Chapter 615 Asgard

A robust male with golden long hair strode out, walking rapidly on the brick-paved ground surface.

The man wore strange armor. Upper clothes woven from unknown cloth perfectly highlighted the man's figure as if carved by knives and axes. Two pairs of metal discs with slightly different sizes were embedded on it. The man's upper clothes had no sleeves, and covering his arm were chainmail made with extremely high skill.

The lower half of the man's body was clad in scales overlapping like scales, which looked equally exquisite. It made people can't help but wonder whether the man was wearing a work of art or battlefield armor.

"You're back, Thor!"

"God of War of Asgard!"

The man was like a natural superstar. Wherever he went, people lined up to welcome him. Those people were also wearing robe-style clothes that looked like ancient times, and many of them were wearing armor, looking as if they were in ancient Europe.

Thor's corner of mouth slightly raised. Even after hundreds and thousands of times, the cheers of his subjects still made him feel invigorated. Perhaps he was born to do this.

Raising the inseparable hammer, the crowd of onlookers erupted into even louder cheers. This sound could be heard even in the royal city kilometers away.

"Still the same as always." A burly old person stood on the balcony watching Thor, shaking his head as if disappointed, but the pride in his only remaining single eye could not be concealed.

It's just that the pride seemed to be mixed with a hint of worry.

"You weren't inferior when you were young either."

A gentle female voice came from behind him. In all of Asgard, only one person dared to speak to him like this. The old person knew without thinking who was standing behind him.

"You're here, Frigga." Odin turned around, and the Queen, wearing a simple blue long dress, stood behind him, just like when they were children.

Frigga responded to her husband with a smile. Although she didn't put on airs, the grace and nobility carried in every frown and smile were visible to anyone. This woman was like the incarnation of nobility.

"Your heart is again filled with things I don't know."

Even though she was smiling, Odin inexplicably felt a hint of threat. The great god who traversed the Nine Realms helplessly shook his head.

"Some things have happened. No need to look at me like that, Frigga. I was just about to tell you."

"Really?" Frigga gently covered her mouth with her right hand, looking very surprised. "If the great god's wisdom hasn't dissipated, I remember you used this reason when you were thousands of years old. And then what happened?"

Facing his beloved, even the great god Odin had to temporarily bow his head and said, "I went to fight with the giants, but I did that for you. They said you were just a vase."

"I know," Frigga said with a gentle smile. "That's why I'm here, isn't it?"

Odin paused, and finally helplessly shook his head, very simply stating the things he was worried about in his heart.

"Some things have happened in Midgard. I want Thor to go and solve them."

Frigga didn't interrupt. She knew that if it was just a little small matter, the great god who rules the Nine Realms wouldn't pay attention to it, let alone send his most valiant and skilled son to solve it.

Odin has more than one son. Balder, Hermod, and Vidar, although these three are not as good as Thor, they each have their own strengths and can stand alone. Moreover, they all have time. If it were just ordinary business, it wouldn't be worth calling back the busy Thor.

"I felt Tyr's presence," Odin said calmly.

Frigga's pupils suddenly constricted, but she quickly recovered. However, for the Queen who has experienced great storms to lose composure, even for just a short moment, it was enough to prove the seriousness of the matter.

"That's impossible. Tyr is already dead."

"Yes, we all know that. It's a generally accepted fact." Odin let out a long breath. "But I did feel a huge power from war, and that power came from Midgard."

"Could it be Ares?" Frigga stepped forward. "Or Athena? Gods of War are everywhere. Could you be mistaken?"

"That power comes from Asgardian. I cannot be wrong. I'm not so senile that I can't distinguish these."

Odin shook his head, denying Frigga's guess. The latter pondered for a while and then continued, "But back then, Tyr indeed did not go to the Hall of Valor you established. We searched through the Nine Realms but couldn't find his soul. Maybe he didn't die at all?"

The corpse is still there, but the soul disappeared. This matter is also a rare thing for Asgard. After all, playing with life and soul is an evil thing everywhere.

If it's really like Frigga guessed, and someone dared to play with the soul of great god Odin's eldest son, if this matter were to be known by the Asgardian people, it would definitely cause public outrage, and might even trigger a national war.

Frigga was equally angry, but as the Queen, she couldn't instigate Odin to start a national war because of selfish desires. At this time, she should remain calm and advise Odin not to be blinded by anger.

But Odin did not show the emotion of anger. He was as calm as if he wasn't the lion in Frigga's memory.

"The truth of the matter can only be determined after Thor investigates the truth."

...

"Heimdall!"

A tall man wearing heavy armor turned his head. The horn-style helmet he wore was unusually large, and it was unknown whether it would affect his line of sight.

"Oh, it's Thor." Heimdall turned around laughing loudly and walked towards Thor. The two strong men quickly hugged each other, and the armor on their bodies collided, making a clang sound.

"Aren't you maintaining the order of the Nine Realms at the frontline? How do you have time to come see this old timer guarding the bridge?"

"Father has assigned me a new mission." Thor said with a smile, lifting a jar the size of a human head. "Asgard's wine. I forgot to bring it last time. This time, I'm resupplying you with both this time and last time's."

"This thing still looks familiar." Heimdall laughed heartily and quickly snatched the wine jar. Listening to the sound of wine and pottery jar colliding inside, he felt it was simply the most beautiful music in the world.

"Originally, I wanted to invite you to enjoy it together, but the God King has assigned you a mission. No way, I can only enjoy it alone."

Looking at Heimdall's triumphant smile, Thor could only helplessly shake his head and smiled speechlessly.

"Yeah, it's really unfortunate. Looks like I have no chance to taste it."

Heimdall laughed heartily, and then he put away the wine jar, along with the smile on his face, and said seriously to Thor.

"Be careful, Thor. The God King specifically called you back, which proves that other princes can't do this matter. This indicates that this mission may be very dangerous."

Thor also said solemnly, "I know, Heimdall, but Asgardians are not afraid of any danger. My hammer can smash all obstacles!"
