Chapter 190

chapter 119 part 2

The broken-bodied Galactus turned to look at Martin, a look of delight on his face. He opened his mouth wide to bite, but was directly struck by the Star Sword. In an instant, half his head was cleaved open.

"After becoming a zombie, your already not-so-good brain has gotten even worse."

Martin glanced indifferently, then, clutching the Star Sword, lunged forward, violently engaging the two Galactus.

"I'll eat you!" the Lifebringer shrieked.

Three figures intertwined, and a terrifying battle erupted with a thunderous clash.

The immense radiance, carrying the might to tear everything apart, instantly obliterated Zombie Galactus. Knowing the characteristics of zombies, Martin not only severed Galactus's head but also utterly disintegrated him into microscopic particle form—even then, Martin wasn't entirely sure Galactus was truly dead.

In the original work, Captain America's head was chopped in half, and the remaining half was pulled out by Red Skull. Everyone thought Zombie Captain America was dead, but many years later, Black Panther actually placed half of Captain America's brain into his son's head, and Zombie Captain America was resurrected...

And that was just Captain America, a level-two combatant, not even a true superpowered being, yet so tenacious. At Galactus's level, he would only be even harder to kill.

"How do you know so much about us..."

The zombie Lifebringer looked at Martin with suspicion, a cautious glint in his murky eyes.

"No, I don't know enough yet. So, hurry up and let me chop you to death, then I can properly study you..."

Martin sneered, then erupted into a fierce battle with the Lifebringer. Two powerful Universe-tier entities clashed, shaking countless planets and destroying innumerable star systems, but no one cared.

All eyes were focused on the Lifebringer. Many Deities were somewhat bewildered; this virus from an alternate universe was too strange, many aspects of it simply couldn't be analyzed or deciphered.

"Martin knows what this thing is. He's been calm the entire time..."

The Deities stared intently at Martin, but their vision was obstructed by his powerful Supreme Divine Armor.

Boom, boom, boom!

Martin inflicted wound after wound on the Lifebringer.

The Lifebringer let out an enraged roar, constantly swinging his arms, unleashing waves of power, trying to grab Martin and devour him whole!

Just one bite, he only needed to bite him once. No matter what kind of Deity you were, you would become one of his kind!!

But Martin was incredibly cunning, completely avoiding physical contact with the Lifebringer. He merely swung the Star Sword frantically, slashing and focusing on injuring the Lifebringer's neck.

Rumble!

A loud crash.

Blue light that tore through the universe flashed. Martin, clad in heavy armor, raised his Star Sword and charged directly forward. With a thunderous strike, he severed the Lifebringer's heavily scarred neck.

"Ah, Martin, you damned thing!! I have no grievance with you, and we've even cooperated before. Why are you stopping me!"

The Lifebringer's mouth gaped wide, roaring in fury.

Martin's gaze was cold. First, under the watchful eyes of all, he utterly obliterated the corpses of the Lifebringer and Galactus into dust, ensuring not a single drop of blood or speck of flesh remained. Only then did he feel somewhat at ease.

Even if some fool with too much time on their hands wanted to piece together the remains of the Lifebringer or Galactus from countless particles, it would be impossible. Martin directly scattered these countless particles throughout the entire universe, making them appear no different from other ordinary particles.

"You are my trophy now."

Martin looked down, extended the Star Sword, and plunged it into the Lifebringer's brow. Then, holding the massive head aloft, he flew through the universe.

"Where do you intend to take me? If you wish to study my secrets, I advise you to give up. I, a Deity who creates life, cannot analyze or resist this virus from an alternate universe!"

The Lifebringer roared loudly.

"What you cannot do doesn't mean I cannot. Just rest assured and be my test subject. It's a tragedy that you, a Creator God, were the first to fall..."

Martin glanced at the creature, inexplicably letting out a sigh of relief—Marvel's iron law: small matters involve Galactus's death, big matters involve the Living Tribunal's death. This universe's Living Tribunal had already perished when Chthon arrived, leaving only an evolved version of Galactus.

Now that he had personally eliminated the Lifebringer, Martin immediately felt a sense of peace. Otherwise, he would have always felt that something was missing, a hollowness in his heart.

Chapter 227

Earth.

A horrifying scene spread across the globe with alarming speed.

Slurp, slurp...

Captain America was avidly tearing into an arm.

"Steve, even your 'conscience' has fallen. How many people have you devoured alive these past few days? Seeing you like this, I'm... gratified."

Red Skull was surrounded by a horde of zombie heroes, a grim smile on his face, blood gushing from his severed shoulder.

Steve's devouring motion abruptly paused, a look of sorrow flashing across his face, but it was quickly replaced by hunger. He muttered, "I can't control myself..."

This was the tragedy of zombies: they possessed intellect and memories, yet they were transformed into monsters controlled by gluttony.

More zombie heroes lunged at Red Skull, and soon, Red Skull also transformed into a zombie.

"Red Skull, quickly use Professor X's brain to search for living people for us!"

Ant-Man shouted urgently.

"Mmm, fresh brains. I can barely resist eating it myself..."

Red Skull mumbled, then immediately began to use his psychic abilities to search for living beings on Earth. This was the main reason the zombies kept him alive.

Not long after, the entire Earth fell—or more accurately, all carbon-based lifeforms fell, leaving only the Transformers.

"Damn it, those guys from the alternate universe have cosmic powers; they've already flown into space to search for more food! Only we are trapped on Earth, and those Transformers are just a bunch of inedible metal blocks!"

Many zombies gathered together, grumbling, all ravenously hungry, tormented to the brink of madness.
