Chapter 483: A Wonderful Family

Although Yang Le quoted Homelander's Famous Saying, there was no insincerity in his words. To confront a Superhuman who could casually shatter Reinforced Concrete with a Mortal Body indeed required immense courage.

After saying this, Yang Le didn't linger. Relying on Ultimate Fourarms' exaggerated jumping power, he leaped high like Flight, soaring into the Clouds.

After Yang Le soared into the sky, he began to fall rapidly under the effect of Gravity. During this process, he also continuously searched for his Goal.

After receiving more Message from the Soldier, Yang Le also prioritized the districts in his mind. In his opinion, the most important Goal at present should be Manhattan.

According to the Message given by the Soldier, Manhattan, being located in the Core area, still had many Ordinary Person who had not evacuated. Obviously, that was the area that should be resolved first.

In fact, the importance of the surrounding areas was also not low. After all, Giants were not without the possibility of escaping. If they were allowed to spread to the surrounding City, that would be terrible.

However, the Military had obviously also thought of this. They had already deployed an Encirclement Net around New York City to prevent Giants from spreading outwards, so Yang Le didn't need to worry about the surrounding areas for the time being.

So, based on the current situation, Manhattan was still Yang Le's primary Goal. For example, his Eyes now saw a Goal that urgently needed help.

It seemed to be a Robot with a strange shape, blocking a Giant's path forward and wrestling with the Giant. Around them were several Human, a Woman was trying hard to help a Man get up from the Ground.

In front of them was another Man carrying a huge Backpack. The Man seemed to be holding something in his hand as well. What he was holding was connected to the Backpack. Yang Le couldn't see the details clearly; Ultimate Fourarms' Vision wasn't that good.

But it seemed that those Human really needed his help. Without much thought, the enhanced limbs behind him sprayed flames again. Yang Le increased Speed and rushed towards that Direction.

"We need to hurry, Susan. Ben won't last much longer."

The thin Man carrying the Backpack shouted to the siblings behind him without turning his head. Upon hearing the Man's words, the older sister immediately quickened her pace, but her Younger brother, whom she was supporting, was clearly having trouble with his Foot. His calf was, to say the least, 'raised' awkwardly.

"Don't worry about me, sis." The Younger brother's Face was stiff, and beads of sweat were dripping from his Forehead. Clearly, he was in terrible pain.

"Hurry and run with Reed and Ben. You won't get far carrying me."

"It's the 21st century, Johnny." The older sister looked at her Younger brother seriously. "You don't need to run yourself, and no one will carry you on their Back. But we have a Car. Do you know what a Car is? It's the thing you drive out every day to pick up girls."

"Bang!"
A loud Sound came, followed by a teeth-grinding Sound like Nails scratching a Blackboard, then another loud Sound, and then the crackling Sound of Glass Shattering.

"Uh, can we go back to the 19th century now?" Reed looked at the Car beside him, crushed by something like a backhoe Claw. "We might need a few Horse."

"If you can build a Time Machine." Johnny stood up, supported by Susan.

"You know, if I want to, I definitely can."

"You should say such cool Words to my sister, not to me, a cripple."

"Is this the Time to talk about this?" Susan interrupted the men's Nonsense impatiently. "Think of a Method, Mr. Brainiac, we're about to Death!"

"It's okay, Susan." Reed ran to another Car not far away. Obviously, its Master had abandoned it to escape for his life.

"No Key, I knew it." Reed muttered to himself as he smashed the Window of the Car. Then he opened the Lock, sat in the driver's seat, and began to pull out a few wires like in a Movie, preparing to start the Car without relying on the Key.

"Boom!"
While the others were talking, Ben, who was piloting that ugly Robot, was still entangled with the Giant. Ben's combat Consciousness was very strong. Relying on this crude Robot that Reed had cobbled together in just ten minutes, he was actually able to exchange blows with the Giant for so long.

But the output of this thing was still too low. Finally, the Giant seized a Weakness and tore off an Arm—the same backhoe Claw that had crushed everyone's Car. Losing one Hand, Ben was naturally no longer the Giant's opponent. After persisting for a few more minutes, the Robot finally became overwhelmed and was about to be scrapped.

Ben could only pull down the escape Device that Reed had left him. Then, before he could even sit still, he was ejected from the Robot along with the seat.

"Vroom!"
The Car's Engine roared. Reed said easily, "Alright, it's started. Call Ben, we should escape."

"Bang!"
The same collision Sound and Glass Shattering Sound came again. Reed, sitting in the driver's seat of the Car, looked at Ben sitting in the office chair outside the windowless front Window. The two stared at each other, big Eyes to big Eyes.

"Good News, I'm here." Ben smiled.

"Bad News, the Engine is gone." Reed couldn't hold it together anymore.

"There's another Bad News, the Giant is chasing after us!" Susan watched in despair as the Giant rushed towards them on all fours, feeling that she was definitely going to die today.

"Don't worry, I still have a Method." Reed quickly jumped out of the driver's seat, took out something that looked like a Hair Dryer from his Belt, held it in both hands, and aimed it at the Giant rushing towards them.

The thing that looked like a Hair Dryer was connected to the Backpack on his Back by a finger-thick Pipe. Susan recognized those things. What Reed was holding in his hand was her Hair Dryer, the Pipe was taken from the Washing Machine, and a circle of black insulation sponge was wrapped around it. As for the Backpack, it seemed to be her Hermes Backpack.

"This is a Freeze Gun I made incidentally when I was building Mecha for Ben!" Reed explained. "Low temperature is the nemesis of most Creature. This thing should be able to temporarily trap him."

Reed pressed the Button of the Hair Dryer, and a cold blue Light Beam shot out from the air outlet. Unfortunately, Reed's aim wasn't very good. He was clearly aiming at the Giant's head, but the Light Ray went towards the Giant's Foot.

Although Reed's aim was not good, his Technology was beyond Question. The moment the cold blue Light Beam touched the Giant, a layer of Frost instantly appeared on the Giant's Ankle. The Giant, insensitive to pain, stepped forward again regardless, but his Ankle would not allow him to do so.

"Crack!"
Just like the Sound of chewing Potato Chips, the Giant's Ankle, after Freezing, couldn't withstand the Power and broke directly. Losing his foothold, the Giant immediately fell headfirst into the mud.

"It worked!" Susan and the others were overjoyed.
