still hold the upper hand...

At the very least, in the current situation, the Speed Force Wall could take down Tony and all five Celestials. This was the conclusion reached by the Speed Force's collective consciousness after precise calculations.

The Destroyer Celestial shot Tony an irritated glance. "You're dead meat. The Speed Force Wall won't let you go. If you hadn't so madly used your beyond-spec unique power, you wouldn't have infuriated this thing."

"Using my main body to drag you all down with me is a worthy trade." Tony sneered, his gaze fixed gravely on the Speed Force Wall that was rapidly compressing space-time, seemingly intent on imprisoning all of them.

Boom!

Six blasts of Speed Force energy struck, carrying crackling lightning. A devastating sense of suffocation spread out as the six executioners were simultaneously attacked by the Speed Force Wall.

The Destroyer Celestial and the other Celestials quickly dodged, their surrounding energy output once again pushed to the absolute maximum as they resisted the Speed Force's pursuit and blockade.

Frequent roars of anger erupted; the Destroyer Celestial and the others were growing frantic.

"We are also hunting the Singular God!"

"The turmoil in the multiverse was caused by the New Gods! It has nothing to do with us!"

The two brothers, the Experimenter and the Controller, cursed furiously, but unfortunately, the Speed Force Wall had no intention of listening to them.

The Searcher abruptly turned his head and glared viciously at Tony.

But unexpectedly, Tony was even faster, his target being none other than the hot-tempered Celestial.

At the moment the Speed Force Wall descended with its terrifying, overwhelming mass, Tony, holding the Collector's head in one hand, brazenly charged toward Eson the Searcher. He fired a beam of light, accompanied by the Allspark at full power, sweeping a wide area and enveloping the Searcher.

The Searcher slammed down his hammer, shaking Tony's energy field, but that was all. The field Tony blasted out, combined with the animating power of the Allspark, madly assaulted the Searcher. The single blow violently shook him, causing his massive body to tremble and stiffen for a moment.

The Speed Force Wall surged forward menacingly.

Space-time itself was fixed in place by the omnipresent Speed Force. Silently, it seemed as if this vast expanse of space-time had been isolated by the Speed Force Wall, leaving the entire multiverse eerily quiet, as if only Tony and the others remained.

Vast waves of Speed Force energy attacked. The Celestials resisted, but Tony, instead of blocking the Speed Force Wall, simply kept dodging. His cold, sharp gaze was fixed on the Celestials, and he would periodically launch attacks at them, seemingly determined to drag them down with him even at the cost of being imprisoned within the Speed Force Wall himself.

"Do you really want to die?!" the Destroyer Celestial roared, sending Tony flying with a single punch.

"Enough! Get the hell out of here! If you leave, the Speed Force Wall won't be so agitated! Scram! I won't stop you!" the Experimenter roared.

Yet Tony continued to move like a ghost, his icy gaze filled with a chilling cold as he surveyed the battlefield, viciously attacking the other Celestials.

Under the dual assault from Tony and the Speed Force, the Celestials were in a sorry state. The terrifying animating power from the Allspark was also slowly eroding their bodies like maggots clinging to bone, interfering with their consciousness.

The Allspark couldn't complete the animation of a Level Eight being in a short time, but it was more than enough to just interfere with them.

The Celestials were about to die from sheer rage.

Finally, the Speed Force Wall arrived, now close at hand. It had isolated an entire section of the world, surrounding them on all sides with terrifying walls that seemed to be within arm's reach.

"You madman!"

"Lunatic!"

"Was it worth it?!"

"You're a Singular God! Your main body is your chief god-form! Once your main body is gone, how many years will it take for your avatars to recover?!"

The four Celestials cursed their lungs out. Even the Collector's head, held by Tony, was faintly emitting fluctuations; the Collector's will was trying to break through the power of the Allspark, but it failed.

No one wanted to be taken out so senselessly, not even one of the Top Ten Celestials. But Tony was now forcing them to face the Speed Force Wall alongside him.

Facing this thing, the best-case scenario was being imprisoned in the Speed Force Prison, with no telling how many years it would take to escape—if escape was even possible.

The Speed Force Wall's system was becoming more and more perfect, and the probability of escape was shrinking drastically.

Finally, Tony spoke: "If my main body goes in, I still have avatars I can use to turn the tables. I have divine artifacts, a powerful support base, and a group of trustworthy subordinates. But what do you have? If your main body is killed or imprisoned, you're completely finished..."
