"Obviously, those arrogant individuals treated my words as if they went in one ear and out the other."
Hyperion spoke unhurriedly, his steady voice reaching everyone's ears.
"I should have expected this long ago. Those selfish people only think of themselves. They only consider what their own superpowers bring them, without ever considering the feelings of others."
"Since that's the case, I will no longer treat people like you as civilians."
Hyperion's tone shifted, becoming extremely stern.
"You will all be considered hidden criminals, and I will employ decisive measures to sanction you!"
As soon as Hyperion finished speaking, the scene erupted in an uproar because his words were simply too presumptuous.
He was a superhero whose law enforcement authority had already been officially revoked, possessing no power at all to register others' information.
However, this matter ultimately benefited the general public, so various circles had turned a blind eye, choosing to let the Superhumans suffer for the time being.
But turning a blind eye didn't mean becoming completely blind.
For Hyperion to say such a thing, either the government had granted him the relevant authority, or he had disregarded the government and unilaterally granted himself the power.
Either possibility was major news.
Eddie Brock felt blessed by Lady Luck; this news was far more explosive than anything involving some scientist.
"Eat shit, you damn leader."
Eddie grinned menacingly, holding his recording device high and securing his prime position.
"I'm about to step all over you."
"There are quite a few reporters present, so I'll just make the announcement directly."
Hyperion pressed his right index finger to the earpiece on his ear and whispered a few words.
Behind him, the main entrance of the Squadron Supreme Tower stirred once more.
Everyone present turned their gazes back towards the tower entrance, only to see a disheveled young man in a white lab coat walking out.
He was clearly a researcher.
Just as people were guessing his identity, Hyperion took the initiative to announce it.
"I want to solemnly introduce to you all, Bruce Banner, a super-genius holding multiple degrees, and an indispensable part of helping me complete my plan."
Hyperion descended gracefully to stand beside Banner and continued, "With Bruce's help, we have finally achieved a great feat destined to be recorded in the annals of history – Superhuman location and tracking!"
"What!"
"That's impossible!"
The scene erupted in discussion once again.
The reporters present hastily pulled out their phones to contact their newspapers or television stations; this major news had to be released quickly.
Hyperion ignored the noisy crowd and continued speaking loudly, "With this technology, we can search out the Superhumans hiding within the population. Those Superhuman criminals will no longer be able to escape our pursuit!"
Just as Hyperion finished speaking, a distinct sound of something tearing through the air came from above.
Before anyone present could look up, several figures plummeted straight down from the sky, smashing heavily onto the ground.
Dong!
A commotion broke out at the scene, but it quickly subsided because they clearly saw what had landed.
Familiar metal bodies, looking just like Iron Man's armor— based on the design of Howard Stark.
Could he be involved in this matter too?
"Allow me to introduce my other helper: Stark Industries."
Hyperion gestured towards the iron figures.
"These are all robots equipped with Superhuman detection capabilities. Their mission is to seek out those Superhumans and apprehend them."
Hyperion appeared high-spirited, but only Banner standing beside him knew that these Sentinel Robots were rushed productions.
Their appearance mimicked Howard's armor.
The descent from the sky wasn't for dramatic effect; it was simply because these vigilantes had just been en route.
The shimmering metallic color indicated they hadn't even been painted, lacking even the Stark Industries logo.
However, for an order placed last night to result in finished products this morning, likely only Stark Industries possessed such capability worldwide.
But Howard had guaranteed upon shipment that these lumps of iron were not just for show.
"It seems many people here don't believe it."
Hyperion looked at the noisy crowd with a faint smile.
"Then let me show you their power! Sentinel Robots!"
Whirrr!
Hearing Hyperion call their name, the eyes of all the robots lit up with green light, and the humming sound indicating machine operation started simultaneously.
"Find the Superhumans hiding in the crowd!"
Swish.
The eyes of the five Sentinel Robots each shot out a beam of green light, scanning the crowd present.
Some people tried to dodge the unsettling green beams, but their speed was clearly no match for the robots' scanning speed.
Ding ding ding!
Suddenly, the green light in the eyes of one Sentinel Robot turned red.
That red beam locked onto a young boy hiding in the crowd.
Seeing the people around him scattering, the boy showed obvious panic.
Ding ding ding!
After that Sentinel Robot locked onto the target, all the Sentinel Robots stopped scanning and turned to face the boy.
Faced with five red beams locked onto him, even an adult would panic, let alone a teenager.
The boy chose the worst course of action: he pushed through the surrounding people and turned to flee.
His strength was surprisingly great, and the crowd couldn't hold him back.
"It seems the criminal has been found."
Hyperion said coldly.
"Now, capture that criminal!"
The moment Hyperion finished speaking, all the Sentinel Robots immediately shot into the air, their thrusters blasting out scorching flames.
In the blink of an eye, the five robots caught up to the fleeing boy.
"Stay away from me!"
the boy yelled, simultaneously throwing something like flames from his hands, trying to repel the airborne Sentinel Robots.
But it was clearly futile.
The scorching flames struck the Sentinel Robots' armor, only to explode into countless sparks, unable to leave even a single burn mark.
The boy was instantly aghast; no longer focusing on attacking, he began to concentrate solely on escaping.
But how could two legs possibly outrun robots flying in the sky?
In an instant, the five robots formed an encirclement, trapping the boy inside.
"Fugitive Superhuman, you are under arrest."
The emotionless mechanical voice rang out, perfectly complementing the Sentinel Robots' steel faces.
"Resistance is futile. Surrender peacefully, or we will take coercive measures."
"Don't touch me! You tin cans!"
The boy was clearly terrified out of his wits, recklessly throwing flames from his hands.
"Resistance encountered! Initiating capture!"
