Chapter 61
chapter 034 part 2
The Ancient One let out a long sigh, as if letting go of everything. She coughed twice, her voice calm: "Yes, I lost. I misjudged you."
Green light surged from the Eye of Agamotto.
"I can give you the Time Stone, but we need to establish a new transaction. Otherwise, I would rather randomly toss the Eye of Agamotto into another Universe. Without the blessing of relevant Cosmic Laws, the Time Stone is just an ordinary stone. In other words, you will never find the Time Stone again, and it will be impossible for you to gather all the Infinity Stones."
The Ancient One slowly said, "Help me, and I will personally give you the Time Stone."

Chapter 78
Stephen Strange's mind had been in a daze.
He didn't know why these two Humans, whom Professor X had deemed "the strongest," had started fighting after saying some inexplicable things.
He watched with a blank expression as the two of them now sat, sipping tea, conversing with smiles as if old friends, as if all the previous conflict and battle had never happened...
Was this the world of the powerful?
Terrifying.
"Stephen Strange, if you want to heal your hands, Kamar-Taj is the only place."
Martin stood up, strode over to Stephen Strange, and heavily patted his shoulder, laughing heartily.
Stephen Strange nodded vaguely.
It seemed a transaction had been reached just like that?
"You'd better train Stephen Strange quickly; I don't have much time to waste with you."
Martin rose, glancing towards the distant Mount Everest, seemingly admiring the beautiful scenery, then warned the Ancient One without looking back.
The Ancient One nodded slightly.
This was one of the terms of their agreement: the Time Stone would remain at Kamar-Taj for a short period, and Martin would revisit this place someday soon to retrieve it.
If they didn't hand it over, he would take it by force.
Kamar-Taj needed to prepare for its demise.
Martin departed elegantly.
Mordo's face was gloomy: "Sorcerer Supreme, are we really going to compromise with him? He's an ambitious madman!"
The Ancient One watched Martin's retreating figure, silent for a moment, then spoke calmly, "Mordo, although I don't agree with some of his philosophies, some of what he said might indeed be true. At least, I know what I need to do now..."
At her chest, the Time Stone shimmered, filled with the countless futures she had seen.
Some futures were apocalyptic despair, and in this doom, Martin was one of the few rays of light.
"Stephen Strange, come forward. To heal your hands, you need to abandon some old concepts and truly understand the reality of this world," the Ancient One said.
Stephen Strange nodded repeatedly: "I've abandoned them. I understand."
"?"
The Ancient One was silent for a moment, then sighed; everything was chaotic.
She simply raised her hand and pressed it firmly against Stephen Strange's forehead, directly drawing out Stephen Strange's Soul and taking him on a fleeting journey through the superficial layers of the Multiverse.
Nothing was more effective than this.
"Mordo, go summon Wong," the Ancient One instructed.
"Wong is currently pursuing Kaecilius, that traitor," Mordo replied.
"Don't pursue him. Kaecilius has Dormammu's protection; he is an important cornerstone for Dormammu's invasion of Earth and won't die so easily."
The Ancient One looked at Mordo's departing figure, her gaze somewhat meaningful.
A Sorcerer Supreme needed a reliable assistant, and the hot-headed Mordo...
Perhaps Wong was more suitable to be Stephen Strange's assistant than Mordo.
...
A war that shook the great beings throughout the Universe thus concluded, but the scope encompassed by this upheaval had already far exceeded ordinary expectations.
Many Deities who had lived for a very, very long time, even if they hadn't personally seen the Infinity Stones, had long heard legends about them. Some Deities even constantly searched for the whereabouts of the Infinity Stones.
The war between Martin and the Ancient One, directly approaching a Universe-tier level, and the peculiar ultimate power it displayed, had already attracted the attention of some individuals.
"The Infinity Stones have fallen into the hands of a very troublesome fellow. Ronan, accelerate the search for The Orb. You know the consequences of defying my orders."
The Lord of the Dark Quadrant, Thanos, the last of the Titan Eternals, sat on his throne, coldly looking down at Ronan.
Ronan gritted his teeth, feeling humiliated, yet feigned a respectful demeanor and said in a deep voice, "Of course, I will bring you what you desire, in exchange for you destroying Xandar for me."
But these were just words. Once he possessed an Infinity Stone, he could destroy Xandar with his own power, without needing Thanos at all.
Thanos watched Ronan slowly retreat, a cold sneer forming at the corner of his lips.
"The Kree..."
The Titan Eternals and the Kree had a two-thousand-year-old enmity. From the time the Eternals were defeated by the Deviants and fled Earth in a sorry state, they were relentlessly hunted by the Kree. A portion of their already dwindling numbers was killed by the Kree, another portion was taken by the Kree and experimented on to become the Inhumans, and only the remaining few managed to escape to a moon of Saturn.
Thanos, however, stated that he didn't care about any of this. After all, he was born on Titan, not Earth, and paid no heed to the two-thousand-year-old conflict, especially since Titan was already ruined.
"This Universe needs balance. Excessive population endlessly plundering will only destroy this prosperous Universe. Randomly killing half the population will make the entire world better."
Thanos stood up, his hands clasped behind his back, looking at the endless stars outside the Spaceship, twinkling brilliantly in the black vacuum, breathtakingly beautiful.
He never cared what others thought of him; he lived only for his lofty ideal.
