Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 88

"For defense, I have the Supreme Divine Armor; for offense, I have the Star Sword; for reserves, I have the Allspark. Many limitations simply don't exist for me... So this is what it means to be Universe-tier..."

Soon.

Right now, with a collection of divine artifacts, he could directly contend with Universe-tier beings and emerge victorious. More importantly, Martin himself, under the ceaseless sublimation of the Allspark, had already reached the peak of the Skyfather-tier.

He was just one step, no, half a step away from breaking through that chasm-like barrier and becoming a noble Universe-tier God.

Soon, very soon, he would truly become a Universe God through his own life essence.

Earth.

Earthlings had only experienced a negligible aftershock of the War of the Ten Realms, merely being attacked by Malekith's Dark Elves army. Although tens of millions died and dozens of cities suffered varying degrees of damage, at least, they fortunately endured it.

This was much better than the situation in the comics.

In the comics, the entire Earth fell. The Dark Elves, Fire Demons, and other worlds achieved total victory, completely crushing the superheroes of Earth's various nations. They directly carved up Earth, dispatching armies to occupy different continents. For example, the Far East was conquered and occupied by Sindr's Fire Demons.

Even Antarctica was partitioned.

It was only because Martin was present this time, taking strong action to kill the powerful enemy, that Earth was spared from annihilation. It was merely a surprise attack by the Dark Elves.

The invasion by powerful armies from other worlds of the World Tree also completely stimulated Earth's major factions. This was a war unlike any before; they were almost, almost finished.

Some insane plans were initiated. Major factions began to invest regardless of cost, solely to acquire even greater war power.

"Mr. Reginald, the President asked me to inquire about the progress of Project X."

A man walked into the dim basement, speaking in a deep voice.

Chapter 168

As everyone knows, the entire US Military has two main focus areas in biological experimentation: one is the Super Soldier Program led by General Ross, researching things like Hulk serum to gain power; the other is the Weapon X Project led by Stryker.

However, Hulk was taken away by Martin, and General Ross's plan suffered a setback.

Stryker was killed by Martin, and the Weapon X Project suffered a setback.

This was quite awkward; all projects that the US had invested enormous sums into ended up being ruined by one person.

Yet, they dared not retaliate, nor did they have the ability to. History proved that every confrontation with this man ended in a crushing defeat. Especially now that this man had grown strong enough to directly kill a Skyfather-tier being and personally ended the War of the Ten Realms, the suffocating pressure was unprecedented.

It was despair-inducing.

How could mortals contend with a god?

"Was Ross the one who sent you?"

Reginald stopped his research and turned around, his handsome but gloomy and cold gaze falling on the newcomer. He sneered.

"Sir, we are all serving the country. Who sent me is not important."

The soldier said blandly, his face stoic.

Reginald stared at him for a long time, then chuckled, "You're right, but when you go back, tell Ross he's a failure. Don't think about extending his claws here... He and Stryker are both failures; they'll spend their lives wailing in my shadow!"

"That, you'll need to tell him yourself, sir. I'm only concerned with the experiment's progress." The soldier's eyelid twitched as he spoke.

Reginald snorted and turned on a light, abruptly illuminating the dark corner. The terrifying scene that appeared made the soldier involuntarily retreat, his face filled with horror.

"This is..."

"This is my most powerful experimental subject! Why are you afraid? Shouldn't you feel honored?"

Reginald let out a sinister laugh.

Before them, rows of half-human-sized transparent tanks were lined up. Each tank contained grotesque creatures: multiple eyes, hands growing on heads, and so on, embodying extreme horror and chaos.

The most eye-catching, however, was a blood-red Red She-Hulk, possessing both the angularity of steel and the elasticity of flesh, displaying a strange fusion. What terrified the soldier even more was that the Red She-Hulk's appearance was distinctly familiar to him...

Betty Ross, General Ross's long-missing daughter!

"Reginald, you've gone mad!"

The soldier decisively drew his gun and shot directly at Reginald, but the next moment, a two-meter-tall robot, seemingly an ornament, suddenly sprang to life. It rushed in front of Reginald with lightning speed, blocking all the bullets.

It was at least ten times the speed of sound, remarkably similar to... Quicksilver.

"On my turf, and you still want to kill me? Who gave you that confidence, that fool Ross?"

Reginald sneered, looking at the soldier held directly in the Sentry Robot's hand.

"This is treason! Publicly experimenting on a general's family member, you're insane!"

The soldier roared, then a crisp snap echoed from his neck as he was choked to death by the Sentry Robot.

"Boring... Mortals are so fragile. No wonder those Deities disdain humans, never taking them seriously, yet never underestimating them, always ignoring them..."

Reginald recalled some documents he had seen in the Military about that man: from killing Abomination on Broadway, to annihilating the Atlantic Fleet, to butchering Wakanda, and even leaving Earth to venture into the universe...

The satellite footage flashed by rapidly, finally settling on Martin's expressionless face, as if everything he did was merely a casual act.

"Soon, I will also become a god!"

Reginald ordered the Sentry Robot to retreat, looking at the Red She-Hulk before him with fanatical eyes.

He guessed correctly. That bastard Ross was indeed coveting Hulk's power and had been continuously adjusting his own genes, striving to emulate Hulk! Therefore, as the new head of the Super Soldier Program and the Weapon X Project, Reginald decisively sent Sentry Robots to abduct Ross's daughter, Betty. After several tests, he injected her with the Hulk serum.

Betty transformed into the Red Hulk, with the same terrifying strength and the same rage, no different from Hulk!

"To cultivate you, I even injected you with a large amount of X-Gene, Teleportation, Super Healing, Beta Adamantium, Heat Vision... Betty, you are my proudest creation, the pinnacle of two biological experiments."
