Chapter 745 Blood Butcher Arrives

The Battlefield changes in the blink of an eye. Perhaps Laufey could rely on his Cold Qi to withstand the erosion of 'Flame', but Frank Castle would definitely not give him that opportunity.

Even a Rookie fresh to the Battlefield understands this principle, let alone Laufey, who has lived for who knows how many years and fought for even more. Therefore, he merely used Cold Qi to stop the 'Flame' from spreading further.

Then, Laufey condensed a small amount of Cold Qi in his Left Hand, and an Ice Blade extended from his Palm. With a swift motion, he severed his Right Hand along the Elbow.

Clean and efficient. From stopping the Flame from spreading to swiftly severing his Arm, the entire process took less than three Seconds. This Speed was already extremely fast, so fast that Frank Castle's pursuit was a step behind.

Watching Frank Castle charge up, Laufey swung his Right Fist in response. The half-severed Arm made Frank Castle momentarily stunned. He didn't understand why his opponent would use a crippled Arm to throw a Punch. Could it be that the limb's incompleteness had led to a loss of intelligence?

Frank Castle didn't remain puzzled for long. Laufey quickly gave him the Answer. That Arm, missing half of it, traced a Trajectory in the Air as usual. During its movement, Fresh Blood even gushed out.

“Kara Kara!”

Suddenly, the Fresh Blood congealed in Mid-air, unexpectedly transforming into a Spiked Hammer. Frank Castle, unable to evade in time, directly collided with Laufey's Spiked Hammer.

“Bang!”

Frank Castle was sent flying backward, crashing into the Audience Seats. But he immediately got up, wiping away the Rage Energy flowing from his Nose while remaining Alert to Laufey.

"He actually congealed his own Blood into a Weapon," Frank Castle exclaimed in surprise.

"Learned it from you," Laufey said, raising his Severed Arm. Underfoot, the ashes of the Flame were already present.

It must be said that Laufey's move was indeed brilliant. Not only did he freeze the Cross-section to prevent Blood from continuing to flow out, but he also caught Frank Castle completely off guard.

Laufey muttered something under his breath. His Severed Arm on his Right Hand unexpectedly transformed once again, this time turning into a normal Arm.

"As long as you add a bit of Witchcraft, Shortcoming can also become Strength. Surrender, and perhaps I'll spare your life."

Frank Castle spat, ejecting his broken Tooth, using this action as his Response to Laufey.

It must be said that Laufey is an extremely troublesome opponent. Relying on his current self alone, he has no way to defeat him in a short Time. He heard that this was still a weakened Frost Giant. He didn't know how strong these Things were in their Peak Condition.

If he could perfectly Control the Lantern Ring, he should be able to easily defeat the opponent before him. However, this was clearly unrealistic.

The current Frank Castle could only forcibly use the Lantern Ring by putting it in danger. Rather than saying the Lantern Ring was protecting him, the Lantern Ring was actually protecting itself.

He had to choose another more realistic Method. Fortunately, this Method was right before his Presence.

Frank Castle took a deep breath, stood up, and raised his Left Hand, wearing the Lantern Ring, to his Chest. As if to Response to its Master, the Lantern Ring glowed again with Light.

“Scalding hot Blood, crimson Anger, taken from still-cold bones.”

Watching Laufey suddenly recite a Poem for some unknown Reason, Laufey dared not relax in the slightest. He wouldn't think that his opponent suddenly reciting poetry was because he had become interested in the Battle. He believed that every step an Enemy took in Battle had a Reason.

Not to mention reciting poetry, he had seen even stranger Battle methods. For Laufey, no matter what Frank Castle wanted to do now, stopping him was definitely the right Choice.

Having made up his mind, Laufey's Right Hand transformed into a Spiked Hammer and charged towards Frank Castle. During the charge, he also conveniently picked up the Giant Axe stuck in the ground. In an instant, his Right Hand became a hammer, his Left Hand held the Axe, and he charged towards Frank Castle, who was standing in the Original Place.

“Boom!”

Red Light flared intensely, so much so that Laufey couldn't open his Eyes for a moment. It wasn't just the Red Light; the Airflow composed of Energy made it impossible for him to advance an inch, unable to Damage Frank Castle at the Center.

“Deep hatred boils in my Lung, forging your path to the Yellow Springs!”

Having spoken, the Red Light that had just bloomed outwards began to rapidly contract. Even the Energy that had been released also retracted, and even the Lantern Construct, which had been standing still in the distance, flew over as well.

Red Smoke billowed. After the crimson Smoke dissipated, Laufey finally regained his Line of Sight. However, at this moment, Frank Castle and the Lantern Construct were no longer in his Presence. Instead, a completely new Figure stood there.

This Figure was covered from head to toe in Plate Armor composed of red and black bodies. He wore an exaggerated Bull Horn Mask on his head, and Beast Head Shoulder Armor covered his Shoulders. From the Cracks in the Armor, steaming Flame flowed out from time to time.

This appearance made Laufey couldn't help but recall that Monster who had died long ago, the original Emperor of Muspelheim—Surtur.

Yang Le, sitting in the Monitoring Room, recognized him at a glance. Frank Castle had fused with the Lantern Construct once again. He should now be called **the Blood Butcher**.

The Battlefield suddenly fell silent. Laufey dared not act rashly for a moment. He didn't know what kind of changes the Enemy had undergone. If he rashly launched an Attack, he might instead fall into a passive position.

If the Enemy doesn't move, I'll move recklessly. The Blood Butcher clearly didn't know what Calm was. Holding the Long-Handled Axe, he disappeared from the Original Spot. Laufey only felt a blur before his Eyes, and the Blood Butcher had unexpectedly charged right in front of him without him knowing when.

Without Time to think, Laufey subconsciously held the Giant Axe horizontally in front of him, barely managing to block the Blood Butcher's sudden Killer Move.

“Clang!”

After the sound like a resounding bell, Laufey only felt his remaining Hand on his Left Hand go numb. If he hadn't held onto the Axe Handle tightly, this move would have caused his Weapon to come loose.

Because he lost the Initiative due to momentary Alertness, if he were to be suppressed and beaten again due to clumsy Limbs, there would be no Opportunity to turn the tables.

Laufey knew he couldn't delay any longer. He extended his Right Hand, transformed into a Spiked Hammer, and slammed it towards the Blood Butcher's Face. The latter unexpectedly didn't evade, forcefully taking Laufey's Attack head-on.

The Spikes of the Spiked Hammer got stuck in the Cracks of the Helmet. Logically speaking, any normal Creature should feel fear, but the Blood Butcher wouldn't. He only thought about how to tear apart the Creature before his Eyes.

Releasing the Axe Handle with his Left Hand, the Blood Butcher drew a Butcher Knife hanging in front of him and stabbed it towards Laufey's Neck. If this move were to hit, Laufey would definitely die.

Laufey certainly understood. Watching the Swords getting closer and closer to him, the Body Hair on his body stood on end. He quickly canceled the Control over his Right Hand, and only after the Ice blocks transformed back into Blood Water did he get the Opportunity to withdraw.

But in the end, he was a step too slow. Although this Dollar didn't manage to stab into his Neck, it did pierce his Shoulder after all. Laufey's Shoulder Armor played a small role, resulting in a Wound that wasn't too deep.

But the Blood Butcher's Weapon wasn't just sharp. They were all composed of the Emotional Spectrum, and they also possessed the Characteristics of Rage Energy, such as burning.
