Chapter 202

chapter 127 part 2

Eight terrifying existences in a standoff—this was an unimaginable scene, causing the entire Multiverse to nearly suffocate.

"This, this, this… Is Martin crazy? He's actually attacking the Five Great Creation Gods?!"

"Hmm, to be precise, he only attacked Death. What kind of deep-seated grudge is this, to slaughter three Multiverse-tier Gods and then immediately move to assault one of the Five Great Creation Gods?"

"Hmph, if he were to attack the other four, I might be surprised, but seeing that Death was attacked… I don't know why, but I find it perfectly normal."

"...Indeed, anyone who has lived long enough knows what kind of character Death is—shameless and insane. It's no wonder she is the embodiment of all death; this crazy and neurotic aspect is quite fitting."

Some existences sneered, their expressions unkind when mentioning Death.

They knew perfectly well what Death was like: a total schemer.

She rarely engaged in direct combat but was exceptionally skilled at verbal manipulation and backstabbing. Over time, the other Ancient Beings learned to keep their distance from Death.

Otherwise, what could they do?

There was no solution. This was Death herself. Killing Death would mean the collapse of the entire Multiverse's Law of the Universe system; everything would become eternal, and there would be no more cessation. The collapse of the Multiverse would not be a good thing for these Ancient Beings who were dependent on it.

So, no one provoked Death, and Death would not easily provoke beings of equal standing, choosing instead to spend a great deal of energy playing with Lesser Beings.

But now, a truly ruthless character had appeared, brazenly drawing his sword against the venerable Death. Even assaulting Death, which meant facing the entire Five Great Creation Gods, he still did it!

Was he foolish?

Previously, the Lord of Chaos and the Lord of Order also thought Martin was foolish, daring to provoke Deities. The result was their demise.

Chthon, the God of the Underworld, that terrifying shadow that swept across countless worlds back then, also thought Martin was ridiculous, a mere Human daring to challenge him. Then Chthon was severely injured and now dared not show his face, fearing his opponents would discover his whereabouts and besiege him.

One by one, gazes silently watched these eight terrifying existences in a standoff.

"Martin, step back. There may have been some grudges in the past, but it shouldn't come to this. You should know how terrifying the destruction a war between Multiverse-tier Gods would cause to the entire Multiverse."

Oblivion said flatly.

Infinity also spoke, "The battle you few just had destroyed seventy percent of the Multiverse. This required us five Great Creation Gods to repair it, which is very troublesome, and we didn't even try to stop you."

Martin surveyed the five figures before him, sneering, "Of course you wouldn't stop it. You were wishing for those three fools to kill me."

In his heart, Martin was rapidly assessing the possibility of an all-out war, and most importantly, the win rate. The conclusion was… very troublesome, extremely troublesome.

Death and Eternity were easy to deal with; they were two useless beings. He wouldn't even need to act personally; the vastly strengthened Primus and Unicron had enough confidence to kill these two trash.

But the remaining three were too thorny.

Galactus, who had no True Form, each Avatar was an independent individual, but one of them wielded the terrifying Divine Artifact, the Ultimate Nullifier. Even Mortals could use it; pulling the trigger could instantly erase a Multiverse-tier God.

In the comics, Sigil, Eternity's offspring, after devouring Eternity, swept across the Multiverse, yet was instantly annihilated by such a Divine Artifact that resembled a lighter, a truly pathetic end.

Oblivion, needless to say, was Hyperversal Level, possessing power and combat strength far exceeding Multiverse-tier. Martin estimated that if he went all out, with numerous Divine Artifacts empowering him, he might have a certain chance to contend, but it would only be a contention. Maintaining an undefeated stance would already exhaust all his strength.

And equally troublesome was Infinity, the Deity who symbolized infinite space. She acted low-key, always remaining silent if she could, but in reality, few knew that Infinity was precisely the second most formidable character among the Five Great Creation Gods.

Infinity could fight Oblivion, who was Hyperversal Level, to a standstill, even with her Multiverse-tier power!

