Chapter 131

chapter 85 part 2

Drax wiped his dagger, pretending to be profound as he said, "Perhaps, this is love. They used to say I didn't understand, but I think I do now."

"Idiot, what the hell are you talking about? A person and a Robot, hahahaha..." Rocket Raccoon burst out laughing, collapsing.

Drax roared in fury, "Damn little rabbit, do you want to test your strength against me?"

"Bring it on, I'm not afraid of you!"

Drax roared, and his terrifying Sub-Skyfather Cosmic Pressure erupted, causing the entire Spaceship to tremble violently. Immediately after, chaos ensued.

The tense atmosphere immediately eased.

Quill sat dejectedly in his seat, painfully clutching his hair: "I feel like an idiot."

Lockdown consoled him, "Don't just feel like one, you *are* an idiot, Quill. Anyone can see that kind of thing."

Quill's face darkened, and he grumbled curses. At the same time, he drew his powerful weapon capable of destroying a city, the Element Gun, looking ready to fight Lockdown to the death.

At this moment, a voice immediately emerged from the Spaceship: "Gentlemen, I've detected a very interesting piece of news. A brand new king has been born on the World Tree."

Lockdown said arrogantly, "I already knew that. Information from Cybertron is directly transmitted into my mind. Dawn, your information gathering System is truly outdated."

"Damn it, don't you dare talk about her like that!" Quill cursed.

Dawn was originally a star with Self-Will, but after a major crisis, the star collapsed, and its consciousness was uploaded directly to this Spaceship. It eventually met Quill, and Dawn had another identity — Quill's lover.

Quill could rendezvous with Dawn through a consciousness upload device.

This was truly impressive. His father was a Planet, and his lover was a star. Truly worthy of the name Star-Lord.

The group continuously traveled through the Universe. Thanks to Dawn's power, even when facing a black hole, they could escape immediately.

According to their plan, they had originally intended to go to the Milky Way Galaxy, to seriously mess with the Kree and Skrulls who had been at war for years. With Dawn's formidable abilities, as long as they disguised themselves well, they could definitely earn money from both sides.

But soon, a massive Energy field suddenly appeared, instantly locking onto them.

"What's happening?"

Everyone felt the Spaceship tremble, and their faces showed surprise. After so much adventuring, or rather, courting death in various ways, they had always relied on Dawn's power to escape danger. For this situation to occur now was highly unusual.

"There's a powerful enemy ahead!" Dawn's gentle voice also carried a hint of solemnity.

Lockdown slowly stood up, saying coldly, "I've detected an Energy Fluctuation exceeding Sub-Skyfather level. Gentlemen, we're in big trouble."

It seemed a Sub-Skyfather existence had suddenly attacked the Guardians of the Galaxy. Everyone was shocked, and somewhat bewildered.

"Quill, my child, you were born to belong to me."

A chilling voice directly pierced Dawn's defense System and entered the interior.

Lockdown abruptly looked up, his face freezing: "Ego? This guy really isn't dead yet. Last time, Optimus Prime shattered one of your Avatars, and this time you actually dare to show yourself again."

It was indeed the ancient Cosmic Celestial, Ego! The terrifying Planet Life!

The Guardians of the Galaxy members' expressions turned grim. After exchanging glances, Quill finally looked at Drax.

"Drax, you're the famous Destroyer. It shouldn't be hard to defeat this old geezer, right?" Rocket Raccoon whispered.

Drax's expression was gloomy as he whispered, "I am only Sub-Skyfather level. Even if Ego is somewhat injured, he still surpasses the Sub-Skyfather level... I'm sorry, I'm no match for him."

Drax looked helpless.

Ever since he was created by Thanos's grandfather, Kronos, the God of Time, his strength hadn't significantly increased. He had consistently been unable to break past the Sub-Skyfather limit and enter that transcendent level.

"Dawn, find a way to escape! Don't get entangled with this lunatic!"

Quill roared.

"It's no use, Quill, you can't escape. You are my offspring, my Bloodline flows within you!!"

A giant Planet loomed ahead. Terrifying Divine Radiance appeared, and on the Planet's surface, a face gazed with greed at the tiny Spaceship.

"When I ventured to Cybertron back then, it was essentially to save you. Only you can become a new me, become a new Celestial! But you doubt me like this? Do you trust Martin more than your own father?!"

Ego continued his Mind Control.

Quill's face showed his struggle. He was somewhat confused.

What exactly should he do?

"Lockdown..." Quill turned to look at Lockdown.

Lockdown sneered, "You want my advice? Good, that proves your brain isn't completely fried yet! Ego is utterly untrustworthy. He wants to take your Soul and Bloodline to empower himself. He wants to become a Cosmic God! As far as I know, if he can absorb you, his distance to Universe-tier will be significantly shortened."

Quill struggled for a moment, then suddenly opened his eyes and said in a deep voice, "Dawn, we... escape! I don't trust anyone right now!"

Boom!

A massive Energy wave swept over, brutally striking the Spaceship. Clearly, Ego had lost his patience.

"Spaceship energy drive damaged... I'm sorry, Quill, we might die here..." Dawn's despondent voice was heard.

Everyone's expressions immediately darkened.

Only Lockdown maintained his cold sneer, and at this moment, he even chuckled, "Don't worry, that bastard Ego won't live much longer. He's always been on Cybertron's hunt list; someone will come to deal with him..."

*Whoosh!*

A rainbow of light suddenly appeared from a distant region, followed by a roar.

A figure carrying a Greatsword stepped out from the Bifrost.
