Chapter 193

chapter 121 part 2

This terrifying virus could not be overemphasized.

Martin went directly to the deepest part of the academy, gazing indifferently at the two heads, one large and one small.

"You finally came..."

"It's not that simple to study the secrets of the zombies."

The moment they saw Martin, their eyes erupted with obsession and madness, an extreme greed. After all, only Martin here possessed a flesh-and-blood body, so... theoretically, they could infect Martin!

Ratchet, standing nearby, said with a serious expression, "This virus can be understood as an extreme amplification of life, causing the spirit and body of a lifeform to undergo monstrous mutations, yet still retaining its own intelligence and strength..."

Martin said blandly, "How much longer do you need to decrypt this virus?"

"With the full assistance of the Magic Orb, combining the power of scientists worldwide, I'd probably need... one month!" Ratchet replied.

Cybertron housed many astonishingly intelligent individuals: Ratchet, Shockwave, Wheeljack, Banner, Alpha Trion... each possessing formidable intellect.

"One month? Are you joking?" Doctor Doom scoffed.

Ratchet ignored him.

Because Cybertron had the terrifying supercomputer, the Magic Orb! With the Magic Orb in hand, they would possess almost infinite computational power. Combined with a few top scientists to guide the direction and input variables, even the entire multiverse could be calculated!

Could this virus be more complex than the multiverse itself?

Shockwave said indifferently, "I tried to temper this virus using the Hammer of Heavenly Pride. The Hammer of Heavenly Pride has already performed a preliminary analysis and decryption of this virus, saving us a lot of time."

The Hammer of Heavenly Pride, one of the Ten Great Divine Artifacts, could forge any form of raw material into the ultimate powerful weapon. It possessed countless terrifying formula reserves itself and could also be considered a supercomputer, just not as exaggerated as the Magic Orb.

"Then let's act. I need to figure out what these viruses are as soon as possible, as they can break through the laws of the universe to infect... Also, set up defensive lines; there will be a continuous stream of zombies attacking. Just kill them... And I'll emphasize one more thing: organic lifeforms are not to charge into battle with the zombies. Everyone, stay put on Cybertron!"

Martin said with an indifferent expression before turning to depart. He had more important things to do.

To find a way to ascend to a multiverse-tier deity.

"As long as I can become a multiverse deity, mere zombie viruses are nothing to worry about."

Martin looked up, gazing at the cosmic starry sky, where dramatic changes were erupting everywhere. He took a deep breath, donning his Supreme Divine Armor. His powerful willpower swept across the cosmic expanse, finally fixing on... the World Tree!

Muspelheim, the world of the Fire Demons.

Sindr was leading her army in fierce battle against the relentlessly invading zombies.

Because they were flame lifeforms, although they possessed bodies, they leaned more towards the energy side. As long as they weren't bitten squarely, it was difficult for them to be infected.

This fiery world could still hold out, until a terrifying individual arrived.

Dark Phoenix.

"Sindr, I smell fresh meat on you..."

Jean of Universe 2149 constantly sniffed, her face filled with greed. The Phoenix Phantom emerging from her body, burning with golden-yellow flames, practically suppressed the entire world.

Even Sindr, the Fire Lord, was completely suppressed before the Phoenix Force, her face filled with despair.

All of Muspelheim wailed, countless fire demons hunted by zombies.

Boom!

A loud boom echoed as Martin, clad in heavy armor and wielding the Star Sword, charged straight for the Dark Phoenix. The sword strike nearly cleaved Muspelheim in two.

"Your Phoenix Force... hand it over to me!"

A cold gleam flashed in Martin's eyes. The Phoenix Force within him instantly erupted, a Phoenix Phantom appearing behind him, though not as powerful as the one behind the Dark Phoenix.

The two beings wielding the Phoenix Force clashed fiercely. Amidst flashing blue light, the Dark Phoenix was cleaved in half by Martin's sword.

"Damn it, how is my essence from this universe inside you?!" The Phoenix Force flew out from the Dark Phoenix's body, roaring in fury.

Martin sneered. With a raised hand, countless chains instantly shot out, forcefully piercing the space-time barrier and the energy shield. They bound the Phoenix from Universe 2149 and instantly pulled it into his own body.

Just like what he had done years ago on Earth, he imprisoned the Phoenix Force in this manner.

"Master..." Sindr looked at Martin.

But Martin didn't even spare her a glance. After capturing the Phoenix Force, he immediately turned and left. Inside him, the two Phoenixes were forced by Martin to merge, transforming into a completely new Phoenix – healthier, more powerful, and far more volatile.

"Martin! You damned thing, how dare you do this to me!! One day you'll face my retribution!"

The Phoenix struggled wildly. Even though it had become significantly more powerful, instantly reaching the limits of a Single Universe-tier, it still couldn't break free from the Allspark's restraints. The Allspark's endless power gave the Phoenix a headache.

"What kind of divine artifact is this, anyway?"

"The Phoenix from this universe was devoured by me. And your complete counterpart from Universe 2149, though possessing Single Universe-tier power, became a zombie's plaything..." Martin scoffed.

"Zombies?" The new Phoenix also let out a sneering laugh. With the merging of the Phoenixes from two universes, the one from Universe 2149 was clearly more powerful and dominant. It scoffed, "In my eyes, zombies are no different from ordinary humans. They are merely a new species with greatly amplified desires... From the perspective of many lifeforms, aren't humans also zombies?"

It was the Phoenix Force! Born supreme, to it, there was no distinction between zombies and normal humans at all.

After a while, it didn't receive a response from Martin and grew uneasy. Struggling frantically, it said in a deep voice, "Where are you going?"

"To collect more of you, of course. If you hadn't barged into my universe, I'd still be thinking about how to ascend to a multiverse deity. Now that you're here, I don't need to think for myself. I just need to enslave more of you, then forcefully elevate myself... to become a God!"

Martin flew into the cosmic starry sky, pursuing that formidable power, to seize another fragment of the Phoenix hidden deep within the universe!
