Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 153
Regardless, as long as the denizens of Heaven and Hell remained still, and those rare, formidable figures didn't appear, Martin wasn't worried in the slightest.
"You are troubled. Tell me who made you uneasy, and I will kill them."
Ancient Doomsday stood silently behind Martin like a small mountain, resembling a loyal guard.
In reality, after Martin exerted all his Eldritch power, he indeed turned Ancient Doomsday into his loyal hound, the utterly devoted kind.
In all of Ancient Doomsday's cognition, Martin was its savior and guide at every stage, leading it forward since its birth.
Even though Ancient Doomsday was a creature inclined to follow its instincts, its instincts would clearly tell its will that Martin was absolutely trustworthy, someone worth protecting with its life.
Everything Martin had twisted at a huge cost had now not only taken root and sprouted but had grown into a towering tree, becoming a formidable blade in Martin's hands!
"No, don't be so savage. Those guys have a profound origin; there's no need for us to clash head-on with them right now... Trust me, you will become a remarkable existence, one whose radiance even Supreme Gods cannot obscure... Do you remember how I used to teach you? Follow your true nature, and your true nature is me."
Martin smiled and spoke, slowly putting down the item in his hand. He poured the freshly ground coffee into a cup, then snapped his fingers, and hot water appeared out of thin air, brewing the coffee.
Ancient Doomsday watched this scene in silence, unable to comprehend what could possibly attract Martin to coffee, such a useless thing that held no benefit for evolution.
Since it had been standing there, Martin had already brewed three cups of coffee.
"Bear with it a little longer. I've already told you, you need to find a way to overcome the Primal Drive that your genes inflict upon you. You are you, not an appendage of your genes."
Martin spoke indifferently, his back to Ancient Doomsday.
Genes were a terrifying thing, especially for ordinary people who lacked Superhuman Power and superhuman intelligence.
Reproducing offspring, controlling power, and consciously forming factions to build families were, in essence, all for comfort and security, and then to better reproduce, ensuring one's ancestral chromosomes could be passed down in a superior, healthier, and more perfect state.
Those who appeared successful had, in essence, still not escaped the shackles of their genes; it was genetic instinct driving them, not them succeeding and then counteracting their own genes.
It was a very contradictory matter.
In Ancient Doomsday, this drive was magnified to the extreme. Its Gene Chain, destroyed and revived countless times, repeatedly told Ancient Doomsday: you must evolve, evolve maniacally, evolve at all costs. Only then can you adapt to various harsh environments, deal with all sorts of bastards like those in Portland, and only then can you survive without being killed by a terrible external environment.
Ancient Doomsday was, in essence, an individual enslaved by powerful and twisted genes. Its will, Soul, and spirit bowed to the genetic monster within its own body.
It was cold-blooded, brutal, and largely acted on instinct.
Just as Martin was silently pondering, his hand holding the cup suddenly paused.
"Finally, is the Anti-Monitor starting his move? I've been waiting impatiently."
Chapter 293
The Anti-Monitor, Mobius, after a period of dormancy, finally couldn't bear it any longer; he wanted to launch his offensive.
"The Gods of the entire Inner Wall World don't know that the Anti-Life Equation not only exists but has also fallen into my hands..."
The Anti-Monitor sneered softly, slowly emerging from his War Fortress. With each step, the terrifying power surging within him brewed a suffocating horror that threatened to sweep over all living things.
Even a single leaked trace provoked a violent reaction from the world of the living, as if this terrifying power was inherently opposed to all humans and Gods.
Indeed, this was the case; all living beings were born under a vast and complex system of calculation, appearing only after fulfilling numerous stringent conditions.
And the Anti-Life Equation directly recorded the extreme power capable of eradicating all living beings.
"The Anti-Life Equation was indeed hidden in the Anti-Matter Universe. I toiled in the Anti-Matter Universe for three full eons before I managed to calculate its location and pinpoint it precisely."
The Anti-Monitor looked down, feeling the terrifying power and capabilities far beyond his previous limits that he instantly possessed after obtaining this dreadful formula, almost bursting into maniacal laughter.
It was too wonderful; it was truly too wonderful.
"Everyone has been drawn away by Martin. Now is my time to act... I need to destroy one Universe after another to gather enough power to eliminate all my formidable enemies."
The Anti-Monitor immediately left the Anti-Matter Universe, gazing at the 52 silently floating, ascending worlds. He let out a chilling sneer, and a barely perceptible sigh of regret.
What a pity. If he had known this, he shouldn't have personally orchestrated the Crisis on Infinite Earths Major Event, destroying countless Universes until only 52 remained. According to the complex calculations returned by the Anti-Life Equation, even if all 52 of these Universes were completely devoured, the Energy collected would likely not reach the upper limit of this formula.
"What a pity..."
The Anti-Monitor sighed with emotion and immediately began his secret operations. He went directly to DC Universe: Zero, which was the Prime Universe of the DC world, his eyes revealing a fierce glint.
"Well then, let's start with this world. Over in the Dark Multiverse, Barbatos, that troublesome little pet, is monitoring things, so it's not easy for me to act there. I can only choose the Positive Matter Multiverse..."
The Anti-Monitor sneered softly, stepping across the Universe's barrier. Then, he rapidly unleashed his Anti-Life Equation, and everywhere he passed, its fury annihilated and devoured everything.
The Anti-Life Equation required an extremely vast amount of Energy to be filled.
And these countless planets, countless species, were the best sources of Energy.
The Anti-Monitor roamed the depths of space, his face behind his war helmet utterly grim and indifferent. The terrifying power he unleashed with every move instantly possessed endless destructive force.
"What's happening? The Earth's Core is suddenly collapsing?"
"Is this the end of the world!!"
Numerous planets in the Prime Universe were directly subjected to the Anti-Monitor's brutal destruction. Countless Life forms wailed in agony, eventually all transforming into the Anti-Monitor's Energy.
Countless galaxies were devoured, stars extinguished, and species annihilated.
This phenomenon caught the attention of the Guardians of the Universe on Oa. They immediately dispatched the Green Lantern Corps to investigate the situation.
"Has that madman Krona returned?"
"According to our estimates, he didn't die in the Anti-Matter Universe Big Bang back then. He must still be alive, secretly waiting for an opportunity. So, this crisis... is it him?"
"No, this person is... damn it, it's the Anti-Monitor! The monster who almost permanently destroyed the Multiverse has returned!!"
The Guardians of the Universe observed the Emotional Spectrum, one of DC's supreme powers. The Emotional Spectrum was the intertwining emotions of endless Life, permeating all of DC. In fact, the Emotional Spectrum of the Inner Wall World was only a small fraction of the complete Emotional Spectrum.
