Chapter 262
chapter 169 part 2
"Master, after the terrible catastrophe of the Two Worlds Fusion, according to our observations, I fear... there is only one Avatar of yours left in the entire Multiverse..."
An Adjutant whispered, his tone complex.
Darkseid's expression remained calm as he said indifferently, "No, there's still one in Barbatos's hands. That disgusting bat has been using my Avatar as a super-pawn... It's been like this for so many years."
"That still leaves only two Avatars! If you die, we will never have another chance, let alone defeating Martin to complete our revenge! You absolutely cannot be killed by Grail; it's still not too late to escape now!"
The Adjutant was drenched in sweat.
But Darkseid looked at the figure that had breached the Universe barrier and was rapidly approaching him, intent on killing him. A faint smile appeared on his face: "Don't worry, my progeny never disappoints me."
***
Darkseid was very confident, extremely confident.
Leaving his other abilities aside, but regarding how to raise children, he was exceptionally confident.
His eldest son, Kalibak, though of mediocre talent, still deserved the title of eldest son.
His eldest daughter, Grail, was also an ambitious madwoman, and possessed the willpower, wisdom, and awareness to control such ambition. Look, isn't she already coming to kill him with the Anti-Life Equation he coveted?
As for his youngest son, Orion... Well, he was simply a fool.
He was sent as a hostage to New Genesis and ended up being brainwashed by Highfather. He was originally the most like him, but now he was the one who hated him the most, treating Highfather, his adoptive father, as his biological father.
"...As for the hostage Highfather handed over to me, I heard he's now called Mister Fantastic, because he escaped from my Apokolips back then? Hmph, with a head full of love and peace, he's simply a complete idiot."
Darkseid let out a cold snort.
These were his four children, each of them quite capable, all starting at Universe-tier, extremely outstanding.
But...
Now, it seemed, none of them were sufficient.
"Master, Grail wields the Anti-Life Equation!! You, who have lost the Omega Effect, are no longer her match!" The Adjutant was in a panic.
It was well-known that Darkseid's Avatars were the most powerful, because all his Avatars could share the Omega Effect with his True Form; this was due to the special nature of the Omega Effect itself.
But now, the Omega Effect had been stolen by that terrifying man, Martin.
"Don't worry, I still have a trump card... I will obtain the power to turn the tables."
Darkseid sneered, slowly rose to his feet, the red light in his eyes extremely dazzling. He stomped heavily on the ground, and all of Apokolips trembled.
Deep within the Earth's Core, a figure that had been slumbering for a long time was now awakened.
"Darkseid, get out here and die!!"
At this moment, the Anti-Life Beam, which annihilated everything, erupted fiercely, sweeping wildly through everything. Some unlucky Parademons were drawn into the Anti-Life's range and immediately screamed, turning into dust.
Grail, bathed in the terrifying Anti-Life glow, stepped forward, one step at a time, her blood-red eyes almost identical to Darkseid's.
"Remarkable, my child. You can actually bear the Anti-Life Equation, doing what only the Anti-Monitor could do." Darkseid, with his hands behind his back, looked at his daughter in amazement.
Grail sneered, "I have you to thank for this. You gave me half of the New Gods' bloodline, and that bitch, my mother, gave me half of the Themysciran Amazon Bloodline. I will make good use of this advantage and then kill you. In fact, I've already broken into hundreds of Universes and killed every single one of your Avatars there. I just don't know how much of The Source you have left to continue existing?"
"Though not much, it's at least enough."
Darkseid smiled.
"Die! Master Martin killed your True Form, and I will travel through all worlds and kill all your Avatars, personally burying you completely!"
Grail roared, raising her hands as a terrifying Anti-Life energy cluster gathered, seemingly about to smash down directly to utterly obliterate this Darkseid Avatar before her.
But Darkseid remained motionless, standing firm, a chilling smile even appearing on his face: "You won't kill me, because you don't have the ability."
Boom!
All of Apokolips suddenly trembled violently.
A powerful figure directly smashed through a continental plate and soared into the sky with a roar. This was a being clad in a black Suit, with the 'S' emblem emblazoned on its chest, and a long black cape trailing behind it.
"Superman?! How can there be a Superman on Apokolips?"
Grail watched this scene in astonishment, while instinctively becoming vigilant.
Having roamed the Multiverse for many years, she knew too well the significance of Superman, a being often called the Son of DC. Every Superman in every Universe could always create miracles to some extent.
But on Apokolips... How could there be a Superman?!!
"Could it be Anti-Matter Superman or Superboy-Prime?"
Grail frowned deeply.
In the Anti-Matter Universe, there was indeed a heinous fellow who was different from all other Supermen, being an Anti-Matter lifeform.
As for Superboy-Prime, his origin was extremely mysterious, yet he was incomparably powerful, and also a tyrannical and ferocious fellow.
"This is my youngest progeny, Clark Kent. Of course, you can call him... Dark Superman!!"
Darkseid, with his hands behind his back, stood on the trembling continent, the sinister grin on his lips widening to the extreme at this moment.
Dark Superman was his proudest creation to date, and also almost his most powerful progeny!
The moment Dark Superman appeared, a handful of beings sensed it.
Even Martin from the Transformers Universe raised his head with interest. At his level, the Hyperversal Level was enough to encompass everything under the concept of omnipotence. There was little in the world that could be hidden from him anymore; as long as it happened, Martin would perceive it.
"Dark Superman still appeared? I thought this guy would have completely disappeared because I killed Darkseid..."
