Chapter 197

chapter 125 part 1

There was one exception.

When he was slaughtering the Japanese Pantheon, a guy named Amatsu-Mikaboshi managed to escape.

“Amatsu-Mikaboshi, no, more accurately, he should be Oblivion's Avatar...”

Martin turned his head, a sneer on his face.

He knew Amatsu-Mikaboshi's origins perfectly. While ostensibly from the Japanese Pantheon, this being was, in essence, a secretly separated avatar of Oblivion, the strongest of the Five Great Cosmic Entities.

Amatsu-Mikaboshi possessed the ability to devour Gods, and in the comics, he even unleashed a massive catastrophe, devouring all the major God Races of the entire World Tree, using the World Tree's power to empower himself.

He indeed achieved this; after devouring all the God Races and subsequently the entire Universe, this guy broke the limits of the Universe-tier and ascended to become a Multiverse God.

Moreover, he was an existence directly possessing a Multiverse Divine Title—the Lord of Chaos!

“To think, you wretch, after fleeing in panic back then, you actually managed to survive until now?”

Martin stood up, and with a mighty roar, flew out of this Universe, sneering as he gazed forward at the colossal figure hurtling towards him.

This was... a bald, colossal head without a body, somewhat similar to Ego.

With just one glance, one could see countless streams of Chaos Divine Power and Rules of Disorder constantly swirling across this massive, distorted head, fully embodying the essence of Chaos. This was the Lord of Chaos.

The Lord of Chaos gazed menacingly at Martin, deep hostility burning in his eyes: “Because of you, I was forced to flee miserably to other Universes, to start devouring the God Races of those Universes to achieve sufficient growth... Originally, I wouldn't have had to go through all this trouble at all! Everything in your Universe was meant to be mine!”

The wrath within the Lord of Chaos had accumulated for far too long.

Originally, none of these terrible things should have happened!

As Oblivion's Avatar, he possessed unprecedentedly terrifying growth potential. He only needed to maintain his guise as Amatsu-Mikaboshi, then seize the opportunity to devour Gods, and he would grow rapidly!

But who would have thought that Martin, this unforeseen powerhouse, would suddenly appear?

This bastard began slaughtering Gods without reason, forcing him to flee preemptively to save his life, and depriving him of the very 'food' he needed for growth!

He could only hastily flee to other Universes, devouring the World Tree God Races there.

For all these years, the Lord of Chaos had been plotting his revenge, enduring painstakingly.

It wasn't until recently that he finally ascended to a Multiverse God and rushed here, but he was still one step too late. Even worse, Martin had somehow found two more Multiverse Gods!

Those two beings who suddenly appeared have remained in slumber ever since; something must be wrong...

He couldn't wait any longer!

“You're too late. I've already ascended to a Multiverse God. Of course, even if you had come earlier, it wouldn't have mattered; I'd still be confident in killing you.”

Wielding his Star Sword, Martin calmly looked up at the impossibly massive head before him.

“Aren't you surprised to see me?” the Lord of Chaos growled.

Martin sneered, “You're a dead man walking anyway, why would I be surprised?”

Just then, another colossal head descended with a roar from the depths of the Multiverse. What was different was this head's expression, which was utterly peaceful.

This was the Lord of Order, the antithesis of Chaos, who held the Order Divine Title of this Multiverse.

The Lord of Order calmly stated, “Martin, your rapid rise has severely disrupted the balance and conventions of the Multiverse...”

“Shut up, you scum. Where's the other one?”

Martin spoke indifferently, his gaze sweeping past the Lord of Order and landing on the tiny figure clinging between the two colossal heads.

Outwardly, this was an unremarkable Human.

“Allow me to introduce myself, I am the In-Betweener.” The Human had a gentle, polite demeanor, yet within this veneer of orderliness, an extreme madness lay hidden.

It was as if the two Concepts of Chaos and Order were entirely concentrated within this Human.

The In-Betweener was also a Multiverse-tier entity, the connecting link between the Lord of Chaos and the Lord of Order.

Three terrifying figures closed in, completely surrounding the tiny figure of Martin in their center, glaring menacingly.

The three interconnected terrifying auras, now completely unconcealed, surged forth, directly shaking the very foundations of Chaos and Order in the Multiverse. That mighty power, transcending endless Space-Time, slowly diffused, causing countless entities to nearly suffocate.

“This guy is doomed... He grew too fast, and too unnaturally. This time, he surely...”

In the Universe behind them, Death stood in her palace, gazing at the confrontation beyond the cosmos, her voice venomous, laced with both dread and malicious joy.

Fortunately, fortunately, Order, Chaos, and the In-Betweener had made their move.

Who would have thought Martin would grow so quickly? He just went through a Zombie Major Event and, in one go, became a Multiverse Deity! That would be astounding enough, but he then somehow, using unknown means, brought forth two more slumbering Multiverse-tier entities?!

“With those three making a powerful move, inherently blessed by the entire Multiverse, Martin is just newly ascended and utterly insufficient to contend against them... This time, no one can save Martin.”

Eternity whispered, then turned to look at Death: “Chaos and Order... you truly didn't summon them?”

Death merely sneered: “If Martin and Chaos didn't have a hostile relationship, what difference would it make if I summoned them or not? Anyway, I only need to wait. I will personally witness his demise!”

Boom!

A terrifying sword beam, tearing through everything, suddenly struck, instantly crossing all barriers and boundaries, precisely slashing at Death!

“Damn it!”

“How dare he?!”

“There's truly nothing he wouldn't dare to do...”

The next instant, Death was instantly cleaved to death by a single sword strike. Her Avatar in this Universe was obliterated by Martin from afar with one blow. From then on, this Universe had no Death; everyone could live forever, until the destruction of the world.

The other three Creator Gods silently watched this scene, each with an indifferent expression, glancing at Martin warily.
