Chapter 344 Three-Person Trip
Three days had passed since the Young Justice League disbanded. Because of those Bear Kids' reckless actions, Yang Le, who had just landed a decent job, became unemployed again.
Honestly, when he first received the news, Yang Le felt like it was April Fool's Day. However, considering it was Batman who called to inform him, Yang Le had no choice but to believe it.
Yang Le was speechless, unsure whether to be happy or sad. Happy because he got a vacation right after receiving a huge salary, and sad because this vacation was indefinite.
Although Yang Le didn't think Batman and the others would really turn those kids back into Ordinary Person, Batman's mention of "indefinite" still made Yang Le uneasy. After all, the guy's mental state was questionable; he might actually make those kids live as Ordinary Person for a few months.
But dwelling on it now was useless. What's done is done. Time Reversal couldn't be used for such a Small Matter. Since he was on vacation, he might as well continue his trip as planned.
So, Yang Le drove his Little Broken Car and embarked on his journey, leaving all the Young Justice League matters to his Mutant Clone.
The Mutant Clone only learned about the Main Body's departure the next day. To avoid being caught by Cyborg or having Batman discover any Clues, Yang Le didn't specifically notify the Mutant Clone. Instead, he left a Note at Justice Mountain, which read: "I'm going out to play. Notify me if anything happens."
Although he was a Clone, they were essentially the same person. The Mutant Yang Le understood Yang Le's Idea the moment he saw the Note. At that moment, he had a thousand words in his Belly, but he could only keep them bottled up.
Initially, the Mutant Yang Le had some Complaint, but after living in Justice Mountain for two days, this Emotion disappeared. Because the Facility in Justice Mountain was very complete. Basic living Facility aside, there were also many entertainment Facility.
After all, Super Hero were also Creature. They experienced many battles in each Mission, and these would accumulate into Pressure little by little. To release this Pressure, some entertainment was naturally needed.
Adults had many ways to release Pressure: drinking, shopping, Party, and… ahem, in short, many of them were not suitable for Teenager. Therefore, as the Base of the Young Justice League, Justice Mountain naturally had many ways for Teenager to de-stress.
Table Games, Game Console, Computer, all sorts of things almost filled an entire House. Kid Flash (Wally West) was originally very excited about this Room, but unfortunately, he hadn't even used it once before being banned from Hero Activities.
And these fun things were naturally enjoyed by Yang Le, Superboy, and Megan. Yes, and Megan, because she had just arrived on Earth not long ago and didn't really have a place to live. She had been staying at Martian Manhunter's Home before, but Martian Manhunter wanted her to interact more with peers, and also needed someone to watch over Superboy and Yang Le. This Mission fell to Megan.
At first, the three of them were a bit reserved. Actually, it was mainly Superboy and Megan who were reserved with each other. Yang Le, apart from pretending not to understand at the beginning, was having a lot of fun later on.
These two were completely evenly matched. Megan didn't know how to interact with people other than Martian, and Superboy simply didn't know how to interact with anyone. It was hard to imagine what would have happened between these two if not for Yang Le.
Megan was always actively looking for Topic, trying to build a good relationship with Yang Le and the others, but Superboy's Response was always cold. As for Yang Le, he was a bit tired of Megan's old-fashioned American Teen Drama way of making friends.
Megan always acted exaggeratedly in some places. It was obviously something actors in TV Drama would do to emphasize their Emotion. Fortunately, because Megan's Human Form was Cute, Yang Le felt okay. If it were the protagonist from "I Am Not Starfire" doing these actions, Yang Le estimated he would have couldn't help but transform into Super Giant and shoot a Light Ray.
Speaking of Starfire, Yang Le was actually very curious about where this alien Princess, who was considered one of the official pairings of First Generation Robin, was now. He wondered if she would come to Earth in this Universe and have a sweet romance with the eldest son. Yang Le still quite liked this CP, not counting the one in Teen Titans Go!.
By the time Yang Le finished his daydreaming, the Fighting Games Character he was controlling had already been defeated by Superboy next to him.
"I won." Superboy Corner of Mouth curled up, smugly.
"Yeah, you won." Yang Le was a little helpless. After teaching Superboy how to play Video Games, especially in Fighting Games, he had never won against him once.
After all, he was Superman's Clone Body. Even though he only had half Kryptonian Gene, it still gave him reaction Ability that Ordinary Person could only dream of. Yang Le in Gene Mutant State was completely unable to compare with him.
Anyone who played Fighting Games knew that in a confrontation, you often needed to use prediction or feints to break the deadlock. But Superboy didn't need these at all. He could react as soon as he saw it with his Eyes. Even half a frame of Animation couldn't escape his Eyes.
Yang Le had already let go of it after two days of playing against this cheat-like player who played games by looking at pixels. But Superboy wasn't Invulnerability either. Above him, there was still a big boss.
"Then it's my turn next." Megan took the Controller from Yang Le's Hand and glanced at Superboy, who looked like he was facing a formidable enemy.
That's right, the big boss was Martian Girl Megan. Unlike Superboy, who was half Kryptonian, Megan was a complete Martian. And Martian's Physique was actually comparable to Kryptonian, 1 is greater than 0.5, so Superboy was almost always suppressed by Megan.
At first, Megan would still let Superboy win, but later Superboy saw through it and got angry, demanding that Megan not hold back. Megan stopped doing so.
The result was that Superboy, who could originally go back and forth with Megan, was directly abused by Megan from morning to night, making Superboy red-faced with anger, and he crushed quite a few Controller.
Megan was very worried when she saw Superboy getting angry at first, but Yang Le, who had been abused by Superboy all morning, didn't mind watching the fun and fully supported Megan to continue. And Superboy was also someone who refused to admit defeat. Even though his Eyes were red with anger, he still gritted his Teeth and shouted for another round.
Seeing this, Megan's psychology of pleasing others kicked in again, and she kept playing with Superboy until Superboy finally won once on his own. Only then did this competition come to an end.
That was the first time Superboy showed a hearty Smile. It was the first time he smiled like a real Child. That Smile also left a deep Mark in Megan's Heart.
