Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron
Chapter 318
During the time Martin was in the DC world, Cybertron indeed ushered in a rare period of peace.
With Primus, Unicron, and Gorr the God Butcher, three Multiverse-level beings overseeing, looking across the entire Marvel Multiverse, they were already an extremely powerful force. One must know that even the Second Generation Chaos Gods of the World Tree, who shook the Multiverse, were only at the Multiverse-level.
Furthermore, before Martin left, he brutally slaughtered a portion of the Celestials, killing several of their high-ranking members one after another, greatly deterring countless worlds.
Peace bought with iron and blood was the most enduring, provided Martin was always present to maintain it.
As time passed, Cybertron's silence eventually aroused suspicion. Gradually, Chthon and Serpent God Set finally couldn't resist making their move. These two conspired together, constantly harassing the Cybertronian Universe.
The more they fought, the bolder they became.
Until a terrifying war erupted, affecting the entire Multiverse. The Second Generation Gods of the World Tree, led by Chthon and Set, two Chaos Gods, launched an attack on Cybertron.
The battle was extremely fierce and lasted for a long time. Yet, Martin's prolonged absence still drew the attention of those with ulterior motives.
"Damn it! Damn it! That bastard Martin wasn't actually in Cybertron; he went to another Omniverse!"
Amidst countless destructions and rebirths, Chthon and Set fled in panic. When the powerful Martin returned, having ascended to a Hyper-Cosmic God by colliding two worlds together, Chthon and Set were truly terrified to their core.
Fear overwhelmed everything.
The two Chaos Gods were terrified to the point of madness.
"Why is he so strong?! How long has it been, and he's already become a Hyper-Cosmic God? Chthon, you bastard, you've ruined me! I came with you to devour the new Lord of Chaos and Lord of Order, not to die with you!"
Set cursed loudly, his nine-headed serpentine body moving at high speed.
But before he could escape far, Martin simply activated a Power-Up and forcibly went to war with the Living Tribunal.
Set completely lost his mind, his nine snake heads thrashing, nine pairs of eyes glowing with bloodthirsty red light. While fleeing, he viciously bit at Chthon.
"What are you doing?!" Chthon exclaimed, enraged and shocked.
"I'll bite you to death, you idiot! After all these years, you're still as stupid as ever, actually provoking such a terrifying guy! Back during the Annihilation War, you were the one dragging me down, you fool!"
Set raged.
Back then, during the glorious era of the Second Generation Gods, it was the Serpent God Set who first discovered that one could rapidly grow stronger by devouring other Deities. Chthon then joined him, and eventually, the two of them waged war against the Faction represented by Oshtur and Gaea. They were ultimately defeated by The Murder Machine, the god-devourer born of Gaea, and forced to flee in disarray.
After so many years, Chthon found him, and the two teamed up again, intending to carve up Primus and Unicron. But who would have thought… Martin would grow so rapidly to this extent?!
At that moment, a mournful cry echoed, and all things fell silent.
The Living Tribunal had fallen.
Set's heart grew even more frantic. He thrashed his enormous serpentine tail, constantly moving through this nascent world, trying to swim towards deeper, more hidden areas.
"Where do you two think you're going?" Martin's chilling voice suddenly arrived. Having killed the Living Tribunal and collected all of its legacy, he immediately came for these guys who had been causing trouble in his absence.
"It wasn't me! It was Chthon! Everything was planned by that bastard Chthon, I know nothing!" Set shrieked first, all nine of his heads showing expressions of terror, his entire body trembling.
Martin, wielding The Supreme One, was a genuine Omniverse Level Deity; even the Living Tribunal had died by his hand!
Chthon's face was grim. He silently erupted with all his power, streams of Black Magic gushing forth, accompanied by surging tendrils of Chaos power, intent on escaping.
He had a deep-seated grudge with Martin, and he knew Martin wouldn't spare him.
"Die, both of you."
A colossal hand reached out, instantly tearing through all reality and illusion. No Space-Time could obstruct this attack; countless worlds were pierced through in its wake, as if they didn't exist at all.
The mechanical hand clenched, and with a thunderous roar, it encompassed the two ancient Chaos Gods within its grasp. Their desperate resistance, striking the surface of the hand, couldn't even cause the slightest ripple.
*Snap!*
With a sudden squeeze, the two entities immediately let out screams of agony, like two helpless little chicks, clutched in Martin's hand.
"Attacking my world while I was away, you two insects… how do you wish to die?" Martin sneered, looking at the two beings trapped in his hand.
"I'll pledge allegiance to you, become your most loyal subordinate!" Set shrieked, desperately twisting his serpentine body and struggling.
"Me too, I'm willing to atone for my past actions…"
Chthon's face was also filled with horror and regret. Before he could finish speaking, a massive shadow suddenly descended.
*Crunch!*
With a soft sound.
Chthon was instantly crushed by Martin.
Chapter 319
Set was scared to death.
Watching Chthon, with whom he had fought and cooperated for so many years, being effortlessly annihilated by Martin, Set's heart shattered with terror.
