Chapter 667: This is a... Doomsday Transformer
October 19, 2022 Author: Great Demon Spirit
The Larval Entity's instinct was destruction; to put it plainly, it was a biochemical monster with a brain it refused to use.
Not to mention, it had only recently been born, and even "thinking" was something it needed to adapt to.
The Larval Entity, whose head Tony had crushed, quickly recovered. Its body, gleaming with a dark luster, underwent another subtle evolution. The power from its genetic instinct rapidly strengthened its body, not only needing to evolve to survive in the Blood Realm but also to adapt to Tony's strength.
The true Ancient Doomsday possessed the characteristic of "being unable to be killed twice by the same method." If Ancient Doomsday were here instead, Tony could kill him once, but a second attempt would be completely ineffective.
This was practically a rule-based ability.
But the Larval Entity seemed to fall short.
A mighty roar echoed as the Larval Entity stopped its movements, its eyes filled with wary instinct, glaring fiercely at Tony.
“I created you, and you shall offer me your everything,” Tony said indifferently.
The Larval Entity's answer was a roar.
Tony remained expressionless, directly manipulating the Larval Entity's genetic essence with meticulous control as precise as a god's, forcing the Larval Entity into instinctive actions.
A willpower of resistance emerged, but was immediately shattered by Tony, who then drove the Larval Entity out of the Mother Box to launch a suicidal attack on Darkseid.
“Not bad. You possess something mysterious. That thing is the key to you becoming a true god.”
Darkseid effortlessly shattered the Larval Entity with a single punch, a casual display.
“Anyone who isn't a fool could guess that much,” Tony said.
The Allspark, this item capable of creating and destroying life, was Tony's biggest trump card.
It was also Tony's confidence in studying Ancient Doomsday; otherwise, he wouldn't research monsters beyond his control. But with the Allspark's blessing, everything changed.
Although the Larval Entity's willpower of resistance still existed, it was very weak and within Tony's controllable range.
Furious roars erupted as the Larval Entity revived again and again, fighting fiercely with Darkseid. At some unknown point, its eyes had turned blood-red, plunging into a state of extreme madness.
The instinctive sense of obedience made the naturally violent and tyrannical Larval Entity extremely dissatisfied and filled with rage. It could only vent this emotion onto Darkseid.
Killed repeatedly and revived repeatedly, the Larval Entity's physical form also underwent transformation.
To survive for even one more second against Darkseid, the Larval Entity, possessing infinite potential, was forced to undergo evolution for survival. Its physique became more robust, and more inexplicable matter materialized on its body, enhancing its defense and other physical functions.
The shimmering golden luster became increasingly apparent, having transitioned from its initial dullness at birth to a brighter sheen, and its smooth skin formally underwent transformation to a metallic texture.
Angular features gradually emerged from nothing. The Larval Entity grew increasingly ferocious, its bodily hardness skyrocketed, transforming it from a form resembling a human towards a robot form.
From beginning to end, Tony stood quietly observing inside the Mother Box, the Allspark pulsed with an incredibly subtle frequency.
“This is what you've researched? Turning a Doomsday into a robot subservient to you?”
Darkseid smashed a fist onto the Larval Entity's head. This time, the Larval Entity raised an arm to block, but both its arm and head were broken, its head once again blasted apart.
“At least I can guarantee that a second Ancient Doomsday won't appear. An uncontrollable monster isn't what I want.”
Tony said expressionlessly, perceiving every transformation of the Larval Entity.
A level seven aura was faintly spreading. The Larval Entity had evolved to a completely new level, but clearly, its evolution capabilities still couldn't compare to Ancient Doomsday.
But being controllable was enough.
Tony sensed the rage emanating from the Larval Entity, knowing that this creature still held an untamed streak. However, Tony, who practiced utilitarianism to the extreme, didn't care about this bit of willpower of resistance.
Boom!
Roar! Roar!
The disfigured Larval Entity clashed with Darkseid once more, emitting continuous frenzied roars, covered in blood, and completely transformed into a beast, a stark contrast to the silent Darkseid.
The Larval Entity's body was undergoing dramatic changes; distinct angular features rapidly spread across it. Its black-glowing body was transforming both horizontally and vertically, as if a brand-new armored suit was being laid over its surface.
But Tony clearly knew this transformation wasn't merely superficial; more importantly, the creature's internal body was also undergoing transformation. Every ligament, blood vessel, muscle, and nerve began to undergo drastic changes. Tony was employing a method akin to creating a transformer with the Allspark, gradually adjusting the Larval Entity.
He didn't need to make extensive practical plans for the Larval Entity, only needing to plant the seeds of growth and transformation when it was still a Protoform.
If Optimus Prime was a born transformer, then the Larval Entity was one transformed later in life. When the Larval Entity's life Protoform formed, under Tony's control and with the Allspark bestowing life creation, everything would become different.
The Larval Entity was destined not to become a second Ancient Doomsday; its future trajectory was locked by Tony from the very beginning, and the key to unlock it would not even exist. The Larval Entity was destined to only move forward frantically on a single path, using every possible means.
A Larval Entity resembling Ancient Doomsday was destined not to become Ancient Doomsday.
“I prefer to call him by another name – Doomsday Transformer. This is the name I, his creator, have given him. What do you think? This creature might just take a trip to Apokolips one day. It's still beneficial to learn a bit more about him now.”
Tony was dead serious.
Darkseid kicked the Larval Entity into smithereens, and a blood-colored light erupted from his pale red eyes as scorching rays shot out, cutting through the vacuum at multiple sharp angles, constantly deflecting and blasting towards Tony's position.
Omega Beams were an ability derived from the Omega Effect, similar in form to Heat Vision, but these beams moved with extreme swiftness and possessed auto-tracking capabilities. Darkseid had dominated the Sphere of the Gods for countless years with this ability; an untold number of beings had been blasted to dust by him.
Zzzz...
The Mother Box expanded, towering like a massive mountain before Tony, blocking the Omega Beams.
A powerful shockwave slammed violently into the Mother Box, its aftershocks transforming into dozens of finer red rays, which shot off in all directions, penetrating deep into the Blood Realm and vanishing.
The Doomsday Transformer was reborn again. Another Omega Beam struck, annihilating the Doomsday Transformer's flesh and blood, but mysteriously, new flesh and blood always appeared, then wildly wriggled, transforming from fragments into a mass of flesh, and then from a mass of flesh into a complete humanoid form.
“He really is like Majin Buu...”
Tony watched, a strange thought popping into his head.
