Chapter 215

"You shouldn't have involved Betty. She's innocent." Banner's expression twisted, his body gradually beginning to swell. He roared, letting out a beast-like cry as green began to cover his skin. The beast within him could no longer wait to emerge.

"So my family deserved it?! I'm no hypocrite. You destroyed my family, so I'll drag your entire family down to die with me!"

Tony said coldly, "Don't measure me by the standards of a Superhero. I don't give a damn. I never cared about the noble sentiments you people hold so dear in the first place."

As long as he could kill the Hulk, it was all worth it!

To bury this disgusting thing, once and for all. To personally exterminate this beast-like creature, cutting it off at the source.

"Banner, sometimes I find you truly disgusting. Although I know you don't want this either, this is your original sin. The fact that you can become the Hulk and wreak havoc—that is your original sin. You must die. Just as an ant has no feud with a shoe, countless ants are crushed underfoot without a second thought. Who has ever cared?"

Tony slapped his chest hard. A disc-like device hidden inside his clothes lit up instantly and began to expand, forming a tall mech suit. It had the feel of a mech from a movie or TV show, continuously raising Tony's frame until he stood inside a mech over three meters tall.

This mech looked a bit comical, like... Baymax from some anime. It was round and chubby, not only lacking the intimidating presence of a mech but even appearing somewhat bloated and ridiculous.

The Supreme Divine Armor, prototyped after one of the Supreme holy relics of the Cybertronian Civilization, possessed an indestructible, super-strong defense. Lasers, Star Destroyer Cannons, magma, or even the pressure of the deepest oceans could not cause the slightest damage to this Supreme Divine Armor.

This was something Tony had built to save his own life. While it was far from being as formidable as the prototype he knew from his past life, it could at least withstand a few direct hits from the Hulk.

A powerhouse as strong as a Level Four would surely die if they took a direct punch from the Hulk with their flesh-and-blood body.

Roar! Roar! Roar!

Banner began to lose his sanity as the Hulk completely took over his body. The green muscles all over him swelled crazily, his towering, muscular form creating a visually shocking and immensely pressuring presence.

From time to time, the Hulk let out a low roar, a subsonic wave like that of a ferocious beast, unnerving any Ordinary Human.

"Come on, you lowly beast! You were born a wretched thing, you don't deserve to live! Do you need me to tell you just how many innocent civilians you've killed in just a few short years?"

"One hundred thirteen thousand, seven hundred and some people!"

Tony, inside the Supreme Divine Armor, bellowed, his expression fierce and brutal. "One hundred and thirteen thousand civilians became your playthings when you were angry! In your eyes, their deaths were just toys for you to vent your wrath! Sharing a body with a weak human who despises you—you must find it so annoying, right? Because you can clearly feel Banner's disgust for you!"

"From North America to South America, from South America to the Middle East, from the Middle East to South Asia, so many people have wanted to kill you, but no one has ever succeeded! This time, it's my turn, and I don't have so many scruples! The greater good of the future? Bullshit! I don't care!"

In this world, many people hated the Hulk to the bone.

Out of nowhere, a mild-mannered, scholarly figure would suddenly transform into a green beast and slaughter everyone, with incidents of entire towns being massacred not being uncommon.

However, there were many people with special abilities on Earth. Setting others aside, Sorcerers have many hidden traditions on the planet. Those advanced Sorcerers could easily take down the Hulk with Mind Magic or Soul Magic.

If that didn't work, a simple Space Magic spell could banish the Hulk to Outer Space, or even toss him directly into the Sun.

There were many similar Superpowered Individuals, but they all acted as if they were blind, turning a blind eye to the Hulk.

It was one thing for Kamar-Taj not to act. They had always held a transcendent status, viewing the affairs of the Mortal World with a detached coldness. They were the protectors of Earth, not the nannies of any particular race.

But all the other metahumans just tucked their heads in, playing dumb.

Many had already studied the Hulk's potential through various means, such as divination spells, and had some understanding. It was at a level that was astonishing and enviable, enough to make anyone jealous.

And so, they became blind. Earth's position in the universe is very sensitive, a fact that some with foresight understood. Rationally speaking, a Hulk with infinite potential was far more valuable than the sum of millions, or even tens of millions, of people.

In this perilous universe, a single super-powerful lifeform could shelter an entire planet. They chose to ignore the Hulk's rampage, allowing the lives of countless weak civilians to be toys for placating his rage.

It might be cruel, but Tony knew clearly that this approach was not wrong; in fact, it was very correct.

Exchanging millions, tens of millions, or even a hundred million lives for a future powerhouse like the Hulk, who could potentially reach Level Seven or even Level Eight, was a great deal. A very, very great deal. A single Hulk could easily protect a civilization in the future Infinity War. If other planets in the universe were given the choice, they would go mad with desire for their own Hulk.

No matter the cost.

Ordinary lifeforms were too fragile. A single rock falling from the sky could kill a huge number of people. Rationally, though cruel and cold-blooded, this was the most appropriate and cost-effective course of action.

Forget a mere hundred thousand deaths; even casualties in the millions or tens of millions were worthwhile if it bought the Hulk time to quickly grow out of his infancy and develop sufficient intelligence and experience.

But Tony didn't care. He wasn't that great, nor did he have that kind of magnanimity. Since he was now facing him, he would kill him as quickly as possible.

In the Mortal Realm, the so-called armies were nothing before the Hulk, and the knowledgeable metahumans had collectively become blind and deaf, creating the ridiculous situation where no one could suppress the Hulk.

"I can't be bothered with some 'greater good.' I'm going to kill you today!"

You won't let me live in peace, yet you expect me to consider the bigger picture? Who gave you that face?!

Tony took a step, and the heavy divine Armor began to run, its steps making the ground tremble. The Hulk roared. His infant-like brain couldn't process complex thoughts; seething rage drove him to charge toward Tony.

Innocent civilians rushed over from other areas, screaming in terror as they saw the two giants about to collide, and fled in panic.

The Hulk ran wildly, like a high-speed train, roaring as he crashed forward. Each step left a deep footprint in the ground.

Just as he was about to slam into Tony, Tony suddenly stretched out his hand. A surge of mystic energy quickly gathered, and a portal began to appear. It completely devoured the rapidly approaching Hulk and instantly threw him into the distance, dropping him into an encirclement of countless metal beasts.
