Chapter 695: Kings' Meeting (1)
Just as Tyr was pondering how to remain silent under the torture of Hela's Hand of Glory, Hela unexpectedly ignored Tyr kneeling on the Ground, straightened up, and turned to leave.
Tyr was caught off guard by Hela's sudden change. He knew that Hela possessed a ruthlessness that matched her beauty, and such a person would never allow anyone to betray her.
"Truly an Ungrateful Wretch that can't be tamed," Hela softly uttered her evaluation, then slowly walked towards the real Wolf in front of her.
"Although I would very much like to listen to your screams right now, unfortunately, my schedule is very tight today."
Tyr knew that today was the Day when Hela and her Accomplices gathered together. Even someone as noble as her would not provoke so many people at once under normal circumstances.
There's a saying that the Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend. Hela clearly knew that the Alliance she had joined was only connected by a common Goal. This Connection could be considered strong, but also fragile.
Moreover, the Guys she had allied with were not to be trifled with. For her Plan to be executed smoothly, at least for the current Time, Hela could not afford to fall out with them.
Hela patted Fenrir's Wolf Head. The latter understood and transformed into a Giant Wolf over ten meters tall. Hela, standing at his Foot, then transformed into a green Raven and flew onto Fenrir's Back.
After landing on Fenrir's Back, Hela transformed back into Humanoid form. Once his Master was seated, Fenrir howled and turned into a Shadow, disappearing into Niflheim.
Before Tyr could even get up, Hela's Sound, which should have long since faded away, echoed in his ears.
"I Hope to see you in Helheim when I return."
Tyr was in Silence for a moment, then Opening his mouth, he said, "Yes, Queen."
Because of the Reason for wasting some Time on Tyr, it was almost Time for the agreed meeting. But Hela was not flustered at all, after all, Fenrir's Speed was very fast. See, they had arrived.
Fenrir's running Speed was not actually that fast, but his Magic could compensate for this. With a few flashes, they arrived at the agreed Location.
The agreed Location was set in Niflheim. This Mist Kingdom's millennia-old Mist had a very good concealing Effect. Even God King (Odin) Odin would have to expend some effort to investigate here.
Therefore, even if the other Accomplices were unwilling, they had to set the meeting Location within Hela's territory. This Aspect was indeed the safest place.
"Boom!"
The Giant Wolf descended from the Sky and landed on an Open Area, shaking the Thing Underfoot, which was either Accumulated Snow or ash, into the Sky. It took a while for it to slowly fall.
"What?" Hela looked at the empty agreed Location. "Am I the first one?"
"Then you might be disappointed, Queen of the Underworld."
A male Sound suddenly rang out in the empty Open Area. The Sound sounded elegant and magnetic. Just from the Sound, one could tell that the Master of the Sound was definitely an arrogant Human.
Sure enough, a Figure suddenly walked out of the Mist. A slender Body emerged from the Mist. It was a man with handsome Appearance. His white hair was like a sky full of snowflakes. Judging by Appearance, his Age was definitely no more than thirty years old.
The most surprising thing was the man's Face. That Face was actually composed of two Colors. The left side was unsettling black, and the right side was dazzling Blue Skin. Under this strange composition, the man's handsome Face also appeared strange.
"After so many years, you still can't change this affected way of speaking, Malekith."
Hela slid off Fenrir's Back, then waved her Hand behind her without turning her head. The Giant Wolf understood, turned around, and left without looking back.
"I would prefer you to call it elegance." Malekith bowed slightly and gave a salute to Hela. Although the Etiquette was very proper and standard, there was not a trace of respect in those Eyes.
Hela was not annoyed. She had a clear Awareness of the Dark Elf King in front of her. This Human was a Madmen, a Beast who encased himself in a shell of Etiquette. It was not worth getting angry with such a Human.
Unless you can kill him with one blow, never easily fall out with him. Otherwise, even Hela would have to be wary of his Revenge. Coincidentally, the Accomplices she was meeting today were all Characters like this.
"Rumble!"
While Hela and Malekith were talking, a sudden earth-shattering tremor stopped their Desire to continue the conversation. Both of them turned their Line of Sight to the source of the tremor.
A Mountain that was originally unnoticed moved. After the Accumulated Snow on top was shaken off, the true Face of this 'Mountain' was revealed. It was a Giant with blue skin.
Long Fangs grew out of the Giant's mouth. Armor gleaming with dark light covered most of the Giant's Body. Beside him stood a single-edged Axe as large as a Mountain.
Only when the Accumulated Snow had completely fallen and the Mist had dissipated could it be seen that the Giant was sitting on the Ground. But even sitting on the Ground, he could be level with the surrounding Mountains. From this, it could be seen how terrifying his Height would be when the Giant stood up.
"Let's skip these useless pleasantries." The Giant's Sound was like a booming bell. "If that One-Eyed Old Man Odin finds out, our Plan will fail before it's even born."
"I didn't expect that the defeat from a thousand years ago would make you so afraid of Odin now. Is this still the arrogant Giant King?"
Before the fiery Sound, as explosive as burning Flame, had even landed, a Doorway made entirely of Fire brazenly opened beside Hela and Malekith. Then, a tall Figure walked out from within.
The newcomer was like a pile of burning Flame, with two huge Horns on her head. Her entire Body was wrapped in crimson red, with only key parts wrapped in Rock-like Substance. When she landed, the Accumulated Snow around her inevitably melted rapidly. This was still the result of the Flame's Master restraining her temperature.
If she fully unleashed herself, at least a hundred miles around would turn into a sea of Fire. But even she, with her fiery nature, knew that she couldn't cause such a large-scale change in winter at this Time. The slightest anomaly in the Nine Realms would attract Odin's Line of Sight.
"Take back your Question, Daughter of Surtur!" The Giant glared. "Otherwise, Laufey will teach you how to write respect!"
"I'm so scared." The Flame chuckled. "Before talking big, why don't you try getting closer to me first, if you can? What's wrong, so afraid of turning from a Giant into a dwarf? My Giant King?"
Laufey didn't reply. Instead, he cleanly and decisively raised his Axe and chopped it down at the Flame.