Don't ask how she did it; she just could. She was the type with astonishing combat power, not inferior to the current Martin.

Chapter 241

The Five Great Creation Gods, with their Cosmic Pressure, had dominated the Multiverse for billions of years. Through countless Multiverse resets and innumerable Major Events, a vast number of Deities had fallen, yet these five always remained supreme.

No one could truly kill them; they seemed like unchanging supremes.

And now, Martin unhesitatingly made his move against Death, one of the Five Great Creation Gods!

Martin sneered, "The five of you together are indeed troublesome, but if I fight with my life, I can kill three of you… Care to guess which three of you I'll kill?"

Eternity frowned, "You are indeed very strong. These two beside you, Primus and Unicron? Strange names, but they are indeed powerful. However, wanting to be enemies with all five of us simultaneously is still impossible."

"Stand down, Martin," Oblivion said calmly. "When you successively assaulted Chaos and Order earlier, we could have intervened, on the grounds that they are important components of the Multiverse, or by using the pretext that your battle destroyed too many worlds. But we never did so, patiently waiting for you to decide the victor, even waiting for your two subordinates to devour the fruits of victory."

Primus and Unicron, after devouring the Lord of Order and the Lord of Chaos, successfully gained the Authority over the Multiverse, instantly becoming top-tier Multiverse-tier existences!

They were even just one step away from the Hyperversal Level—though this tiny step was far more vast than the distance from a Mortal to a Multiverse-tier being, the peak was still the peak.

Primus and Unicron were fully capable of directly killing Eternity and Death, the two weakest Creator Gods.

Oblivion said faintly, "Allowing you to kill Chaos and Order and replace them, becoming Gods of Authority equal to us, is our sincerity. No interference, no opposition, just patiently awaiting the outcome… In fact, although the Lord of Chaos had become independent, his former self, Amatsu-Mikaboshi, was also an independent Avatar of mine. You killed him, and I said nothing."

Martin frowned.

Unicron glared at the five figures before him with savage eyes, cackling, "The Lord of Chaos and the others suddenly attacked, they must have been incited by you!"

Primus's expression was cold, "In all aspects, we were merely passively counter-attacking. If you hadn't provoked them, we would still be in slumber and wouldn't have destroyed seventy percent of the Multiverse."

"No, this was absolutely not instigated by me! I haven't contacted them recently, neither my True Form nor my Avatars!" Death exclaimed in shock and anger, growling furiously, "I am not much nobler than Chaos and Order, how could I command them? The Lord of Chaos already held a grudge against Martin. After realizing Martin had ascended to a Multiverse-tier God, he decided not to delay further, wanting to kill Martin as soon as possible… This has absolutely nothing to do with me!"

Death was almost furious.

She indeed harbored intense malice towards Martin and desperately wanted him dead, but to simultaneously incite three Multiverse-tier Gods like Chaos, Order, and the In-Betweener… she didn't possess such great ability, nor such great prestige!

"Martin, I truly want you dead, because you repeatedly trampled on the dignity of my Avatars, insulting and belittling me over and over… If it were just that, it wouldn't matter. I never interfere with my Avatars' affairs. But the race you created completely bypassed me; life and death are entirely in your own hands, completely cutting me out. That is the real reason I desperately want to eliminate you!"

"The stronger you are, the more prosperous your race, the more it equals a disrespect towards me…" Death said darkly. "But now that you have become a Multiverse-tier God, equal to me, that disrespect naturally dissipates. You have the right… I bear intense malice towards you, but the actions of Chaos and the others were indeed not my decision."

"And don't forget, you already had enmity with the Lord of Chaos. The two you created, Primus and Unicron, possessed some Authority over Order and Chaos from their very appearance. This was a direct provocation to the Lord of Order and the Lord of Chaos, an irreconcilable blood feud… They didn't need me to provoke them to want to kill you."

Death narrated grimly, her gaze towards Martin filled with deep apprehension and disgust.

However, the actions of Chaos and Order genuinely had nothing to do with her.
