Chapter 71

chapter 043 part 2

“I saw the God of Dark Magic return because of you, Darkness consumed the Demonic Dragon, and destroyed the entire World Tree, yet amidst this disaster, there was no trace of the Vishanti.”

With each sentence the Ancient One uttered, Martin's brow furrowed tighter.

No doubt, when the Ancient One confronted Death, she saw Death's Avatar in this Universe. As for Thanos wiping out half the population, the implication was very interesting: it meant that in the future the Ancient One saw, Martin had lost the Infinity Stones, and Thanos, the Chosen One of Destiny, remained the ultimate victor.

The latter two visions, however, concerned Martin even more.

“Cyttorak and Chthon? Multiversal-level Deities like them, capable of contending with the Five Great Creation Gods, actually came for me?” Martin's expression turned serious as he repeated his question.

“Aside from coming for you, I can't imagine any other reason.”

The Ancient One replied.

Martin immediately scoffed.

At the same time, he became contemplative, feeling a heightened sense of urgency.

Marvel's greatest Demon, Cyttorak, needed no further explanation. The source of Juggernaut's power, Magneto's trusted subordinate, actually originated from Cyttorak. If Cyttorak wished, he could descend into this Universe at any time through Juggernaut.

Even more noteworthy was Chthon, the God of Dark Magic and God of Chaos!

Chthon was the ultimate source of all Black Magic in the entire Multiverse, and the Power of Chaos, one of the Multiverse's Three Great Forces, was completely acquired and perfectly controlled by Chthon!

Just how terrifying his power was, was easy to imagine.

And Chthon had another identity: he was a second-generation Ancient World Tree Deity, one of the Four Great Chaos Gods!

He was one of the four most supreme beings among the Ancient Deities who preceded the Third Generation Gods like Odin and the Jade Emperor, who could be infinitely replicated across the Multiverse!

Figures like Odin, Zeus, and the Jade Emperor were practically commonplace across the Multiverse; every Universe had their Variants.

Chthon, however, was different. Throughout the entire Multiverse, the Second-Generation Chaos God System he represented was unique, eternally one of a kind, and unaffected by the Multiverse's replication rules!

“In that case, I must contact that woman earlier... Scarlet Witch...”

Martin took a deep breath, his eyes glinting with cold light. Without a doubt, Chthon was an unprecedentedly terrifying foe, inherently capable of world destruction.

Originally, he hadn't intended to involve the Scarlet Witch at all, simply because this woman was too terrifying. With the Power of Chaos derived from Chthon, she might lose control if provoked, instantly destroying everything in her path.

“Ancient One, when the time comes, I will come for the Time Stone. You know the consequences of deceiving me.”

Martin walked up to the Ancient One, poked her shoulder with a finger, and said coldly, “Also, forget the future you saw before. If you look through the Time Stone now, what you see will definitely be different from before... You have the Time Stone, yet you still failed to defeat me, didn't you?”

The Ancient One frowned, “What are you planning to do?”

“I have my plans... plans far beyond your imagination! No matter how cruel the future may be, I will use my fists to drag out every single person who stands in my way and kill them all! Honestly, Ancient One, hurry up and train Stephen Strange, then retire. You really should travel the Multiverse; the wonders of the world are beyond your wildest dreams! Anyway, your body is already decaying beyond repair, so just abandon it.”

Martin opened a Spacetime Vortex, stepped inside, and said with a cold laugh as he left.

Chapter 93

After Martin and the Ancient One successively departed, the dilapidated Dark Dimension fell silent once more. Countless stars began to fall, with only Dormammu's corpse drifting endlessly.

A long while later.

A figure stepped into this place.

“The Dark Dimension was actually beaten into this state... Huh? What is this?”

When the figure saw Dormammu's corpse, he froze on the spot, his mind roaring.

“Dormammu... is dead?! He was actually killed?!”

The Grandmaster's face was filled with shock!

Already full of curiosity, he ventured into the Dark Dimension to explore. Given that he was one of the most ancient Skyfathers in this Universe and a member of the Elders of the Universe, possessing formidable strength, he certainly had the confidence to do so.

But he had never expected Dormammu to actually be dead!!

The Grandmaster stood on the collapsed star, his eyes wide, gazing exaggeratedly at Dormammu's corpse. After the initial shock, a sense of temptation and greed quickly emerged.

This was Dormammu's corpse; his enemy actually didn't take it?

“What an arrogant young man, to be completely indifferent to the corpse of a Black Magic Deity.” The Grandmaster sighed, then somewhat greedily reached out to grasp Dormammu's shattered remains, carefully collecting them.

Dormammu was dead!

This explosive news, spread by the Grandmaster, instantly swept across the entire Universe.

Countless beings were shocked, their faces filled with horror. They simply couldn't comprehend how Dormammu, the terrifying Lord of Darkness, a fearsome Deity who had devoured countless worlds in the past, could have been eliminated just like that?!

“Even the Dark Dimension was destroyed? How ruthless must the enemy be to accomplish such a feat?”

“Without a doubt, an ordinary Skyfather would absolutely be incapable of destroying the Dark Dimension while Dormammu was present!”

“Indeed, was it an Infinity Stone? Did that man named Martin single-handedly kill Dormammu? By collecting shattered Dark Dimension fragments, then...”

“The Space Stone is in Martin's hands! This much can be confirmed!”

“He merely originated from a remote, primitive planet, from a primitive civilization that couldn't even leave its star system. How could he possibly achieve this? And by what right could he control the Space Stone?!”

What concerned many ancient Cosmic Gods and cosmic civilizations even more was how Martin, a mere low-level Human, could possibly use the Space Stone to kill Dormammu?!

By what right?!

Even Cosmic Gods wouldn't dare claim they could control the Space Stone, yet Martin, a Human, had done it? Not only had he done it, but he had also used the Space Stone to destroy the Dark Dimension and kill Dormammu?

It was simply a mythical tale!

The name Martin was now thoroughly etched into the memory of many ancient beings and civilizations. Until a method to counter Martin was found, no one was willing to provoke him.
