Chapter 10

chapter 005 part 2

"Can we talk?"

Professor X looked at Martin with a gentle expression.

"Sorry, Professor X, I don't want to talk to you. We're not on the same path."

Martin refused without hesitation, his face serene.

"Alright, although I can generally feel your rejection of me, at the very least, we shouldn't become enemies, should we? Including you and this world, you shouldn't be enemies," Professor X hinted.

Martin was silent for a moment, then nodded and said, "I only want to achieve my goals. They'd better not interfere with me."

"That's best. Let's go back, Jean." Professor X maintained his gentle smile.

Jean and Martin exchanged glances, both seeing a profound meaning in the other's eyes.

Watching Professor X and Jean's retreating figures, Martin took a deep breath, pondering the momentary oppressive feeling he had sensed from Jean just now.

"An incomplete Dark Phoenix is already this terrifying. How much more powerful would she be when she gains more Phoenix fragments and ascends to the level of White Phoenix, or even the White Phoenix of the Crown..."

Martin shook his head. The Phoenix Force, one of the three primal forces of the multiverse, had always been madly pursued by countless lifeforms across the multiverse.

Just then, a figure covered in blood stumbled out of the house, looking at the mess outside with a bewildered expression. "Guys, I think I missed something. Was I beaten up?"

Everyone looked at him, and Martin smiled. "Yes, Bruce, your Hulk form was forcibly beaten back by Megatron. I'm afraid that big guy won't easily show himself for a long time to come."

Dr. Banner looked incredulous, subconsciously trying to feel the big guy inside him. But after several attempts, and even at the moment the transformation was about to complete, the Hulk saw Megatron sneering at him. After roaring "NO," he hurriedly shrank back.

He was truly scared stiff.

"Time to head back." Martin waved his hand, and the massive, million-strong army began to transform into vehicle form. In an instant, countless Iron Legion transformed into ordinary mechanical equipment.

Just then, Tony walked over, covered in dust and looking helpless. "I've been standing here for so long, couldn't you at least greet me?"

"I'm afraid, Mr. Stark, I don't really have much energy to spare for you." Martin made a gesture of dismissal, but it was clearly a signal for him to leave.

Tony stood there, looking bewildered, glancing around. Finally, he met Dr. Banner's gaze. The two exceptionally intelligent heroes exchanged a look, and then Dr. Banner slammed the door shut.

Only Tony was left standing alone outside, his face a mess. He, the illustrious Tony Stark, a charming man, was actually rejected by a group of men and metal robots?

Damn it!!

"The Creator, what is our next operational objective? Is it to attack Magneto's Atlantic Ocean base? They should have many precious metals stored there, which would be very useful for our great cause."

Megatron's face was eager, filled with a strong bloodlust.

Dr. Banner, feeling the sharp pain in his body, looked at him with fear.

"No, we have a better target. What do you say about attacking an independent kingdom with endless Vibranium deposits?" Martin's eyes gleamed as he casually picked up the globe from the table, spun it, and then pointed directly at a certain spot in Africa.

The Kingdom of Wakanda was roughly in that area.

"An excellent idea! If you permit it, I will lead a million warriors to conquer this place!" Megatron's eyes lit up, shooting forth a terrifying blood-red light.

Dr. Banner exclaimed in shock, "Attacking an independent kingdom, God, this is a serious violation of international law! You'll be labeled a terrorist!!"

At his words, both Martin and Megatron looked at him with surprise.

"Bruce, you might be a little mistaken... In this world, at most, they'll define me as a supervillain, the world's number one scoundrel. But no one dares to accuse me of being a terrorist, because they wouldn't dare, just like what Doctor Doom does in Latveria."

Martin suddenly burst out laughing.

On this Earth, there were indeed many powerful figures he feared, such as the Ancient One of Kamar-Taj, the Jade Emperor, leader of K'un-Lun, and so on. But this list absolutely did not include the so-called Wakanda.

Well, purely based on Wakanda's combat power in the movies, Megatron, leading a million troops, would only need one charge to annihilate Wakanda!

Black Panther, White Panther, all would die!

The Transformers, capable of fighting, analyzing, and wielding kinetic weapons, were incomparable to Thanos's mass-produced bio-weapon Outriders from the movies. Those lowly, mindless creatures who only knew how to howl and charge forward to bite were utterly no match for his Transformers Army.

But if it were the Wakanda from the comics, now that would be interesting.

The Wakanda in the comics, you see, is protected by gods.

Chapter 13

"Dr. Banner, do you know why I prefer to interact with you rather than Tony Stark?"

Martin sat comfortably on the sofa, impeccably clean from head to toe, and took a sip of coffee, saying indifferently.

Without waiting for Banner to speak, he immediately said, "Because compared to Stark, your moral bottom line is lower!"

"You came from the military, your profession is a physical scientist, and you and your father specifically worked for General Ross, researching powerful bio-weapons. You must have conducted many cruel experiments, wouldn't you agree? Compared to you, Tony isn't ruthless enough. He's too soft-hearted; he decided to shut down his weapons division after seeing civilians killed by his weapons. This act... is a bit foolish, but it's also a heroic one."

Martin tsk-tsked in admiration, unsure if he was praising the coffee's rich flavor or Tony's actions.

But compared to Tony, Dr. Banner's moral bottom line was lower. For instance, how many innocent civilians died due to his rampages as the Hulk? Time and again, his bottom line was repeatedly crossed.

Furthermore, with two generations of father and son conducting cruel human experimentation for the military, some things had long been deeply ingrained in Dr. Banner's bloodline.

Dr. Banner stared blankly, his eyes devoid of spirit.

Martin stood up, poured a cup of coffee for Dr. Banner and handed it to him, then clapped Banner heavily on the shoulder before turning and leaving.

Dr. Banner's father was also a very troublesome fellow. Although he had been dead for a long time, his soul had actually been taken by the terrifying One-Below-All (OBA). At this very moment, he was probably in hell, coldly and cruelly observing everything about Banner.

The Hulk... was the body possession vessel chosen by the One-Below-All. However, that was many years in the future; the One-Below-All needed a mature Hulk body, not the current infant-like form.
