Chapter 25

chapter 014 part 2

"Mortal, Mjolnir is an Asgardian divine artifact!"

Odin's massive phantom stood tall, wielding Gungnir, conversing with Martin across countless stars. On his majestic face, there was a clear hint of subtle annoyance.

Originally, he should have been in his Odinsleep by now. The Odinforce was too great a burden on his aging body, and not sleeping would only shorten his remaining lifespan.

But who would have thought such a thing would happen on Earth?

First, a mortal forcibly lifted the hammer, which was one thing – it was entirely relying on external power. But then, a robot effortlessly lifted Thor's Hammer, and that was something Odin couldn't tolerate.

Optimus Prime had truly, by his own willpower, instantly gained Thor's Hammer's recognition. If even Optimus Prime couldn't get its recognition, then no one else could.

This completely exceeded Odin's expectations. He hadn't imagined that there truly were such mortals on Earth, and that one would just happen to show up next to Thor's Hammer and lift it!

"Father!" Thor's face showed both surprise and guilt.

But Odin was staring intently at Martin the entire time, completely ignoring his offspring.

Martin looked up. While everyone else was pressed down by Odin's terrifying cosmic pressure, unable to lift their heads, he calmly met Odin's gaze and said lightly, "You threw Thor's Hammer onto Earth. You set a harsh spell for this hammer. Now, my subordinate and I have accomplished it. What do you intend to do?"

Odin was silent for a moment, then said coldly, "Only Asgardians can inherit the throne! Furthermore, I will reclaim Thor's Hammer and find a new master for it."

Martin suddenly smiled.

Sure enough, this kind of shamelessness, like an old scoundrel, was more like Odin, because Odin was exactly like this in his youth: stirring up trouble everywhere, leading Hela to war with other God Races, fighting against the Eight Realms, engulfing the World Tree and the entire Milky Way Galaxy in conflict.

Now old and too old to fight, he had begun to uphold the dignity of a God King and act with reserve.

"Respected God King, if that's the case, I no longer want this hammer. Please take it back — as if picking up trash."

Martin picked up Thor's Hammer and, right in front of Odin, gradually applied force. As subtle divine lightning emerged from the hammer, terrifying cracks appeared on its surface.

[A great battle is coming, dear readers, please give your support!]

**Chapter 34**

Thor's Hammer, in Martin's hands, let out a mournful cry.

"What are you doing? Stop!!"

Thor, who understood Thor's Hammer the most, instantly had his eyes turn red. With a roar, he lunged towards Martin.

Smack!

Megatron raised a hand and slapped Thor, sending him flying a dozen meters away.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Martin, with a resounding crack, crushed Thor's Hammer!

Terrifying lightning surged out from the hammer, accompanied by roaring Divine Power, sending everything in all directions flying and causing a massive upheaval.

But Martin stood his ground, his figure remaining perfectly still, as if merely brushed by a gentle breeze.

This domineering scene stunned everyone. Even Odin, conversing with Martin from his throne far away in Asgard by projecting his Divine Power, paused for a moment. In his single eye, a terrifying murderous aura subtly brewed.

This mortal had actually crushed Thor's Hammer right in front of him!

This was a grave provocation to Asgard!

"Mortal, your courage is commendable, and you have successfully enraged me. It has been far too long since anyone dared to challenge my dignity to my face."

God King Odin slowly rose from his throne. Terrifying divine power fluctuations gradually spread, and the flat, circular continent of Asgard subtly began to tremble. All its subjects were astonished, wondering why their God King was so enraged.

"Ancient One, this mortal has actively provoked me, the dignity of a Supreme God King! This matter exists solely between him and me; there must be a resolution!"

Odin's face was taut, his wrinkled features filled with killing intent. The cosmic pressure that had dominated the Nine Realms for millions of years suddenly erupted at this moment.

The Ancient One gave him no response.

Odin snorted coldly, a look of satisfaction on his face. Silence was the best answer. Wielding Asgard's most potent offensive divine artifact, Gungnir, he headed directly for Earth.

It seemed that ever since the various top God Races of their World Tree were thoroughly beaten by the Celestials who suddenly descended upon Earth a millennium ago, too many insignificant nobodies had forgotten his terror.

"Asgard, Olympus, Heavenly Court – what could directly crush these three major God Races were the Celestials, not some ignorant fools!"

It was time to revisit the era when everything was permeated by his shadow.

A cold sneer played on Odin's lips.

One must remember, the point in time a thousand years ago was extremely special. The Celestials suddenly descended upon Earth to inspect their biological experiment – humanity. They discovered that human development had been interfered with by the Gods, and the entire human race lived under the shadow of deities.

That was how the fierce battle came to be.

Led by the three major God Races, and united with dozens of other Pantheons of varying sizes, including the Mayan Pantheon and Japanese Pantheon, gathering dozens of God Kings large and small, they waged full-scale war against the Celestials' Fourth Host that had descended upon Earth.

How high-spirited they were back then! Although they had long heard of the Celestials' formidable reputation, they didn't take it to heart, firmly believing that this unprecedented grand assembly of God Races was enough to destroy any powerful foe.

Even if the enemy was the Celestials, whose might resonated throughout the entire Universe, causing countless ancient beings to shun them like vipers!

The result... the dream was shattered.

The World Tree's God Races, despite pouring out all their strength, were still thoroughly trounced by the Celestials, suffering defeat after defeat and collapsing across vast distances.

And what had crushed them was merely the Fourth Host! The Celestials had many more Hosts with such power!

The leading Celestial was even more terrifying, powerfully defeating and killing many God Kings, directly annihilating a large number of God Races. A single sentence spoken by Them left a deep impression on all deities.

"You are merely ordinary lifeforms wielding so-called Divine Power, a third generation Pantheon that coincidentally propagated beneath the World Tree... Let those four chaos gods come. Only second generation gods like them are qualified to converse with the Celestials as equals. You weak third generation gods are unworthy."

To this day, Odin still couldn't forget Their indifference and disregard.

"The God Races retreated from Earth, promising not to interfere with human civilization's progress. But this doesn't mean the Gods are cowardly, nor does it mean that mortals can casually insult the most powerful God King alive today!"

Fury surged in Odin's eyes. The painful defeat a thousand years ago was an indelible shadow in Odin's heart.
