Even when hot-blooded, the cunning and calm demon still glanced at Constantine’s right hand. He first saw a very simple contract, and then felt a breath of God on it.

It was as if he had been doused with a basin of cold water. The demon’s body, like a deflated ball, visibly withered at a speed visible to the naked eye. When his body shape returned to normal, he looked at Constantine with a sycophantic expression.

“Oh, isn’t this Constantine, sir? I just ate my younger brother a while ago and haven’t digested him yet. Just now, my sanity went wrong again. Thanks to you slapping me, I came back to my senses. Why don’t you slap me a few more times to make me more clear-headed?”

Such a sycophantic and opportunistic demon made the three bystanders speechless. Unlike them, Constantine was already used to this. His expression was as usual, and he just raised his eyebrows at the demon.

The demon immediately understood. After snapping his fingers, a faint flame immediately lit the cigarette that Constantine had been holding in his mouth for a long time. Yang Le finally understood why he hadn’t lit it for so long; it turned out it was for this.

Constantine took a puff of cigarette and said lazily, “Not bad, Malphas. In all of Hell, you are the most capable.”

“Look at what you’re saying.” Malphas rubbed his four hands, with a flattering expression. “I was awakened by your slap. It’s all your merit.”

“Are all demons in Hell this kind of goods?” Zatanna felt unbelievable. This was completely different from what she had learned in books. Where was the viciousness and cunning in their words? Why are they like a dog?

“Huff.” Constantine exhaled a puff of smoke. “You have to remember, Little Zat, demons are not something you can understand just by reading books. They are fickle. You’ll understand when you and I have more contact with them. Now let’s get down to serious business, or else my house will be marinated in this guy’s stench later.”

“You are right.” Malphas continued to rub his hands like flies. “If you have anything, just order me to do it, so that I won’t get in your way.”

Constantine stepped aside, and nodded his mouth at Yang Le and the others, the meaning was self-evident. Wonder Woman immediately understood and stepped forward.

“I need you to help me find Witch Circe.”

“Find who?” Malphas couldn’t hold it anymore, and even the flattering expression couldn’t be maintained. “Witch Circe? That’s a witch who has lived from the Age of Gods until now.”

“Who asked you to introduce her?” Constantine said sternly. “Hurry up, can you do it or not? If you can’t…”

Constantine raised his right hand, as if scratching his head, casually showing his right hand. Malphas once again felt the faint breath of God.

‘Very dirty Hell language curse words!’ Malphas used the dirtiest language he could think of to insult Constantine in his heart.

He didn’t know how this addict got the favor of God. Because he was too fearful, he didn’t even dare to look closely at the contract. But no matter who the master of that contract was, it was not someone a small demon like himself could afford to offend. In comparison, Witch Circe was simpler. At worst, he just wouldn’t come to the Mortal Realm for hundreds of years.

“Yes.” Malphas nodded, gritting his teeth. “However, I have to pay a lot of souls in my hand. I wonder if Constantine, sir, can find a method to help me reduce some losses.”

“None of my business.” Constantine said with a smile.

‘Fine! You have guts!’ Malphas quickly lowered his head, afraid that if he looked at Constantine’s smug expression again, he would be so angry that his soul would scatter.

“Please wait a moment, everyone. I’ll be right back.”

After Malphas finished speaking, he dived into the blood underfoot and disappeared without a trace.

“Will it run away?” Zatanna asked.

“It’s ‘it’, Little Zat.” Constantine corrected Zatanna’s address. “Don’t worry, when I summoned it, the contract was already established. It must fulfill my request, otherwise the contract will take half of its life. Demons are garbage, but they do keep their promises.”

Sure enough, after a while, Malphas drilled out of the blood again, and at the same time, he was holding a parchment in his hand. Seeing his pained expression, one could tell that he must have paid a considerable price.

Malphas handed the parchment in his hand to Constantine and said, “This is the position of Witch Circe now. Now we can complete the business.”

Constantine took the parchment without even looking at it, and directly handed it to Wonder Woman behind him. Then he took out a small jar made of pottery from his trench coat and threw it to Malphas.

“Here, the soul of the enemy. I was originally going to use this to trade with you myself, but today I’ll let you have it cheap.”

Malphas cursed Constantine in his heart constantly. The soul of the enemy, if it were in the past, he might have been very happy. But today, in order to fulfill Constantine’s request, what he lost was far more than this one soul could make up for. But when he thought of the God behind Constantine, he could only swallow his broken teeth and blood, otherwise his life might be in danger.

“Is it definitely accurate?” Wonder Woman looked at the parchment, but still asked worriedly.

Without waiting for Malphas to answer, Constantine preemptively replied, “Don’t worry, it can’t lie to us. The contract won’t allow it.”

“In that case, thank you, Constantine.” Diana memorized the address on it, then put away the parchment, and turned to leave. She couldn’t wait to kill her enemy with her own hands. Of course, she didn’t forget her promise, and dragged Zatanna aside. Letting the other party be alone with Constantine was definitely not okay.

Zatanna still wanted to resist, but Wonder Woman didn’t talk nonsense. She drew out the Lasso of Truth and tied up the other party, saying, “Sorry, Zatanna, although I promised your father, I don’t have time to play with you. I can only wrong you a little.”

Yang Le also followed. When he reached the doorway, he seemed to remember something and said to Malphas, who was behind him and Constantine, who were finalizing the contract.

“By the way, demon, although I don’t know why you are so afraid of Constantine, you might as well take a closer look at the contract on his hand.”

Hearing these words, both Malphas and Constantine were stunned. Both of them looked at Constantine’s right hand. To Malphas’s surprise, the trace of breath representing God had disappeared.

No, it’s better to say that the contract has fallen into a very strange state, as if the other signatory of the contract has disappeared. If it weren’t for Constantine’s breath still on the contract, Malphas would have thought that this addict had put on a tattoo sticker to tease him.

“What’s going on!” Constantine also noticed something was wrong. He immediately looked at Yang Le, but found that the latter was hiding behind the doorway looking at him. The narrow doorway allowed Constantine to only see half of the other party’s face showing a mocking expression, and the middle finger pointed out by his right hand that stretched in.

All of this was exactly the same as what he did to the First of the Fallen at the end of his famous battle.

“Click.”

As the door of the house gently closed, Constantine felt that he was shrouded in a huge black shadow.
