Chapter 811: The Goal
Cybertron was in an uproar, because Lord Duzun had captured a living Great Demon!
And it was an infamous invader of the Prime Universe's Earth! A being who was only repelled after the first generation of the Spirits of Vengeance suffered grievous casualties!
Countless people flocked to watch.
The one-point-nine-meter-tall Duzun dragged the over ten-meter-tall Zarathos through the air as if showing off. The silent Doomsday King Kong followed coldly behind him, like a little sidekick...
"That's Duzun! He's from the Anti-Matter Universe, the doppelgänger of that universe's Superman!"
"That's not important! The point is, he's the progeny of Primus!"
"To think Duzun beat such a terrifying demon into this state, hiss~"
"I bet Primus must have given Duzun a lot of good stuff. Otherwise, he wouldn't be this strong. During the Sinestro Corps War, Duzun was beaten half to death by those Guardians..."
Duzun flew a lap around Cybertron. The blood covering Zarathos's body was like burning magma, extremely eye-catching.
Then, Duzun flew another lap, still carrying Zarathos.
Even more people were shaken. They rushed out and looked up at Duzun, but their main focus was the demon!
Don't be fooled by the fact that the residents of Cybertron were battle-hardened, having encountered all sorts of bizarre enemies. Not long ago, they had even fought a bloody war for several days against an endless legion of zombies.
But they had never truly seen a demon! Perhaps Raven, with Trigon's blood flowing through her veins, counted as half a one, but she usually maintained the appearance of a young human girl.
Some of the flying inhabitants immediately began transforming into various aircraft and quickly chased after Duzun. A few even carefully collected the blood and other bodily tissues dripping from Zarathos, hoping they might be able to research the demon's genetic modules.
Watching this scene, Duzun's ego exploded. He felt it was absolutely necessary to satisfy the crowd's demands, so he gripped Zarathos by the neck and flew another lap.
And then another...
Zarathos felt like killing him, wanting to cry but having no tears.
The one he feared was the Doomsday King Kong following behind them, who was like a god of slaughter! Not you, you piece of shit XX Superman!
But Duzun didn't care about any of that. He thought he was incredible. He had taken Doomsday King Kong as his underling, and now he had personally captured a Great Demon!
This was an unprecedented achievement!
"I've beaten Steppenwolf's clone to death and personally captured a Great Demon!" Duzun's ego was through the roof.
...
Tony was following behind Duzun with a look of astonishment. Others couldn't sense it, but he knew that Doomsday King Kong's bloodlust was on the verge of becoming uncontrollable.
Did they really think Doomsday King Kong was just a quiet type? This was a ruthless character who dared to raise his fist at Tony! Untamable, bloodthirsty, cruel, and indifferent, with no concept of good or evil...
Tony's original purpose in developing this creature was to create a powerful weapon.
Moreover, Tony keenly discovered that Doomsday King Kong had become even more terrifying. It seemed that the act of hunting down Zarathos had allowed Doomsday King Kong to obtain a new genetic code from the Great Demon of Hell, and it was now undergoing a new round of evolution...
"I'm afraid this guy will be the first one besides me to advance to Level Eight... That won't do."
Tony had a bit of a headache.
Right now, there were still a bunch of people who could suppress Doomsday King Kong, like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Red Lantern Hulk, and so on.
But if this guy ascended to Level Eight, it would be a problem. No one besides Tony would be able to hold this monster down.
For a moment, Tony really wanted to just throw Doomsday King Kong into the Sphere of the Gods. The Sphere of the Gods was teeming with powerhouses and numerous Old Gods. Level Seven beings were as common as dogs, and Level Eight beings were everywhere. Wouldn't it be great to let Doomsday King Kong and his kind go wreak havoc on those ancient gods?
As long as it didn't bring disaster to Cybertron, it would be fine.
"However, I'll need this guy's help in the future. He's an indispensable and powerful combatant..."
Tony rubbed his forehead and sighed.
The most practical problem was how he was going to move Cybertron to the Sphere of the Gods.
Cybertron was too small right now. During the relocation, any minor mishap could destroy it. Sooner or later, Tony would have to start frantically drawing massive amounts of energy and matter from the Multiverse to crazily expand Cybertron. Building it to be as massive as Apokolips was unrealistic, but at the very least, it had to be built to the size of a universe, right?
Otherwise, what would he use to ram into the Speed Force Wall and successfully break through? To be honest, even a Cybertron comparable to the size of a universe would seem insignificant before the Speed Force Wall.
The Speed Force's collective consciousness currently wished for nothing more than for Tony to get lost. The sooner he scrammed off to the Sphere of the Gods, the happier it would be.
Ever since Tony's ascension to a Level Eight Singular God, he could clearly feel the fluctuations of the Speed Force. The monitoring from the Speed Force's collective consciousness had intensified to an unprecedented degree, and it was now watching him like a tiger stalking its prey, just waiting for him to make a mistake.
The moment he made a mistake, that terrifying behemoth, the Speed Force Wall, would move swiftly. Whether it was locking Tony in the Speed Force Prison or desperately attacking him to force his escape to the Sphere of the Gods, both actions would perfectly align with the Speed Force Wall's procedural requirements.
Except for the Five Creator Deities responsible for maintaining the balance of the Multiverse, all Level Eight Singular Gods were targets for the Speed Force Wall to hunt. It was only a matter of time.
Tony was currently at the top of the Speed Force Wall's blacklist. The Speed Force was patiently waiting for him to slip up, giving it an excuse to imprison or exile him.
But... Tony had no intention of leaving right now. None at all.
Go to the Sphere of the Gods all by himself to die?
Tony estimated that he would need to lead the entirety of Cybertron, along with a few reliable subordinates who had also reached Level Eight as support, to barely qualify for a foothold in the Sphere of the Gods. And that was all under the premise that Tony could successfully withstand the challenges from a group of Old Gods.
And Doomsday King Kong, this killing machine he had developed by slaughtering the Kryptonian pantheon and using their four main gods for cruel human experimentation, was an aide that Tony valued greatly.
As long as Doomsday King Kong could truly help Tony achieve his goal of establishing a foothold in the Sphere of the Gods, honestly, Tony would be more than happy to set Doomsday King Kong free. He could go wherever he pleased, as long as he didn't deliberately come back to wreak havoc on Cybertron.
"The value of a Singular God is immense; countless people want to kill one... If I went to the Sphere of the Gods as a Quasi-Unique God or a Multiversal God, no one would bother with me..."
Tony's gaze was profound.
Naive thoughts were unacceptable.
A Singular God was one of the greatest treasures in the Sphere of the Gods, second only to powerful unique artifacts like the Wishing Machine, the Ultimate Nullifier, and so on.
In the sky, Duzun was still showing off wantonly, flying lap after lap. His behavior was so obnoxious that many people wanted to strike him down.
And Trigon's daughter, Raven, did just that. With a single spell, she blasted Duzun, whose magic resistance was in the negative, out of the sky and then snatched Zarathos away.
