Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 93

Another terrifying clash erupted. After this fierce blow, Thanos was sent flying, his body covered in wounds. Even with the Infinite Sword and Infinity Gauntlet, they couldn't fully protect him.

"What exactly is this weapon in Martin's hand... the Star Sword? I've searched the entire Multiverse and have never heard of such a strange Divine Artifact."

"Compared to that, I'm more concerned about where this sword came from. Infinity, can you pinpoint its location?"

Infinity, who embodies infinite space, shook his head gravely. "No, it's the same as before. It's untraceable, unobservable, impossible to pinpoint. All the Divine Artifacts on Martin seem to have appeared out of nowhere, naturally, without triggering any rejection from the Universe itself."

The emergence of every Divine Artifact is a shortcut to unleashing immense power. As Creator Gods of the Universe, they should, by rights, have some sensation of it.

But reality was cruel; just like before, they had no way of knowing.

"Could he really have forged it himself? Using a method we can't perceive?"

"It certainly seems that way for now. Only this can explain it. Otherwise, I find it hard to believe there's any method that would allow Divine Artifacts from an Alternate Universe to perfectly function within the Universes we Cosmic Gods rule."

Death said in a deep voice.

The many Ancient Beings fell silent, their expressions complex as they watched the intense battlefield. The cosmic pressure emanating from the center of the battlefield even caused these Cosmic Gods to feel a tremor in their hearts.

"Too powerful... Thanos's strength is easy to understand; as long as he lives, Destiny will favor him, especially with the Infinite Sword in hand... But that Martin..."

Kronos's expression was complex.

As a cosmic entity and the God of Time, he could feel Martin's power steadily rising, and the portion of strength he represented was also rapidly escalating...

It seemed that the distance to the level he occupied was no longer far...

Would he witness the rise of a new Cosmic God?

This rise was far too rapid, wasn't it?

Boom!

Another fluctuation erupted, disturbing even some weaker Cosmic Gods, annihilating countless planets.

Martin was absolutely suppressing Thanos. Each swing of the Star Sword, which could dazzle even a Deity, unleashed blue light that seemed to dye the Laws of the Universe a beautiful, deep blue.

Roaring crashes echoed throughout the Universe as the two long swords collided repeatedly, shattering countless matter and Space-Time.

Boom!

The muscles behind Martin's Divine Armor were already bulging, veins popping out. Amidst the terrifying burst of power, he sent Thanos flying with another strike, then swiftly pursued him, raining down successive blows with the Star Sword from above.

Each massive impact generated more and more shattered fragments from the long sword.

Thanos was forced back repeatedly, spewing copious amounts of blood from his mouth as his internal organs began to rupture. However, the Infinite power quickly healed his injuries—unfortunately, Martin's damage output far outpaced the healing speed.

Boom!

With a final blow, Martin slammed Thanos into a planet. With a thunderous explosion, the entire planet began to detonate.

"You lose."

Martin stood indifferently in the cosmic starlit sky, coldly watching the destruction of a planet.

A dishevelled figure burst out from the aftershocks of the exploding planet, covered in dust and grime, his body riddled with wounds, some so deep they revealed bone.

"No, no, this is impossible... My Infinite Sword is the most powerful Divine Artifact in this Universe, how could it be shattered by you..."

Thanos gasped for breath, his eyes bloodshot, completely ignoring his own injuries as he frantically looked down at his Infinite Sword.

He froze.

The Infinite Sword was covered in cracks, as if it could shatter at any moment. Even more terrifying, a clear chunk had broken off from the section Martin had furiously attacked.

"Are you looking for this?"

Martin slowly opened his hand.

A fragment of the Infinite Sword, surging with powerful energy, lay quietly in Martin's palm.

Chapter 177

Thanos continuously spewed blood from his mouth. More terrifyingly, everything below his waist had been severed by Martin and then annihilated into countless atoms by a flash of his sword light.

Life was rapidly draining away. Once again, Thanos personally felt his own Death, but what he felt even more deeply than before was the collapse of cosmic Destiny.

Faintly, he seemed to understand something.

"A terrible feeling..."

Thanos displayed a bitter smile.

"You didn't need to feel this terrible sensation again. You could have slept forever, but you insisted on being a dog for Death."

Martin walked step by step, approaching the dying Thanos with an expressionless face. He then raised his sword, severed Thanos's hands, pried open his fingers one by one, and retrieved the remaining half of the broken sword.

Now, the Infinite Sword had completely fallen into Martin's hands. It was indeed an excellent spoil of war, rarely seen in the world.

In the comics, this sword shattered into countless fragments. Any single fragment was enough to turn the Silver Surfer into a corrupted Dark Surfer who instantly overwhelmed everything, and it could even fully satiate a starving, frenzied Galactus.

The Infinite power contained within the Infinite Sword was an important piece of the entire Infinite power — of course, referring to the Infinite power connected to the six ordinary gems. The three unique Infinity Stones, which were unique throughout the entire Multiverse, were far superior and simply beyond the reach of a mere Infinite Sword.

Now, this sword belonged to Martin, and to Cybertron.

