Chapter 846

Chapter 830: The Watcher's Medallion

In this world, there are many, many powerful artifacts and divine items, each with different tiers of power.

Take Multiversal Artifacts, for instance. The most famous are the Infinity Stones. At first listen, the Infinity Stones sound incredibly powerful, and if you limit your view to just a single universe, they are indeed the ultimate divine artifacts.

But if you were to leap out of a small, narrow single universe and expand your view to the entire Multiverse, you would be shocked to discover that the renowned Infinity Stones are practically wholesaled by the ton...

Who the hell knows how many sets of Infinity Stones exist in the Multiverse. As Multiversal artifacts, the first six Infinity Stones have far, far too many limitations—so much so that numerous Level Eight Multiversal Gods or Quasi-Unique Gods look down on them with disdain, not even bothering to spare them a glance.

Then there are the Ten Rings in the Mandarin's possession. Within a single universe, they rank among the top five, even stronger than a single Infinity Stone. But they, too, are Multiversal artifacts, wholesaled by the ton; you can have as many as you want.

Only those Unique Artifacts, the ones that are one-of-a-kind in all existence, are truly valued by the Ancient Beings.

Some Unique Artifacts are shrouded in mystery. For example, the Rhythm Gem and the Ego Stone, which Tony has yet to find. There's also the Ultimate Nullifier, whose whereabouts are unknown. And the even more mysterious Miracle Wishing Machine, which vanished completely after the Kryptonian Pantheon used it to wish for a sanctuary.

Other Unique Artifacts, however, already have owners, serving as the ultimate treasures of powerful factions, passed down through generations. Famous examples include the Mother Box of Apokolips and the Father Box of New Genesis. The Allspark that Tony now possesses is also such an artifact, a pillar that can be passed down to support a colossal faction.

The Watcher's Medallion is the Unique Artifact of the ancient Watcher race.

In the comics, the Son of Eternity, The Glyph—an entity of evil, chaos, and extreme madness—used just half of the Watcher's Medallion to eliminate every Galactus in the entire Multiverse in an instant.

Just half of it could achieve such a feat, precisely locating one of the Five Creator Deities across the vast Multiverse and killing every version of Galactus, both tangible and intangible. One can only imagine how powerful a complete medallion would be.

The destructive power unleashed by a complete Unique Artifact is far beyond what a fragmented one can compare to.

"If I'm not mistaken, Uatu has at least half of the Watcher's Medallion in his possession. It's highly likely. Otherwise, there's no explaining how a weakling like Uatu could locate me... Nor can it explain why Uatu, or even the entire Watcher race, would be so gutsy as to observe a Singular God up close. They must have a trump card to protect themselves."

Tony glanced at the intently recording Uatu and remained silent.

Alright, to the current Tony, a Level Seven combatant like Uatu was indeed a total weakling. No matter how many of them came, they'd just be easy kills.

Suppressing his speculation, Tony had no intention of coveting the Watcher's Medallion for now. He had no need for this fragmented artifact at the moment, and even less need to make an enemy of the Watcher race.

His cooperation with Uatu had been very pleasant. During past major events, Uatu had even come to warn Tony. The two of them had a great rapport.

Tony was more than happy to let a Watcher stay on Cybertron. After all, on the current Warworld, there was already a specially built "Liaison Office of the Watcher Race on Cybertron, under the command of the New God, Tony."

What other Singular God was as approachable as Tony? To put it bluntly, what Singular God did the Watcher race have a reliable relationship with?

None.

Despite the immense age of the Watcher race, no Singular God had ever bothered with them.

Except for Tony.

Uatu had personally witnessed Tony's entire journey of growth—a legendary tale that could be called an epic.

Rapport is not an easy thing to build, let alone between the Watcher race and a Singular God.

Standing inside his spaceship, Uatu quietly watched Tony's magnificent and grand creation. His hands moved at lightning speed, becoming a blur of afterimages as he recorded the scene before him.

His professional instincts told him that this would be the starting point for countless future major events. The New God's new beginning would set sail from this very planet, a thought that thrilled Uatu to his core.

For a Watcher like him, what could bring more pride than personally witnessing a history unknown to the world?

"He must have guessed something."

Uatu thought to himself as his hands continued to record.

He knew Tony very well and keenly sensed that the New God seemed to have discovered something, though he hadn't said it aloud.

Subconsciously, while recording, Uatu stealthily touched his chest, where half of the medallion was kept close to his body.

This was something the Watcher race had secretly given him for self-protection after learning of his relationship with Tony. As long as Uatu wore this half-medallion, he had the confidence to hang around Tony and the ability to keep pace with this Singular God.

The medallion gave him power, granting him abilities he would never have dared to even dream of in the past.

Uatu understood that his race had another concern: they feared he might be killed by Tony, or get caught in the aftershocks of a battle between Tony and other gods, which would be a great loss. Giving him half the medallion meant that even if he couldn't win a fight, he could escape in time, allowing him to take his precious records with him.

...

The massive project proceeded swiftly but methodically. New Cybertron was about to take shape.

Clumps of matter in Tony's hands were like clay, molded together. As he continuously shaped the new constants and parameters that would serve as the universal laws for this giant planet, Tony demonstrated the full extent of his Level Eight power.

From the basic structure of the new world, including conventional things like rivers and mountains, to slightly higher-level concepts like gravity and magnetic forces, and all the way to the fundamental constants and parameters serving as its foundation and operating rules—Tony's computing power was amplified to its absolute limit. The Allspark, acting as the core computer, also provided him with a continuous stream of power.

His movements were as smooth as flowing water. Just as the new planet was nearing completion, he paused for a moment. After some deliberation, Tony suddenly abandoned the idea of pulling in the Nirvana Universe.

"If I pull the Nirvana Universe in to merge with the new planet right now, I'm afraid some people won't be able to hold back any longer."

Tony continued building New Cybertron, acting as if nothing was amiss.

But Tony would bet that as soon as he revealed the Nirvana Universe, the Celestials, if no one else, would attack him with the ferocity of a thunderstorm!

Even if not all of the Top Ten Celestials took action, at least half of them would mobilize to surround and kill Tony.

The Nirvana Universe was Tony's stronghold, his ultimate ace for survival and turning the tables; it absolutely could not be revealed. Once exposed, it would be like showing a hidden card to everyone. At that point, the previously cautious Celestials would act boldly, risking Tony's retaliation to destroy his true body!