"I am willing to serve you, to pledge my absolute loyalty!" Set wailed, his nine heads thrashing frantically, signaling submission and begging for mercy.
In this moment, Martin was even more terrifying than when he confronted the Living Tribunal. He was truly dragging the corpse of an Omniverse Level Deity across worlds!
"I have no need for you, World-Devouring Serpent… the primordial myths that echoed through countless Universes will now cease to exist." Martin looked down with a cold expression, a sneer playing on his lips, and reached out again, grabbing downwards.
Set roared frantically, but the many Deities merely watched from afar, none daring to approach and interfere.
No one dared to stand before Martin in that moment.
*Splat!*
With a crisp sound, as if swatting a fly.
The Serpent God Set died, crushed to oblivion by Martin's single hand.
"Hmm, is this Chaos power?"
Martin stroked his chin. From the corpses of Chthon and Set, he had obtained this primordial power of the Marvel Multiverse.
"So, the portion of Chaos power that Chthon shattered earlier was actually obtained by Set… truly a greedy great serpent."
Martin shook his head, then no longer gave these two any thought. With a shift in his form, he departed from the area.
All around, countless worlds were slowly forming, transforming into entirely new worlds according to the reconfigured Laws of the Universe.
After a while longer.
A tall yet ethereal figure appeared.
"Chthon is finally dead… though this isn't how I wanted him to die."
Oshtur, one of the Vishanti and God of White Magic, spoke indifferently.
"Martin intervened again. Last time he dealt with Shuma-Gorath, and now he's killed Chthon… Regardless, we've certainly gained a great advantage."
Hoggoth spoke in a low voice.
Agamotto chuckled softly, "No matter. In any case, we're likely no longer worth his attention. We should just quietly reap the rewards… With Chthon dead, we will have no more obstacles."
"Exactly. The mantle of God of Dark Magic will now transfer, and the Vishanti's stature… will henceforth gain the power of a God of Dark Magic!" Hoggoth grew instantly excited.
The Eldritch Shuma-Gorath was originally their archenemy. After Shuma-Gorath was killed, they had focused all their energy on dealing with Chthon. By killing Chthon and seizing the power of Black Magic, the Vishanti would then integrate both White Magic and Black Magic, making another significant leap forward!
In this way, the Vishanti, the source of magic in the Marvel world, would no longer be "one of" the great powers!
"Wait a moment… did you notice something…" Oshtur suddenly spoke.
Hoggoth and Agamotto also became alert. The Vishanti's colossal magical true form stirred, directly turning its head to look in a certain direction.
They vaguely sensed a somewhat familiar yet distinct magical source existing in some unknown distant region. The system of magic carried by this source was slightly different from their Vishanti system, but its power level was equivalent.
"This is… the source of magic from another world?"
"Is it the magical source of the DC world? That's truly news, and we don't know if it's good or bad…"
"And we don't even know who this magical source is…"
The three entities exchanged thoughts, their expressions extremely serious.
At that moment, a gentle voice reached them: "The magical source of the DC world is an entity named the Upside-Down Man; he is the origin of magic in the In-Wall World."
The Phantom Stranger quietly appeared not far from the Vishanti. This eerie, silent, and undetectable emergence immediately triggered the Vishanti's alarm.
"No need to be so tense. I overheard your interest in the Upside-Down Man, so I came over to introduce myself… My name is the Phantom Stranger, a man with no past."
The Phantom Stranger removed his fedora, bowing gracefully in a salute.
The Vishanti dared not underestimate this individual.
"How much do you know about the Upside-Down Man?" After a moment of silence, Oshtur asked.
The Phantom Stranger smiled, "In exchange, how much do you know about Martin? I'm quite curious about his past, especially how you just mentioned he killed an entity called Shuma-Gorath? I'm very interested in that."
"Then let's exchange information, that's fair." Agamotto chuckled softly.
The Phantom Stranger nodded in satisfaction and immediately began recounting information about the Upside-Down Man.
"The Upside-Down Man originated from the unknown of the Outer Wall World, bringing the power of [Magic] to the In-Wall World. To counter the Upside-Down Man's threat to the In-Wall World, my partner Spectre even began to eradicate all magical power within the In-Wall World, though he ultimately failed…"
Martin paid no attention to their conversation. Similar events would only become more frequent; the Deities of the two worlds were bound to interact and clash.
Now, Martin had more important matters to attend to.
"Hmm, I didn't expect the damage to be this severe…"
On Cybertron, Martin gravely examined The Supreme One.
Chapter 320
Although Martin was the ultimate victor in the battle with the Living Tribunal, The Supreme One had suffered an astonishing degree of damage.
"Just analyzing the scars gives me a sense of trepidation…"
Primus scanned The Supreme One's condition. Although he couldn't comprehend ninety-nine percent of the concepts involved, the mere fraction he could perceive gave him an overwhelmingly powerful sense of pressure.
Was this the terrifying aspect of an Omniverse Level Deity?