"Die peacefully, Thanos... Your life was a glorious tragedy, dying twice and not even having a tombstone."

Martin quietly looked at the Cosmic Overlord before him. No, he was more like a dog that had lost all hope...

"You've already noticed, haven't you? The Destiny that returned from you to me is crumbling... This is their objective. They only need to strip the Destiny from you..."

Thanos spat out a mouthful of blood, mixed with large fragments of internal organs, and whispered a single sentence in his final moments of life.

But what answered him was Martin's strange gaze.

"You're wrong again, Thanos... I have never, ever cared about this damn thing called Destiny. The status I possess now, I seized it through constant aggression and plunder, paving the way with the blood and corpses of countless enemies... What does that have to do with Destiny? Such a boring trick, does it even deserve to be mentioned alongside my glorious achievements?"

Martin scoffed, then gave Thanos a deep look. The Star Sword moved, slicing down towards Thanos's head.

A blue light flashed.

A head shot into the sky.

In the Universe, Thanos, descendant of the Eternal Titan Race, finally met his end. Although the consequences of this repeated killing were extremely severe, and the Destiny that had been repeatedly manipulated shattered.

But Martin didn't care at all.

Waves of powerful Divine Power fluctuations surged forth, and pairs of eyes, brewing with various sinister emotions, now crossed vast Space-Time, all falling upon Martin, carrying a deep dread and... greed.

Crack!

Martin placed a foot on Thanos's corpse, head held high, and coldly chuckled as he gazed at the scattered starlight: "This is your goal, isn't it? Or rather, Death, is this your ultimate goal? To give the Infinite Sword to Thanos; if he could kill me in one fell swoop, all the better. If not, at least he could provoke my Destiny, and then you would intervene to sever that Destiny... A decent plan, and also a laughable one."

"Since when do dignified Cosmic Gods resort to such foolish methods to deal with a newly rising existence?"

Martin sneered repeatedly, seemingly casually lifting the Star Sword and resting it on his shoulder. Its terrifying power, capable of rending the Universe, radiated outwards in waves, precisely targeting the origins of those probing gazes.

Not long after, voices filled with shock and fury rang out.

"Martin, you are too disrespectful!"

"You no longer have Destiny, you are no longer this Universe's darling!"

"You, a Skyfather-tier being, dare to offend us Deities... You are seeking death!"

Voices, some sinister, others displeased, resounded.

But Martin merely stood in the cosmic starlit sky with a cold sneer, surrounded by shattered planetary debris, like endless mountain ranges stretching across the Universe.

"So, simply by becoming a Cosmic God, I can stand on the same level as you idiots? Will that finally shut you arrogant fools up?"

Martin simply plunged the Star Sword directly into the dead Thanos's chest, looking up at the sky, a hint of mockery now added to his cold sneer. What truly unsettled these Deities was that Martin was emanating a presence that transcended boundaries.

This lower boundary was being violently torn open by surging power, giving the entire Universe the sensation that something incredibly powerful was being born...

"No, don't tell me you..."

"Impossible! How could you advance to a Cosmic God so quickly? How long has it been since you awakened your abilities until now, when you stand alongside us?!"

"Don't forget, this guy once possessed the Time Stone. Perhaps he's already spent countless years hidden away in the corners of time..."

All the Deities watched. Even those who harbored no animosity towards Martin, nor held any negative opinions, were now moved, gazing at this scene in astonishment.

The Allspark within Martin's body was now wildly gushing forth various powers, forcefully pushing Martin's already Skyfather-tier strength even further upwards!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Faintly, deafening roars continuously echoed only on the level of the Laws of the Universe, signaling the birth of a Universe-tier existence, a being capable of standing alongside the entire Universe with its individual might!

Crack!

The next second, accompanied by an explosive crack, Martin had already crossed that chasm-like boundary. Surging with power far beyond anything he had possessed before, his life level underwent a massive leap, and he truly became... a God!

Universe-tier!

On par with the ancient Deities!

Swish!

Martin casually drew the Star Sword from beside him. Wielding the Star Sword at the Universe-tier was enough to unleash its full power. The Cosmic Gods were now shaken by the terrifying sword light, faintly sensing a dreadful crisis.

This Martin... he now possessed the ability to slay gods!

For a moment, all beings fell silent.

After a long while.

"Boring."

An impatient voice sounded.

The colossal Galactus finally lost patience with this foolish standoff. His stomach was rumbling, and he was completely uninterested in who killed whom, or who became a God.

He just wanted to eat.

And he specialized in devouring all kinds of life planets.

Guys like Martin and Thanos... to hell with them, utterly boring.

Chapter 178

Soon, many high-level existences throughout the entire Universe learned that a brand new Cosmic God had risen.

It was none other than the Lord of Cybertron, the ferocious Martin!

"Is that so? Death went to all that trouble, not hesitating to drag poor Thanos out for use again, at most only managing to tear away Martin's Destiny. But who would have thought Martin no longer needed Destiny at all?"

Many beings conversed in low voices, whispering. Their gazes, surveying the Universe, now held a hint of strangeness.

How ironic.

"What do you plan to do?" Eternity quietly asked the figure beside him.
