Chapter 692

Chapter 676: Hell Demon

Just as Annihilus was annihilating the Herald of Galactus, on the other end, the Annihilation Wave and Cybertron's regular army finally began their first massive collision.

This time, it wasn't a small-scale engagement like those involving the Wreckers, but a truly massive collision of legions.

Over twenty million Insectoids launched an attack against the Cybertronian Legion, which numbered a million, and the Insectoids' numbers were constantly growing.

The battle erupted around Planet SC74X-1. Drawn in and enraged by the Wreckers, the Insectoids plunged headfirst into a trap set by a group of Cybertronians from the regular army.

Boom!

Violent explosions erupted, instantly clearing out millions of Insectoids.

Artillery fire, denser than a torrential downpour, began to unleash its power. Interstellar Annihilation cannons opened fire, each capable of destroying a planet, but this time, these cannons faced the terrifyingly numerous Annihilation Wave.

Swarms of Insectoids, arriving in overwhelming numbers, filled every inch of visible space. An endless stream of Insectoids was rushing in from other parts of the Universe, and their diverse abilities were enough to pose a massive threat to any enemy.

Relying on the planet for cover, the Transformers were forced to clash violently with the Insectoids after several rounds of devastating bombardment.

In an instant, gore splattered everywhere as countless Insectoids were dismembered. Similarly, many Transformers were overwhelmed by the Insect Swarm, completely buried in the Insect Tide. Their steel chassis would be torn apart and scattered into pieces in a flash before the frenzied Insectoids, and their Allspark would be destroyed, leading them to certain death.

War Fortresses began to unleash their might, their dizzyingly dense cannons, after several rounds of bombardment, were engulfed by the tsunami-like Insect Swarm roaring down from Space.

Large numbers of Transformers engaged in direct close-quarters combat with the Insectoids, pushing the strengths of their chassis and their martial prowess to the absolute limit.

Every Transformer was a martial arts master, skilled in lethal techniques. Their uniquely endowed bodies could instantly analyze the attack trajectory of an opposing Insectoid, and then launch a counterattack based on their own chassis's condition.

Those with stronger chassis and more abundant energy reserves could completely go head-to-head, killing the attacking Insectoids at a faster rate. The weaker ones, however, had to first block the Insectoids' tentacles and other attacks, then seize opportunities to counterattack.

The two torrents collided, instantly causing chaos. Hand-to-hand combat and brawling were always the most brutal wars of attrition. In such large-scale Legion warfare, individual strength was easily diminished, and some outstanding individuals had to simultaneously face enemies targeting them from all directions.

Astonishing explosions formed expanding energy vortices, which then dissipated as their energy sources collapsed, leaving behind massive craters and piles of corpses.

This was a war that erupted between a torrent of steel and the Insect Tide, quickly escalating into a white-hot struggle.

The entire planet was engulfed in an ocean of war. Every surviving individual was a frenzied warrior, serving the battlefield and striving to kill as many enemies as possible.

Overall, the situation remained evenly matched, making it difficult to say who held the advantage.

The Transformers possessed incredibly powerful combat and coordination abilities. Their Central Processors could instantly analyze thousands of combat strategies, and even every swing of a blade was executed with greater precision than an industrial machine tool.

The Annihilation Wave, on the other hand, excelled due to their immeasurably diverse forms and abilities. Coupled with their terrifying numbers, they completely overwhelmed the Transformers numerically.

"Get out of my way, you ants! Lord Hell Demon is here to teach them a lesson!"

A colossal figure, like a mythical Demon God, was instantly assembled from several components. This famous Combiner from Cybertron had arrived at the forefront of the battlefield, unleashing slaughter upon the Insect Swarm.

Its fifty-meter frame swept across the battlefield. Only a few equally massive Insectoids could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Hell Demon, but those Insectoids primarily served as mobile turrets, specifically designed to eliminate troublesome Transformer fortresses and strongholds.

Hell Demon bore a head resembling a bull's. Its black body surface, like solidified magma, constantly undulated. If observed closely, one could occasionally see a faint red light emanating from its sunken skin, the color of magma.

A hurricane-force wind spread across the entire planet. Hell Demon roared loudly, stomping its foot to crush a swath of Insectoids and swinging an arm to slaughter hundreds. The ground, littered with the corpses of Insectoids oozing disgusting green liquid, served as a testament to Hell Demon's might.

He opened his massive maw, and a cannon, hidden deep within, slightly extended. Highly diffusive energy poured out, sweeping across the front.

"Wahahaha, you useless pests, behold how Lord Hell Demon slays his enemies!"

Hell Demon roared ferociously, swatting away a Transformer obstructing his path. He bellowed excitedly, more like a beast than the Insectoids themselves, and brutally charged headfirst into the Insect Tide. Splattering sounds echoed as countless Insectoids, fearless of death, lunged at him, only to be flattened by Hell Demon's immense kinetic force.

Hell Demon looked as if he had been submerged in green liquid.

"Truly disgusting…"

Hell Demon disdainfully wiped off the sticky liquid from his body.

The Insectoids seemed enraged. Even more Insectoids surged forward, countless numbers rushing madly from the sky, ground, and Underground, instantly overwhelming Hell Demon.

The fifty-meter-tall Hell Demon was swarmed by countless Insectoids, writhing densely across his surface, a truly grotesque sight. Large Insectoids, their eyes glowing with green light, bit down viciously, but often shattered their own mandibles without harming Hell Demon in the slightest.

However, a very few Insectoids did possess the ability to bite him, causing stinging pains across various parts of his body.

Hell Demon's crimson eyes flared, spewing scorching heat vision like rolling magma. The seemingly decorative red light around his body, in reality, was copious red energy liquid gushing from his uneven physique, incinerating countless Insectoids.

Raging flames burned, and thick black smoke shot skyward. Hell Demon was quickly enveloped by fire, the blazing inferno covering countless Insectoids, clinging to his body and igniting.

Piercing screams loud enough to shatter ordinary eardrums filled the air, as large numbers of Insectoids plummeted from the burning Hell Demon.

Surrounded by red light, Hell Demon advanced through the intense flames. Countless Insectoids splattered and fell from his body, making him appear like an Archdemon truly risen from Hell.

"Roar!"

Several even larger Giant Dragons began to thrash, knocking away numerous flying Insectoids. Even the smallest of these more terrifying and monstrous behemoths was no less than sixty meters long.

Soon, a massive wave of Insectoids swarmed them. These Iron Dragons, enduring the Insect Tide, converged. Numerous metal components rolled and pieced together across their bodies, and a Maximal was officially born.

"Hell Demon, you idiot, you have so little strength, yet you always love to show off."

Predaking, after effortlessly eliminating tens of thousands of Insectoids, spoke in a cold voice.
