Chapter 451 Parker Family

"Don't run around, Cindy."

Facing her brother's warning, the black-haired girl didn't pay much attention and continued walking forward on her own. The young man behind her had no choice but to walk faster to catch up.

"At least you should wait for me. It's really hard to keep up with you."

Cindy pouted her lips in dissatisfaction. She still didn't intend to pay attention to her brother. Today was her first dance at Midtown High School. They had originally agreed to attend as a family, but now only her brother could come.

Originally, Cindy shouldn't have vented her resentment on the only brother who could come. But with her parents not here, and being used to her brother's doting, Cindy was subconsciously sulking with her brother who spoiled her.

"Cindy, you should understand Papa and Mama. Their research is at a critical moment and they really can't leave," the young man said with a flattering smile, but the education on his lips slipped out opportunistically.

The girl, who considered herself grown up, of course knew her parents' difficulties, but that didn't mean she liked others pointing it out and using it to educate her. It made her feel embarrassed.

"How amazing," Cindy said in a low voice, in a strange tone. "For the past week, they could come home on time every day, but today, at this most critical moment, they're not here. It's like they're hiding from me."

"Cindy," the young man said, emphasizing his tone slightly. "No one can say for sure about things in scientific research. This experiment is related to Papa and Mama and Uncle Norman's company."

"Yes, yes, yes, I know, I don't need the great Peter Parker to lecture me," Cindy said irritably, patting her brother's shoulder, but not with much force.

"Compared to the great Peter Parker, the cute Cindy Parker is more liked by everyone," Peter said dotingly, ruffling Cindy's hair, making the girl dissatisfied.

"Stop it, you're messing it up."

"Vroom vroom vroom!"

The sudden roar of an engine interrupted the sibling's playful fight. A black sports car of unknown brand suddenly stopped at the school gate. Its beautiful shape made Peter, who was at the right age, lose his mind.

"What a beauty," Peter said blankly. Cindy beside him rolled her eyes.

"I'm going to tell Mary Jane!"

"It's just a car, Cindy," Peter said with a helpless smile. In fact, not only Peter, but many students in the school, and even some adults, stopped for this suddenly appearing sports car.

Cindy ignored her brother. She was also curious about the suddenly appearing strange sports car. Of course, she wasn't interested in the sports car itself, but in the person in the sports car.

"Is that? Gwen Stacy?" Cindy said in surprise.

"How do you know that girl?" Peter asked curiously.

"She's the transfer school senior I told you about before, the popular one." Cindy rolled her eyes at the forgetful Peter.

Reminded by Cindy, Peter remembered and said with a sudden realization, "Is that the one who is both talented and beautiful, rejected all the boys' advances, and then publicly announced that she has a boyfriend?"

"That's right." Cindy stared intently at the convertible. She also wanted to see what kind of person this senior Gwen's boyfriend was. After all, the girl was so excellent, the boyfriend certainly wouldn't be too bad either.

Under the gaze of many passersby, Gwen's mysterious boyfriend finally revealed himself. Yang Le didn't choose to jump out of the convertible, a seemingly dashing but actually cheesy behavior, but honestly waited for the door to open by itself and got out of the car.

A person who seemed to be staff from the school walked over and said to Yang Le, "Excuse me, sir, cars can't be parked here. Midtown High School has a special parking lot prepared for guests."

This made some people who were still not giving up on Gwen secretly laugh. After all, this could be considered Yang Le losing respect. If their rival in love lost respect, they would definitely be happy.

"Oh," Yang Le asked with a normal face, as if he hadn't been affected at all, "Then, may I ask, where is the parking lot?"

The staff still politely narrated the address of the parking lot clearly, and very responsibly offered that if Yang Le didn't know the way, he could go with him. It would be even better if he could sit in the passenger seat and guide him.

Who would have thought that Yang Le just waved his hand and then said, "No need, let's go."

The staff knew the first half of the sentence was addressed to him, but the second half shouldn't be addressed to him. In fact, Yang Le's first half of the sentence shouldn't have been a refusal either. However, before he could ask, the convertible without anyone in it actually started itself.

"Vroom vroom vroom!"

Accompanied by the powerful sound of the engine and the dumbfounded expressions of the passersby, the convertible began to move towards the destination according to the staff's previous narration.

Saying thank you to the dumbfounded staff, Yang Le took Gwen's hand, who was about to burst out laughing, and walked towards the venue of the students' dance.

"Using alien technology to bully humans," Gwen looked at Yang Le playfully. "You're really something, you cunning otherworlder."

"You are also an otherworlder now, Miss Stacy," Yang Le said with a smile, reminding the other party of her identity, but only received Gwen's funny face and tongue-sticking-out response.

"What a perfect couple," Peter said. Peter had just searched through all the cars in his brain and found that none of them matched the one in front of him. As a scientist, he naturally thought that this car was Yang Le's own invention.

Even if it wasn't Yang Le's invention, the fact that he could own this car equipped with artificial intelligence indicated that his identity was definitely not low.

"No wonder your senior couldn't stand the suitors in school."

Peter seemed to have suddenly realized. Yes, there were indeed many wealthy and noble students in Midtown High School, but in front of the other party's mature artificial intelligence, it was like using a cannon to shoot mosquitoes, a dimensional reduction strike.

"Don't bring your old man's thoughts into us," Cindy rolled her eyes at Peter. Teenagers' conditions for choosing a partner wouldn't be completely mixed with reality factors.

"I, I'm only thirty years old this year," Peter couldn't help but bend down, as if he had been greatly hit.

"Isn't that an old man?" Cindy added another blow, but Peter continued to speak with his head buried low.

"If you don't work harder, Mary Jane will be with someone else. Then you can go find Uncle Harry and spend your whole life with him."

Peter Parker was unable to get up again.

"Are you really not going to take a look at your Papa's side?" Xue Xi looked at Tony Stark in front of her. He was holding a goblet, gently shaking the red liquid inside.

"No matter how fast you shake it, Strawberry Drink won't turn into Red Wine, Tony."

The underage Tony Stark froze in place all of a sudden. The atmosphere of a business tycoon just now dissipated with it.

The exposed Tony said irritably, "They're going to do something similar to a technology exhibition over there today. I'm not going there."
