Chapter 161

chapter 102 part 1

Incredibly weak flying insects, yet they can parasitize and control a Universe-tier Mechanical Celestial!

The Celestial that died on Earth was a mass-produced model of the Prime Arbiter. While a mere mass-produced Celestial was worthless to the Celestials roaming the Multiverse, it became quite interesting when one considered that a Prime Arbiter, capable of rivaling a God of the Universe, was actually controlled by such weak insects…

This was quite interesting.

Hiss, hiss, hiss!!

Sharp shrieks rang out, carrying a powerful destructive urge. If one analyzed them closely, they would discover that these cries possessed a unique vibrational frequency capable of dissecting willpower.

But to Martin, it was utterly useless.

A Cosmic Locust rushed towards Martin, emitting a piercing shriek.

*Splat!*

Martin casually squeezed, and the locust exploded on the spot, disgusting green liquid oozing from its shattered body.

"So this is the Primordial Matter that brewed Earth's life..."

Martin's gaze swept over, looking at the green bodily fluid oozing from the locust.

It is well known that the origin of life on Marvel's Earth is very peculiar, and the earliest single-celled organisms indeed emerged from the oceans.

But very few people understand where these earliest single-celled organisms came from.

They came from right here.

This Prime Arbiter before them was parasitized by Cosmic Locusts, its mind in chaos, wildly careening through the Universe, eventually crashing onto Earth.

The crazed Celestial, at the brink of its life, vomited a mouthful of something—containing both its own Life Code and a mixture of Cosmic Locust bodily tissues.

Yes, Earth life began to emerge from this very vomit expelled by the Prime Arbiter.

It was disgusting, but it was precisely the truth.

More Cosmic Locusts awakened, horrifying cries rose and fell, eventually forming a chorus. Possessing terrifying penetrative power, after echoing through the Earth's Core, they gradually penetrated the strata, vaguely reaching the surface!

Some sensitive individuals immediately sensed something was amiss, but they couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. Many of them only displayed agitation and unease, unable to truly "hear" the locusts' voices.

Stephen Strange heard it.

"Something is screaming in the Earth's Core," the Sorcerer Supreme commanded. "Have all the mages of the Three Sanctums on alert. We might have trouble."

As time passed, these cries led to global chaos. Large numbers of birds died, and many species also began to turn violent. And yet, these were merely the most insignificant fraction of the Cosmic Locusts' power.

In the Earth's Core.

Martin watched expressionlessly as these insects, awakening from billions of years of slumber, stirred. Their terrifying vibrational cries had no effect on him whatsoever.

"I am very interested in your species," Martin said. "Unfortunately, since you can parasitize and control Celestials, then for many of my subordinates, you are also a natural enemy... I know you understand. I, the Lord of Cybertron, sentence you—to Annihilation!"

Martin finally bared his fierce fangs. Powerful energy waves surged from him; even when intentionally restrained, it caused the entire Earth to tremble.

Each Cosmic Locust was slain by Martin's energy waves, along with many unhatched eggs, all were utterly destroyed.

The remaining Cosmic Locusts dared not show themselves, but their cries became even more shrill and desperate.

They desperately swarmed into the remains of the dead Celestial. Soon, the entire Earth's Core was abruptly clear, save for the scattered debris.

But in the next instant, the Prime Arbiter, long dead and with its chassis already decaying, actually began to… move after being flooded with a massive number of Cosmic Locusts!

On its ruined body, the bulb-like parts covering its entire form began to glow—a sign of energy circulation and the chassis's revival. Gradually, two colossal arms propped up the massive, hundreds-of-meters-tall body, and the many bulbs on its battle-helmet also lit up one after another.

The Prime Arbiter, it seemed, was alive. Even the powerful cosmic pressure that rushed forth was steadily increasing.

"Not bad."

Martin commented, growing even more interested in these Cosmic Locusts.

So fragile in themselves, yet able to control a mechanical lifeform's corpse to such an extent… Truly, their potential was astonishing, naturally possessing a powerful restraining ability over mechanical lifeforms. A race with such potential, specialized abilities, and remarkable reproductive power…

It was better that they were Annihilated after all.

"Human, a descendant branch of our race, leave this place now," the Prime Arbiter said. "We are not interested in your flesh and blood body."

The bulbs all over the Prime Arbiter's body flickered continuously, as ancient, arcane words slowly emanated.

This was a language only Deities could understand; every sound carried vast meaning, and ordinary lifeforms, even if they heard it, could not decipher it.

"But I am very interested in you," Martin said, picking his ear. "And stop constantly claiming I am a descendant of your insects..." A Universe-tier energy field spread, compressing the remaining Cosmic Locusts, making their breaths somewhat chaotic.

"Our race is the origin of Earth's life," the Prime Arbiter declared. "The genes of all lifeforms on Earth carry a billionth of our race's genes. We existed first, then you."

Martin smiled, his grin so savage. "You're truly mistaken. What I mean is, once I've killed you all, and Annihilated you from the entire Universe and even the entire Multiverse, then no one will ever say that Humans are a descendant branch of insects anymore..."

"So, die, you vile insects! You're blocking my path! You were born to be… Annihilated by me!!"

Chapter 193

The fierce battle erupted. This was also the first true Universe-tier enemy Martin had faced since his promotion to Universe-tier—Knull didn't count; he was already slain by Martin before fully recovering his True Form.

"Despite being decayed for so long, it still possessed such formidable combat power… As expected of a Prime Arbiter. No, it should rather be said, as expected of the Cosmic Locusts."

A cold indifference appeared on Martin's face. He looked up, giving the hundreds-of-meters-tall behemoth a deep glance, then made his move.

The Allspark immediately erupted, and powerful waves of vitalizing energy directly spread towards the Prime Arbiter.
