Chapter 313: Beating Up Kids 2.0

Parasite Demons, whether for Superman or the Justice League, were considered old rivals. Therefore, the Super Heroes in the Justice League, especially people like Green Arrow and Batman, had combat and treatment methods specifically for them.

Thanks to these pre-made preparations, Green Arrow easily treated Speedy. It was simple, nothing more than injecting some serum, used to consolidate and replenish the Energy lost from Speedy's Body.

Fortunately, Speedy was a Super Hero who had undergone long-term training, and the Parasite Demon hadn't absorbed too much Energy in order to threaten Green Arrow. However, even this level of absorption would leave an ordinary person weakened for ten days to half a month.

Although Speedy wouldn't be weak for that long, he certainly wouldn't be nimble for a week. What was absorbed was Life Energy, which was even more exaggerated than kidney deficiency.

"This kid can't attend parties for a week," Green Arrow said, walking towards the Living Area to the side and opening the refrigerator.

"Do you want something to Drink? Beer? Cola? Or Ice Ginger Juice?"

"Cola will do," Yang Le said, his Brow furrowing almost imperceptibly when he heard the last Drink Green Arrow mentioned. No one but Batman would Drink that stuff, right?

"OK!" Green Arrow took out two cans of Cola from the refrigerator, tossed one to Yang Le, and took the lead in opening his and taking a sip.

Yang Le reached out and caught the tossed can of Cola, unable to help but raise his Brow and say, "Nice throw."

This wasn't a compliment. Green Arrow's throw was highly accurate and powerful, allowing Yang Le to catch the Cola can while standing still and without any effort. Yang Le opened the Cola, and not even Foam surged out. Under normal circumstances, Cola that had undergone vigorous Exercise needed to be left to stand for a while before opening, precisely to prevent the Cola from spraying.

"Thanks for the praise, after all, it's my Means of making a living," Green Arrow said, lifting his hood and taking off his Mask, revealing his True Identity.

"Oliver Queen!" Yang Le exclaimed in Surprise, but Oliver waved his Hand helplessly.

"Stop pretending, your acting is terrible."

"Really?" Yang Le was genuinely Surprised this time. He was quite confident in his acting skills.

"Just kidding," Oliver took another sip of Cola. "I was just testing you, but seeing your Expression now, I'm sure you do know my True Identity."

Oliver finished his Cola in two gulps, crushed the can, and threw it into the Trash Can not far away, a perfect swish.

"Although I don't know how you know my True Identity, as a senior, I'll give you a piece of advice: when you're not sure, a Poker Face is the best Choice."

"Uh, okay." Yang Le scratched his head, who told him he was indeed tricked by the other party?

"There are many very smart Guys in this World," Oliver continued, leaning against the Wall. "Although they don't use their intelligence for good, it's undeniable that they are indeed very troublesome. Sometimes, even just a single Expression can become the key for them to defeat you."

"Have you heard of Joker?"

"I don't think anyone hasn't heard of him," Yang Le said seriously. That was the top dog of American Comics, a Guy who had been in the top three of the Villain Ranking for a long time, and together with Batman, they were known as the black and white devils of American Comics. Joker was white (referring to Skin), Batman was black (referring to the Dark Knight), and devil referred to the fact that both of them were mentally unstable (laughs).

"That's a very terrifying Guy," Oliver said, folding his Arms and tapping his Finger lightly on his Arm. "Just thinking about how old Bat might have to face that Guy every day, I admire him. If it were me, I might have gone crazy long ago."

'Maybe Batman was crazy from the start,' Yang Le thought with a Poker Face, applying what he had just learned.

"Among all the Bad Guys who fit my description, Joker is undoubtedly the most terrifying one," Oliver glanced at Speedy, who was still unconscious, paying attention to the latter's State.

"Joker will find the softest part of your Heart, and then use his twisted humor to cut it open, and even suggest sprinkling some salt on it, euphemistically calling it: a joke."

Oliver sighed and continued, "Fortunately, Batman has been suppressing him for so many years, but who knows how long this situation will last?"

Oliver's worries were correct. Joker seemed to be living under Batman's Cape like other Villains, but when he felt bored, he would break this Peaceful state and shatter the Life that Batman had painstakingly glued back together.

"I'm very afraid that a Villain like that will appear in Star City in the future," Oliver locked his gaze on Speedy, his gaze filled with gentleness and worry. "I myself am not afraid of any Challenge, but I'm worried about Roy."

"When we were on a Mission before, his good performance made me think I was just overthinking, but today's Mission made me realize that he might indeed not be ready yet."

A trace of wavering appeared in Oliver's Expression. When Roy was caught by the Parasite Demon, a trace of Fear actually appeared in his Heart. Although Roy was only his adopted son, he had already regarded the other party as his real Family.

"Hopefully, this injury will teach him a Lesson," Oliver shook his head and let out a long breath.

Looking at this old Father who was so worried about his Child, Yang Le also fell silent. This kind of sincere Feeling could always move people, but after a few seconds, his Expression changed again.

"I have an Idea," Yang Le, the newly promoted DC Idea King, said.

"What Idea?" Green Arrow was a little dazed. Yang Le's train of thought was too fast, and he hadn't kept up with the other party's train of thought.

"I can help you train Roy," the Corner of Yang Le's Mouth turned up in a smile that was even harder to suppress than the Omega Beams. "Aren't you worried that Roy will lose his little Life because of impulsiveness and arrogance? I think we can put on an Act, and I'll come forward as the Bad Person to give him a profound Lesson that he will never forget in this Life."

Green Arrow stroked his beard, thinking about the feasibility of Yang Le's Method. To be honest, this Method was indeed feasible.

Green Arrow bringing Speedy on Missions originally had the intention of training and helping the latter accumulate Experience, but because the Supervillain were too dangerous, Green Arrow always protected Speedy very well, not letting him directly face too much danger. This conflicted with his original Idea, which was putting the cart before the horse.

It wasn't that Green Arrow hadn't thought about asking some Colleagues for help, but they were all too familiar with each other. Not only would Speedy not feel a sense of Crisis, but even his Colleagues wouldn't be ruthless, making the good training look like a game of house, completely ineffective.

But Yang Le was different. He wasn't a member of the Justice League, and Roy knew nothing about him, so he might really be able to play a training role.

'Wait.' Green Arrow paused, he suddenly thought, what if all the Assistants in the Justice League participated?
