Chapter 433 X-Men VS Hyperion
The situation on the Battlefield was changing rapidly. In the blink of an eye, only Hyperion of the Supreme Squadron was left standing. But in fact, this last person standing was the most important, even more important than all the other members of the Supreme Squadron combined.
Cosmic Control gathered in Hyperion's fist. With a casual blow, Hyperion shattered the Lightning summoned by Storm in her rage. Watching his teammates fall one by one, he knew he couldn't delay any longer, or the situation might get even worse.
He abandoned his initial Goal and instead flew towards Cyclops and Gambit. Hyperion, descending from the Sky, first fired Atomic Ray to force back the two who were approaching Doctor Spectrum and Arcanna. After bringing his teammates to a safe Distance, he flew towards Colossus again.
Colossus, with the fearlessness of youth, faced Hyperion flying towards him without dodging or evading. He raised his hands, preparing to intercept Hyperion as he had dealt with Power Princess.
Facing the aggressive Colossus, Hyperion was somewhat hesitant. This wasn't because he feared Colossus, but because he was afraid of seriously injuring Colossus as well, just like Yang Le.
Originally, Hyperion hadn't actually used too much force against Yang Le. However, Swampfire's Talent was entirely focused on Recovery. His Defense Power couldn't be said to be non-existent, but it was negligible. Hyperion's slightly stronger Punch could shatter his Body.
Although his Body was shattered, there was actually no Damage at all. For Swampfire, this couldn't even be considered an injury.
However, Yang Le himself was perfectly clear about this, but others didn't know. Everyone present, without exception, thought Yang Le had been seriously injured.
Yang Le had already begun preparing to heal his Wound when he fell from the Sky. After being caught by Storm, he thought that playing dead might create an Opportunity for a Sneak Attack, so he didn't immediately recover and get up. He hadn't expected that this single thought would change the situation on the Battlefield.
Don't underestimate the few Mutants on the Battlefield. These people are the main force of the X-Men. Storm needs no further introduction, one of the few Omega-Level Mutants. In her prime, destroying Earth would be a snap of her fingers.
Cyclops Scott, if he released his Ability at full Power, also possessed the Strength to destroy a Planet. Gambit is also a powerful Mutant with the Old Joke of 'inverting the Earth and blowing it up'.
The honest Child Colossus is one of the few people on Earth who can directly confront Juggernaut. As for Magik, who hasn't joined the battle yet, she is even more heavyweight. In the Comics, she cuts down other Dimension Demon Gods to the point where they complain she is too strong.
If Yang Le remembered correctly, a Dimensional Demon God was even defeated by Magik in his own Dimension Force. As for which embarrassing thing it was, he couldn't quite remember. You should know that Dimensional Demon Gods have a home-field advantage in their own Dimension, and it's no exaggeration to say they are omnipotent. Even so, losing made Yang Le wonder if Magik was too strong or that guy was too incompetent.
These people are more than enough to deal with the Supreme Squadron. After all, the strongest in the Supreme Squadron is Hyperion. As expected, with the other Mutants exerting their Power, only Hyperion of the Supreme Squadron was left standing.
Seeing everyone working so hard because he was injured, Yang Le was actually a little embarrassed to get up. However, this last remaining Hyperion was not easy to deal with. He really had the Strength to take on everyone present single-handedly.
Yang Le in Swampfire State really couldn't do anything about Hyperion. There was no way around it, the Stats difference was just too great. Hyperion, this Character written based on Superman, was a pure Monster, possessing a beauty of Stats.
Wait? Stats Monster?
…
"Bang!"
Hyperion, being a little more cautious, was indeed blocked by Colossus. After a brief stalemate, Hyperion discovered that the Defense Power of the Iron Man in front of him was much stronger than the previous Swampfire. It could be said to be like Heaven and Ground.
The opponent was strong enough. Hyperion confidently increased his Strength. But the more he increased his Strength, the more surprised he became, because the Strength he was now using had far exceeded the Limit that Power Princess could withstand, but Colossus in front of him had obviously not reached his Limit yet.
Seeing this situation, Hyperion, who was always cautious in his daily Life, rarely let go and unleashed the Strength he had never dared to show before, opening up the Restriction.
Colossus gritted his Teeth. His current situation was the same as Power Princess's before, except this time he had become the weaker party. His Body, turned to Metal, continuously emitted teeth-aching sounds. Facing Hyperion, whose Strength was gradually increasing, Colossus, who had never encountered an opponent in terms of Strength, felt powerless for the first time.
Colossus was gradually falling into a disadvantage and would probably be defeated soon. But he was not alone. Illyana, who was watching the battle from the side and recovering her Stamina, once again drew her Soul Sword and used Light Disc to teleport herself behind Hyperion, preparing to help her Brother.
Hyperion knew that Magik's Greatsword was strange. Although he was confident in his Defense Power, he was unwilling to gamble at this time. He mobilized his whole Body's Muscle and actually pushed Colossus away, sending him flying.
Illyana's Sword missed. Seeing her Brother being swept away, she immediately became anxious, but then she heard someone call out to her from the side.
"Use your Ability to teleport me!" Cyclops quickly ran to Illyana's side. The latter immediately understood and waved her hand casually. A Light Disc appeared under Cyclops's feet. Cyclops fell into it and disappeared.
But the next second, he appeared in the Air, right behind Hyperion. Cyclops didn't waste Time, raised his Eyes, and fired a Laser directly into Hyperion's Back.
Hyperion also hadn't expected anyone to Sneak Attack him at this time. In pain, he released his Hand holding Colossus. Colossus, without Flight Ability, began to free fall from the Air towards the Ground.
Seeing this, Magik summoned two more Light Discs, one under Cyclops and one under Colossus, teleporting both of them back to the Ground, receiving them by her side.
"A novel experience." Scott steadied his Footsteps. He was still a little unaccustomed to the change from being directly in the Air to the Ground.
"Hope you like it." Illyana supported Colossus, showing a sweet Smile to Scott. At this time, the other Mutants also gathered around.
Ororo descended from High Altitude, holding Yang Le, who was missing half of his Body. The anxiety in her Gaze couldn't be hidden no matter what. Her voice trembled as she said, "Swampfire hasn't moved since just now."
"What?" Gambit, who had just run over, was shocked. He hurriedly rushed to Yang Le's side and found that, just as Ororo had said, Yang Le was indeed motionless with his Eyes closed.
He put his Ear to Yang Le's Chest, held his breath, and heard a faint vibration. Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief. He immediately straightened up and shouted.
"Quickly contact Jean Grey and have Beast bring the Aircraft over. Swampfire is dying!"
